Mixed feelings on our stay at Ivis 4. Our room was wonderful and the location was easy walking distance to the Psyri area, market place and other locations of interest. The pictures in the marketing brochures show a roof deck with great views of the Acropolis. When we opened the curtains to our second floor room, our balcony view was of a two story abandoned building that was falling apart. When I inquired about our room location and asked about the views of the Acropolis I was told that room is a large suite on the top floor. The first night we arrived we were going to bed and there was loud music from the adjacent restaurants around the corner. I called down to the desk to inquire about when the noise would subside. I was told "around 2:00 am, because it was from the local bars". The desk person asked me if I wanted ear plugs. That was not a good sign. The second night was not as bad. Maybe our first night was just one of those nights. The breakfast was by menu only, not buffet like most hotels. The food was very good though. The hotel lobby and bar area is very comfortable and the front desk staff was very helpful with questions. To sum up our stay, I would say if you want a quiet place to sleep, this isn't the best location. The hotel was very nice, clean and in a good location, just not what we expected.

Beautiful hotel and located within a five minute walk of Old Town. Our large balcony overlooked the beautiful clear ocean. Even got to feel a small earthquake while sitting on the balcony. We stayed in one of the two executive suites (#602) which had great views of Old Town to the north and the ocean to the west. The staff was fantastic. They breakfast buffet was exceptional. The hotel offers a beach bag with towels for your use for the beach. The manager George was so helpful with anything we needed. The roof top pool deck was so wonderful. Again, great views, bar for your drinks and a bite to eat if you want any food. One of the best hotels during our stay in Greece.

The hotel is top notch. Unfortunately it is a forty-five minute drive from Heracklion, the heart of Crete. The hotel buffet breakfast by the pool deck was beautiful with a full view of the ocean. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. Since most of our excursions were to the east we would have preferred to stay on the east side of the island before going to our second destination of Chania on the farwest side of the island. Since the hotel is centrally located you need a car to go anywhere. We took a taxi down the hill to the seaside village for dinner two times. The hotel overall is a beautiful design, quiet and very relaxing. If you are use to going out at night to shop or just walk around like we did on the islands of Naxos and Paros, this location is not for you. There is nothing around but other hotels and houses.

This place was amazing. Our host explained that history behind our apartment style accommodations. At one time it was a cave and in the late 1980's renovations took place and the front living room and second floor bedroom and roof deck were added. The apartment had a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The views from both the lower and upper roof decks were amazing. Full view of the Caldera. Our location was in the middle of the village of Imerovigli which was quite and relaxing. Most of the tourist venture to Fira to the east and Oia to the west. This location was in between so it was quiet and not the throngs of tourist walking by. Our host cooked us breakfast every morning based on our likes. The food was fantastic. The location was an easy fifteen minute walk to Fira and other points of interest. A number of grocery stores and restaurants were less than a five minute walk away. Great accommodations, access and service. It was our best stay while in Greece.

Galaxy Hotel was our least favorite hotel during our trip to Greece. Rooms and bathrooms were extremely small but that is typical for Greece and most of Europe. The hotel has been renovated but they could have done a better job. The hotel shared a common pool and breakfast area with a newer hotel wing. We would have preferred to stay in the newer building. We had a lower floor (pool level) room and on the last morning a floor drain in the hallway overflowed and water came into our room. Things happen so we didn't make to much of a deal about it. Luckily we were leaving that morning and had everything packed. We only stayed two nights, we were comfortable but we would have preferred to stay somewhere else.

Senia hotel was in a great location. Easy to walk to the heart of Naoussa. Beach was just down the hill from the hotel. The main pool area overlooking the ocean was great. Wonderful views from our room and breakfast area. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. So nice to sit on the pool deck and eat breakfast with a great water view.

Hotel is in a great location. One block from Hadrian's Arch. Five minute walk to Platka and easy access to anywhere. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Our room had a mini kitchen which made is so convenient to cook or put together some food if we wanted to.

This was a long hot day. We loved Delos and Mykonos but an added reminder to bring food for the day would have helped. We didn’t realize lunch wasn’t on the itinerary until almost 2:00. The ferry was super efficient but I did not realize that would be our transportation. When I saw small group tour I thought it would be a small boat for just our group. We still had a lovely day and enjoyed learning the history.

Fun area that we would not have walked to without kim kim.

Our guide, Leo, was the best! So fun to hang out with and made for a great day! Definitely want to revisit Hydra another time!

This place was very nice. Our room had a hot tub which was not necessary. We did not use it. The views were not great. There was not a reception area in the hotel.

This hotel is spacious with beautiful rooms but is extremely far from the center town. However, we needed an elevator for one member of our party and those are not common in the area. The dinner was average.

This newer hotel had a great location and an elevator, which we had requested for a grandparent who couldn’t do stairs. the rooms were spacious with beautiful views

This hotel, although not in the heart of Old Town, was incredible/our favorite. We loved the rooms, the steam showers, views of the water, the restaurant, and most importantly—the staff! They were so personable and kind. I would definitely come back here!

Chania was amazing -beautiful old town charm, amazing food, central to beaches!

This was a lovely experience of cooking in the home of a very welcoming family and visiting the village. We all enjoyed the opportunity to cook a meal together, and my mom couldn’t stayed all day chopping vegetables!

A must-see in Greece!

Elisavet was awesome!! The food was incredible!! There were neverending stops: bread, olive oil tastings, souvlaki, loukamades, the fish and meat markets, an entire mezze at a Taverna and it just kept going ….wish i could’ve eaten more! i wasn’t sure initially to keep this in the itinerary but it really was my favorite tour!

Very kind guide, thoughtful to my mother who needed more time to walk. She was quite encouraging and my mom made it to the top of the Acropolis, which was her lifelong dream!!!

Theta Seaside Boutique Hotel, which had been newly remodeled with very spacious, modern rooms. It was an easy hotel to get to, and breakfast was served daily at a local waterfront restaurant with a beautiful view of the old wall and lighthouse—a serene and scenic way to start each day.

Kallisto Hotel, a stunning example of old-world elegance. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We especially loved the pool and lounge area, which offered unforgettable views of the caldera—an ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel’s central location made it easy to reach everything we wanted to see and do.

Next, we traveled to Milos, where we stayed at the stunning Artemis Seaside Resort—a beautiful hotel and spa that offered the perfect place to unwind. The pool area was gorgeous, with plenty of comfortable lounge seating, and the beachfront was equally well-appointed with loungers and attentive poolside and beach waitstaff. It was the ideal spot to relax and recharge, and we looked forward to the daily breakfast buffet, which offered a wide selection of fresh, tasty options.

Our journey began in Athens, where we stayed at 18 Micon Street Hotel. The hotel was in a wonderful location, within easy walking distance to many of the city’s top sights, local restaurants, and great shopping. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and the hospitality from all the staff was warm and welcoming—making us feel right at home.

A major highlight was a private tour of the Acropolis with Elena, a passionate and knowledgeable guide who brought the ancient ruins vividly to life. Her storytelling and insights gave us a deep appreciation for the rich history of the area.

One of the best experiences here was a semi-private sailing cruise with Trinity Yachting around the island. The views were breathtaking, and we were served a fresh, traditional Greek breakfast and lunch while soaking in the scenery—crystal-clear water, sea caves, and hidden coves

We embarked on a private winery tour with Yota, who taught us about the island’s unique winemaking process—including how vines grow in volcanic ash and stone. The tour was informative, engaging, and, of course, full of delicious tastings and small plates. Sunset spot was a nice ending.

The highlight of our time in Crete was a cooking experience in a traditional mountain village, guided by Alex. We were welcomed into a family home in the White Mountains, where we prepared a meal using fresh garden ingredients, paired it with local wines, and finished with a homemade dessert. The blend of history, storytelling, and hospitality made it truly unforgettable

Anna and Joanna made our stay so lovely. The Naxian Rhapsody villas are adjacent to the Naxian Utopia and both are owed by the same family - three sisters who represent the next generation in charge of the hotel. The hotel is outside of the village of Chora and a car is necessary if you don't want to be beholden to taxis, but we loved returning to our little oasis. Our villa was huge - two bedrooms and a large living space for our family of four. The sisters were able to provide great recommendations for beaches and restaurants and also helped us reserve a car for our time on the island.

Nicholas and his grandmother created a wonderful stay for us in Santorini. The room was lovely and accommodated our family of four. The balcony was perfect, creating some extra space for us all to enjoy! It was a short 5-minute walk to the beach, ships, and restaurants. Being in Kamari was a great experience - we were able to rent a car easily through Nicholas at the front desk and drive to Fira (15 minutes) and Oia (20 minutes) to experience the larger villages and shopping, but come back to the less crowded side of the island for our evening.

We stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor and had a beautiful view of the acropolis from our balcony. The location was busy, which was perfect for us because we were able to walk to most every area we wanted to visit. If you prefer less hustle and bustle, you might not want to stay in the Plaka neighborhood. But once we walked through the hotel doors, we were in a quiet, cozy environment. The breakfast was lovely and we had an amazing stay.

Our entire family loved visiting George's farm! My kids are now obsessed with donkeys. It was nice to just hang out with his animals and not have too much other structure to it. The walk into Χαλκείο was really nice, and Iliana was really easy to talk to and full of information about the town. Lunch was delicious, with Iliana guiding us through the Naxos staples. One of my children has Celiac disease and everyone was lovely in accommodating for her. The mediterranean diet is quite Celiac friendly!

Hard to beat the view and location! There are so many restaurants and shopping nearby, it gave us the ability to explore readily. The area was busy with tourists, though, so keep that in mind if you want to stay in a less hot spot area. It was nice to step out of the room and have our table with an umbrella to sit out and enjoy the view of the ocean. The staff was also very accommodating. One member carried our heavy luggage up and down the steep stairs! The stairs are something to keep in mind, though, if you have trouble walking. Our group, with members ranging in age from 27 to 70, managed alright, but it took some time. The breakfast they deliver to your room was good, but it was one set option, the same each time. Overall, though, we had a great experience staying there.

Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean and the beach within a mere few paces of the hotel. It made it easy to go back and forth between relaxing by the pool, taking a dip, going to the beach, and going back to the hotel again. There's a lot of windsailing in the hotel right next to it, which makes it hard to swim in one section of the water, but the rest of it is up for grabs. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. The food and drinks were excellent, even though a bit pricey. The breakfast bar, however, was a stellar deal and offered many options. The hotel also helped organize and pick ups at the hotel we needed for transport.

The experience we had at this hotel was excellent! The attendants at the pool bar were readily available and kind. They helped suggest places to go on the island and were happy to chat. The hotel staff were also very helpful in organizing car pickups to the places we wanted to visit. The pool is small but relaxing. The cook offered authentic food, came out, and gave us a dessert specific to her home village! There are nearby restaurants and a beach we could walk to. I highly recommend the taverna Giannoulis.

Our driver and guide were excellent! She knew a great deal about the wines and locations. She also made everyone, including those like me with less knowledge of wine, feel comfortable. Any opinion on the taste was okay, and while she showed us the proper tasting technique, she said not to worry, and we didn't have to do it every time if we didn't wish to. It was great to learn about the history of wine making on the island, as well as how Santorini is unique.

Our flight was at 6:30am so we needed to end our trip at an airport hotel but the Sofitel did not disappoint. We got great massages at 6:30pm and relaxed in our room. for the evening. There was a mix up on room service and by the time we figured out dinner wasn't coming it is was too late to eat. The hotel compensated by making generous breakfast boxes for us for the airport in the morning-full of fruit, egg sandwiches and croissants. We fed a soccer team!

Sweet, sophisticated, quiet, accommodating and elegant. Ideal location. Extremely helpful and kind staff. Lovely and ample breakfast served every morning buffet style. Beautiful two story room with two balconies, a view of the harbor. Walk everywhere. Loved it!

This hotel was awful. It was like a woman's prison. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Where should I start? The music blaring into the room from the outdoor bar, the full sun beating down on the tiny patio, no cover, no shade, no respite possible from the sun and heat, full exposure. If the person in the room next door came out of their room at the same time one person would have to step back in their room because the doors are so close. The bathroom, the door opened in and hit the sink so you had to step into the bathroom and straddle the toilet to shut the door to get to the shower. No chair, no desk, no bedspreads just sheets. The room was about 15X15. It was pure awful. I was shocked that a hotel of this caliber even came up on the radar it was so far off the mark from San Salvatore and Lithies. Naxos is amazing and the experience there deserves much more. Chris seems to really like this hotel and said his clients do, too. Possibly they have other rooms that measure up.

Can I give it six stars? It hit ALL the buttons! View, location, staff, amenities. We didn't want to leave. Ever! It was the best thing about Santorini!

We stayed her one night after a day touring Knosses and the museum. It has a really good location and the room is big and very well laid out. This hotel was perfect for the short one night stay we had in Heraklion.

Oh my God! Stay here! An old monastery built on the harbor with views of the light house, sailboats coming and going, people walking and fishing, Sunrise and full moon! Could not be more romantic, you feel like you are dreaming! A lovely breakfast delivered to your patio at whatever hour you request. Quiet and serene. Beautifully furnished and very spacious. Heads up, if you want to use the kitchen you must pay a different rate. We eat a big meal at lunch and like to have a happy hour in our room or on our patio in the evening for our dinner but were not allowed to use kitchen due to some legislation and the rate we paid for room. This was a little disappointing because the patio was enormous and the view was spectacular. It was would have been really special to enjoy the delicious Greek wine, cheese and olives and recount our day enjoying the view and fragrant wall of Confederate Jasmine that was blooming on the patio. But, the town is right outside the door and there were many restaurant options. We thoroughly enjoyed The San Salvatore, it is quite an experience.

We arrived at this hotel after 30 hours of travel. Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. The room was subpar and a real disappointment for the first night a trip after a very long and tiring journey. It had me nervous about how the rest of the trip was going to be because I asked for four or five star hotels and the room on this one fell short. Quite. The view was a hubble of concrete construction across the street, the furniture looked like it was used. A rug that looked dirty but was probably just old and inexpensive. I din't want to walk on it barefoot. Just a real disappointment for the first night of a trip when you have so many months of planning and hours of travel. The location was good and the staff was very attentive but it is not luxurious, it's a three star. It will do. It not what I want.

Really fun morning. Lots of food, good guide. Enjoyed the different districts, the markets and the food we ate. Our group was small, just five so it was really easy to stick together and we had good conversation.

Long drive...I could have skipped Hydra but I think my sister really liked it. I would have preferred to stay in Nafplio and get on a boat or walk the three miles along the water to the sand beach. There wasn't anything to do in Hydra except shop for trinkets and the shopping in Nafplio is really good...

Wow! Amazing. Loved having Martina as our guide. She made the experience very special We were both blown away with the experience at Epidauarus. Our private Olive Oil tour was really special. Having the tour to ourselves was really cool and they lunch they served us was totally unexpected. We were so surprised when they gave us each a bottle of olive oil!

It was a really sweet day. We enjoyed the company and seeing another side to Naxos.

We had a charming guide but I was so upset over the hotel situation I couldn't enjoy our tour that evening. However, over the course of our five days in Naxos we did go back to several of the place she introduces us to.

Cancelled due to sandstorm

Our guide, Maria was very knowledgeable and energetic. She knows a lot about the wine and methods of growing grapes in Santorini. We enjoyed her discussion and learned a lot. The winery was beautiful. The food/farm part of the tour was kind of disappointing except that we got to visit with Maria and the other couple outside in a picnic setting which was very pleasant. We appreciated learning the farming techniques of Santorini. I think we all would have preferred a different menu which we all could have participated in making- some cheese, some good bread, olive oil and olives with some wine instead of making seven tomato recipes when tomatoes aren't even in season. Just my thought. The dishes were not flavorful and I would not make any of them again. I can't even remember what we ate except the tomato fritters and they were pretty tasteless. I would not recommend this tour.

Wow, Nico, our guide was amazing! He had so much personality and was so knowledgeable. He made this day.

This was an ok experience. We couldn't find the cultural art center so we ended up walking around and have a mediocre lunch. Very pretty town.

This wonderful museum and our great guide was very worth our time in Athens. Our 12-year-old grandson was fascinated.

It is lovely because of its location and the ease of getting to the airport. At this stage of the travel, it was small, out of town, and felt like (and is) an airport hotel.

Small room, but the best 'small room' hotel I have ever rented!

It is hard to beat the view, the smell of the jasmine on our private patio, and Guinness in the guest refrigerator! The breakfast was delicious.

Location was great. We were here only one night so I feel it is unfair to evaluate it.

Our captain was a pro! He knew where to go to get the best experience. He was very aware of all 17 people on board.

This is the event my sister and I will most likely, share the most! It was like visiting your grandma in rural Tennessee.

My sister was somewhat stressed because of the hotel accommodations and it impacted the food tour in a small way. The guide was delightful, full of enthusiasm and selected wonderful stops. We love the cheese in Greece!

Of the food tours we experienced, this was worth the time, but my least favorite. The wine tour was surprising because I have never seen vineyards like this; a true educational experience!

Our guide was exceptional. I knew nothing about the Minoan civilization.

This tour was excellent. Nico has a gift. He knew herbs. He is knowledgable about the ocean. He has a love of Greece that is infectious.

This group was quite large. It is hard to ask questions when there are 15+ people.

Our guide was excellent. The fish market was the biggest I have ever seen. We had a hard time meeting our guide. The location was somewhat foreign as Publix is a grocery store in the USA.
