There were many issues of miscommunication throughout the course of the trip.

Firstly, after waiting over half an hour for driver at El Chalten I called the service and person stated they were trying locate driver. After an hour we were on our way.

Since it was hour one way to town and a 120 USD fare. It was impracticle, if not impossible, to take meals anywhere else. Furthermore, there was only a set offering at meal. I felt that by adding the mandatory meal serivce the provider was attempting to present a different cost than we were actually going incur.

The tour of Palermo and Soho were not as advertised. One of the main reasons of this tour for taking this tour was to visit the Recoleta cemetery. We only were notified upon arrival very disappointing.

The beef and wine tasting Fogon Asodo carried an extra charge for wine.

Lastly, I do not remember the name a place the that hosted the Tango show. But food was AWFUL.

My wife I travel several months a year. This is first and last time using Kimkim.

Our Beautiful Patagonia adventure was outstanding from start to finish. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, perfectly balancing guided excursions with free time to explore. Every destination—Puerto Natales, and El Calafate—offered incredible scenery, excellent accommodations, and smooth logistics throughout. Though we didn't get to complete El Chaltén due to unexpected weather (wind) advisory, I'm sure it would have been just as well thought out.

The guided hikes in Torres del Paine were unforgettable, especially the trek to Mirador Base Las Torres and the French Valley. The Perito Moreno Glacier ice hike was another once-in-a-lifetime highlight. Each guide was knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing Patagonia’s beauty and culture. Our driver was also intregal though out our trip.

Jimena, Rae, Erin and the Dittmar Adventures team were exceptional—responsive, organized, and attentive to every detail. Thanks to them, our group of 13 had a seamless and truly memorable experience. Highly recommend this itinerary for anyone wanting to explore the best of Patagonia with expert local support.

The trip was AMAZING! Every tour was so well organized and all the guides worked so hard to make sure the guests were safe, informed, and entertained. Jesse did a great job planning everything and did all the thinking for us so all we had to do was enjoy!

Kimkim in general (Erin in particular) were extremely helpful in developing our Argentina Patagonia itinerary. They were very responsive, friendly, and professional. We made LOTS of changes along the way and they were always accommodating.
El Calafate was a good starting point for some glacier excursions. Estancia Cristina was a nice combo including a boat trip across Lake Argentina (some ice bergs along the way), a nice easy hike to view Upsala Glacier, and an unexpectedly good lunch for such a seemingly remote place.
Perito Moreno glacier is almost indescribable, a must see as photos don’t do it justice. Private guide there really is not necessary as the boardwalks are well marked. If I had it to do over, I’d add an excursion ONTO the glacier as we could see people doing.
Laguna de Los tres was our one long hike. This hike requires you to be in decent shape (13-15 miles, steep at end, 9 hr day). You don’t really NEED a guide as the trails are well marked, but I really enjoyed the day with Nicolas from Walk Patagonia. The info he provided on the geology, fauna and flora enriched the experience.
Ushuaia was very interesting to see. Because of arrival times and excursions, we had to squeeze in and rush through the Prison Museum - I would budget more time for that if I could. The trip down the Beagle Channel is a must-do. Piratour is the one company that allows you to land and walk on Martillo Island with the penguins. That was pretty incredible to see.
While Tierra del Fuego national Park was pretty, I must say it paled in comparison to what we had already seen to this point farther north and I’m not sure I would book that again. The “train at the end of the world“ I most definitely would not recommend unless you have small children. It was a slow moving “choo-choo“ that really did not provide much in the way of views, just a very touristy experience with high-pressure sales of photos of yourself. If I did it over, I would’ve used that time to perhaps get farther up into the national park on a hike, get something other than a drive up viewpoint type of experience.
Overall, I was very happy with this itinerary and my experience with KimKim and I plan to use them again with an upcoming anniversary trip with my wife.

Everything was very well planned and there were no hiccups. The accommodations were great and transportation was easy - we got from place to place with no issues. Nara and Rae were very responsive and made the trip stress free.

Marcela and the team of travel agents of Turismo Milodon were amazing. Always in communication with us and anticipating our needs trough out our travels. They answer all our questions promptly and even went out of their ways to help us get a hat that I left in a remote hotel.
We got all our tickets and vouchers few days in advance and all activities went very well.
We loved our time in the Chilean and Argentine Patagonia.

This trip was one of our best ever. The drivers were punctual 💯 % of the time. The guides Paulina, Daniela, Alejandro, Marcela, Valeria, Ana, Agustin all absolutely wonderful (especially Paulina!). Every hotel was comfortable and well located. Loved all the tours especially Perito Moreno, trekking El Pingo, the Estancia (Dario and Ana were great and the lunch was lovely). Jesse did an incredible job in making this trip flow smoothly and include so many beautiful sites. We loved the Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia and Buenos Aires was like visiting a European capital.

The Buenos Aires Walking Tour was a bit too long at four hours of continuous walking. The guide, Valeria, was wonderful, but the heat made it hard to enjoy. A break in the middle for lunch would have improved the experience.

The 4WD Excursion with Dinner was probably my least favorite part of the trip. The guide was nice, but the activity itself didn't feel as fantastic compared to others. It was a straightforward drive across the plain without much excitement.

Boat Trip to Glacier Grey

The boat rides on the trip, particularly to Glacier Grey, were wonderful. The experience was well organized, and the scenic views were simply breathtaking. I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the adventure.

I have never used a travel agency and I admit I was a bit nervous trusting KimKIm with all logistics (we have three kids, 14, 9, and 6 yo, and are pretty active when we travel). But pretty much all our expectations were exceeded! Erin was amazing at planning our trip and customizing it several times based on our preferences. And during the trip everybody was on time, easy to communicate, and please to be around, incl. Buenos Aires city tour, a day trip to a ranch, and a hike guide for our 10hr hike to Laguna de Los Tres. KimKim truly made this trip so enjoyable and easy. Thank you!

"Muy fuerte" doesn't even begin to describe the raw, untamed power of Patagonia. This land of colossal skies and jagged peaks seared itself into my soul, a visceral experience that transcended any travel brochure. Our journey was a symphony of contrasts: cozy refugios echoing with trekkers' tales, luxurious hotels offering respite from the elements, and glamping under a star-drenched canvas.

We traversed this breathtaking landscape by every means imaginable – soaring above it by plane, bumping along rugged roads in private transfers, skimming turquoise waters in zodiacs, swaying atop sure-footed horses, and, most intimately, conquering its trails on foot. Each mode of transport unveiled a new facet of Patagonia's grandeur.

The iconic "W" trek tested our limits, rewarding us with panoramas that defied description. We shared laughter and stories with fellow adventurers, forging bonds strengthened by shared awe. The culinary delights, paired with robust Chilean wines, fueled our bodies and spirits.

Walking on ancient glaciers felt like stepping into a frozen time capsule. We witnessed the "Patagonian Ice Dragon" – a aquatic insect that completes its entire life cycle within glaciers – and held our breath as an avalanche, a distant white thunder, reshaped the mountainside.

Yet, beyond the grand spectacles, it was the subtle, profound moments that truly captivated me. The vast, untainted skies stretching to infinity, the Milky Way ablaze with celestial fire, the quiet satisfaction of conquering challenging trails, and the sheer, sculptural magnificence of Torres del Paine’s granite towers – these were the memories etched deepest.

We didn't encounter a Mylodon, that elusive prehistoric giant, but the pull of Patagonia is undeniable. We'll surely be back!

A word of advice: Don't wait. Experience this wonder while your legs are strong and your spirit is ready to embrace the wild.

We had a wonderful trip to Chile. All the flight conne tions were seamless, pickups and transportation always on time, and very nice. We loved the red rocks tour and valley of the moon tours in Atacama. Shout out to Marta who was an outstanding first guide in Chile! The geyser tour a as fine but the 430 am pickup was too early for two vacationing families with teens especially since it was still dark when we got to the geysers so couldn't see a lot of detail. Pablo our driver in Puerto Natales was kind and welcoming. Paulina and Heme were patient guides with 4 middle aged Americans and 4 teens! We felt safe and well served and the view for the base of the Towers was amazing. Our teens saw a puma and the adults survived the walk. The glacier tour was wonderful and a nice down day between two active hiking days. Our rental house was amazing with outstanding views! We loved our time in Chile!

I thought that the planning of the trip and the excursions were excellent. I also felt that the itinerary provided was done very well and was very straightforward and structured.

I also enjoyed the hotel picks.

What I didn’t like was the lack of support I received when there were disruptions to my itinerary due to weather. The individual I had to deal with (Joaquin) was not helpful and was not willing to work with me to get things back on track. I found his communication to be rude and unprofessional - so much so that I had to escalate to get the support I needed.

Outstanding experience working with Erin and Nara to plan an extended several week trip to Patagonia - Chile and Argentina.
The Kim Kim team offered exceptional communication and responsiveness in addition to detailed local knowledge regarding travel destinations and experience excursions.
They offered several suggestions that aligned with the interests that we expressed.
All details regarding numerous location transfers, local guide service and transportation were very well planned by Erin and Nara.
Great recommendations for local things to do at each stop along with great restaurant suggestions.
Very responsive support for questions that we had while in Patagonia on travel.
Overall, a great travel experience thanks to the efforts of the Kim Kim team we worked with.

The Hosteria Senderos was a wonderful Inn. The food was amazing. Design Suites in Calafate is beautiful with great views and rooms, however the dinner we had there was poor at best. The breakfast bar was good. We did find an excellent Restaurant, Morrison, and ate there twice. The W Trek was fun. The food was decent and we had good weather. Overall things were smooth and we enjoyed it. Thanks Erin and Nora.

It was a very well planned trip by Erin to southern and central Chile. She was able to accommodate changes in our plans and was able to customize the trip based on what we wanted to do. She was very responsive and super helpful throughout the entire process. Nara made sure we didn't have any hiccups during our travel. She was able to help out with minor requests on a day-to-day basis and was super helpful too. The hotels that Erin selected for us were nice and conveniently located. Overall, it was a well planned trip by the team and they made sure it went hassle free and made extra efforts to help out whenever possible.
