After a transfer south from Chania, you'll head to the harbor, meet your expert skipper, and step aboard a small, RIB-style skiff. Cruise along the rugged coastline to remote beauty spots accessible only by boat, relaxing on the white pebbles of Glyka Nera (known for its pristine waters), and swimming in the clear waters off Marmara Beach (a tiny crescent surrounded by sea caves and marble cliffs). What you'll do

Your beach-hopping adventure begins in the morning, when you meet your private driver in Chania and set off on a scenic, 1.5-hour road trip to Crete's southwestern coast. Your destination is Chora Sfakia, a small, authentic fishing village nestled where the Lefka Ori (White Mountains) meet the Libyan Sea. Head to the dock, meet your expert skipper, and step aboard your boat, a small, RIB-style motorized skiff that holds up to eight passengers.

As you make your way westward along the coast, your skipper will guide you to some of the region's most magnificent beaches, some reachable only by boat. Standout stops include Glyka Nera, a crescent of white pebbles set at the foot of dramatic cliffs, and the tiny Marmara Beach, nestled in a sheltered cove dotted with sea caves and marble outcroppings that serve as perfect diving boards. Spend as much time as you like at each stop, and choose where and when to pause for a dip along the way (Crete's southern coast is famed for its exceptionally clear, warm waters, perfect for swimming).

Eventually, you'll cruise into the harbor at Loutra, a picturesque white fishing village accessible only on foot or by boat. Here you can spend some time exploring the village and its nearby hiking trails, or do some more sunbathing and swimming at its quiet pebble beach. Wrap up with a leisurely traditional lunch at one of the village's charming tavernas, and enjoy the views on the cruise back to Chora Sfakia. When you step ashore, your driver will be waiting to take you back to Chania in time for dinner.
