Old Town Evening Walk & Optional Dinner, Rhodes

Enjoy an evening walking tour through the medieval center of Rhodes, followed by a delicious dinner. Your private guide will transfer you to the Old Town and lead you through St. John’s Gate, also known as the Red Gate. As you stroll along the stone streets, you'll learn about the city's history, the details of its atmospheric alleys, and the historical role played by the Knights of Rhodes.

First, make your way to the impressive Palace of the Grand Master, also known as Kastello. Restored in 1930, the stately building houses a museum featuring mosaics and architectural exhibits from around Rhodes. Next, continue downhill toward the Street of the Knights (La Via dei Cavalieri). This completely restored passage pays homage to the town's medieval heritage. You may feel like you've stepped back in time as you learn how warriors spent their days.

Enjoy some free time to explore the Old Town on your own, perusing shops and finding souvenirs or traditional Greek goods to take home with you. Then, meet your guide at a local restaurant to savor an optional traditional dinner of regional delicacies and local wine. The tour ends in the New Town at Mandraki Old Port.
