Overview

Enjoy a driving tour along the Amalfi Coast, visiting the charming towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. As one of the most beautiful coastal landscapes in the world, there’s much to see and admire in this renowned region. 

Your first stop is Positano, one of Italy’s most popular tourist destinations, thanks to its mild climate, beautiful landscapes, and exceptional beaches. Visitors have flocked to Positano since the period of the Roman Empire! Nowadays, the village combines natural scenery, idyllic streets, and famous fashion with its Moda Positano. Take some time to discover the town’s artistic inspirations and cobbled streets covered by bougainvillea flowers. 

Next, make your way along the twisting roads and shores of the Amalfi Coast to the Ancient Maritime Republic of Amalfi, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way to Amalfi, pass through the beautiful villages of Praiano, Furore, and Conca dei Marini. Enjoy some free time to discover the local crafts known to the region, such as hand-made paper. You can also visit the hilltop Cathedral of Sant’ Andrea, the main square, the historic city center, and the stunning abbeys. 

Before heading back, stop in Ravello, where you can visit the ornate Villa Rufolo. As a favorite destination amongst musicians, artists, and poets, Boccaccio and Richard Wagner praised the villa in their famous verses. Don’t miss the magical panoramic terrace with fantastic views, nor the gardens!

Because we fit the hike in, things got quite late in the day, and by the time we got to Ravello, everything was closed. The weather was gorgeous during our hike and by the time we were leaving Positano, it started to rain and the visibility fell. We're so grateful that Giuseppe drove us safely throughout our tour, because the road is curvy to say the least. He was also extremely... Read more

He was also extremely knowledgeable about farming in the region, which we appreciated.
