Cooking Workshop in Mallorca’s Pla Region, Mallorca

Overview

Head inland to Mallorca's agricultural region, called Pla, and experience an atmosphere of calm with fields scattered with the island's characteristic windmills. This area's abundance of quality produce gave it the nickname "the pantry" of Palma de Mallorca

In the comfort of your host's home, you'll start this cooking workshop with a welcome appetizer, trying some typical island products such as sobrassada sausage, cheese, almonds, olives, and honey. Then, start polishing your cooking skills as your host helps you create an entire 3-course meal. The dishes feature recipes given to the chef by her grandmother. During the experience, you'll take a trip back in time, listening to the stories of the old days on Mallorca and what life was like in the villages of Pla.

In Spain, no meal is complete without wine! So, after finishing cooking, you can enjoy your incredible meal accompanied by some local wine, coffee, and digestives.
