Your adventure starts as you board a fishing boat and set off into the waters near Chania. On the way out, you'll have the chance to chat with your experienced crew, locals whose families have been fishing in these waters for generations. They'll share their local knowledge and give you a rundown of what to expect during the trip. Depending on the season, weather conditions, and the ages of your group, your skipper will choose the prime spots to drop anchor, and you'll throw in a line and start fishing.

Try your hand at different techniques like jigging, spinning, and bottom fishing, and learn about the species that frequent the Cretan waters, including snappers, groupers, and squids. You'll be provided with all the fishing equipment you need, so all you need to bring is your excitement and willingness to learn. During the summer season, you can combine fishing stops with swimming, heading to sheltered coves to dive into the clear, warm waters.
