Day Trip & Traditional Meal in Šibenik, Šibenik
Overview
One of the biggest highlights of Šibenik is its abundance of historical sites. You can visit the 16th-century island fortress St. Nicholas’ Fortress, only accessible by boat, plus the hilltop St. Michael's Fortress overlooking the sea. Other castles offering panoramic views include St. John's Fort and Barone Fortress. And no trip to the city is complete without scouring the stone facade of the Gothic-Renaissance cathedral, featuring over 70 sculpted heads.
On the way back to Split, you'll stop at a local restaurant for a traditional Croatian meal.
