Explore the Northwest Villages, Mallorca

Overview

Discover Mallorca's northwest highlights, which include the quaint villages of Valldemossa, Deiá, and Sóller.

You'll start with Valldemossa, one of the most picturesque places on the island and surrounded by high mountain peaks. Opt for a stop at the Royal Cartuja, an ancient monastery where the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and French writer George Sand lived.

After visiting Valldemossa, head to the viewpoint of Na Foradada to enjoy one of the best views on the Northwest coast of Mallorca. Then, cross a spectacular valley to reach Deiá, a charming town with the towering mountains of the Serra de Tramontana as its backdrop.

Continue along a beautiful winding coastal road to the Sóller Valley, which sits amidst the magnificent Tramontana Mountain range. The valley has several ancient villages, plus idyllic olive, orange, and lemon groves. Head to Port Sóller, a harbor with narrow streets and colorful houses.

End the tour with a gourmet lunch, where you can taste the rich local gastronomy of the area and the area's famed wines.
