Settle into a cozy Inverness pub for a rousing evening of Scottish music, storytelling, and whisky. Hosted by a renowned local musician, you'll be led through 1.5 hours of toe-tapping folk tunes, rollicking traditional tales, and the beauty of the ancient Gàidhlig language—all accompanied by a tasting of five drams of malt whisky from the finest regional distilleries.

This intimate 1.5-hour experience begins when you make your way to MacGregor's, a traditional pub in Old Town Inverness. Step inside, head to an inviting back room (lit by candlelight and warmed by an open fireplace), and take a seat at a table shared with a convivial group of 3-4 other guests. Then it's time to settle in for an evening of live traditional music and stories by a well-known member of Scotland's folk scene, specializing in either voice, accordion, fiddle, or guitar.

As you listen to transporting stories of Highland life and get carried away by rousing performances of traditional songs, you'll sip a series of five malt whiskies, each from a renowned regional distillery like Glenmorangie, Dalwhinnie, Balblair, or Clynelish. By the end of the evening, you'll feel fully immersed in the culture and "crack" of the Highlands—and might even want to stick around at the pub afterward for another dram or two (not included).
