Off-the-Beaten-Path Island Hike, Mykonos

Start your morning with a transfer to the Mykonos Vioma vineyard and organic farm, where you'll meet your local guides. This circular hike starts from Maou, the island's farming region, and follows the meandering, vehicle-free donkey paths that wind through the charming countryside for about 4 miles (6 km).

During the hike, you'll visit a traditional Mykonian church, where your guide will share their insights into the religious traditions of the locals. Once you reach Merchia Beach, take a well-deserved break and soak up the coastal scenery surrounding you. Here, you can relish the refreshing taste of organic lemonade and savor a traditional dessert that your guide will serve. You'll also have plenty of time to cool off with a swim and capture some memories with an underwater photo shoot guided by your expert.

After your break, you'll continue your hike with a gentle climb through the hills with Merchia Beach in the background. As you return to the fertile valley of Ano Mera, the path takes you past isolated fields and dry-stone walls, showcasing the landscape's rugged beauty. If you've worked up an appetite as you loop back toward the vineyard, you can opt to stick around for a meze lunch or a wine tasting (not included), or spend some time getting to know the friendly farm animals before transferring back to your hotel.
