What you'll do

Ibiza and Formentera are small islands perfect for a boat excursion. Of all the Balearic Islands, these two have some of the most beautiful beaches and coves with dramatic sea cliffs and transparent waters. With the help of your captain, you'll create a day that centers around your interests, sailing to beautiful coves to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and/or beachcombing.

To start, you'll want to decide whether you'd like to sail around Ibiza or Formentera or combine a little of both. Then, your hosts can help you decide what to do. Some options include the following:
  • Sail around the scenic Punta des Jondal, a beautiful peninsula with rocky cliffs, mysterious caves, and archaeological ruins.
  • Drop anchor at Cala Pluma, an ideal spot for snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, and hiking. From here, you can easily walk to the historic Sa Canal or visit the ruins and unique rock formations at Es Pouet de sa Trinxa.
  • Head south to the island of Formentera and explore some of its incredible beaches, such as the long and narrow white-sand Platja de Ses Illetes or Platja de Llevant.
  • Snorkel and explore Formentera's coves and caves, such as the idyllic Cala en Baster or the seacliffs at Punta de Sa Pedrera.
  • Sail around the Isla de es Vedranell, known for its Es Vedrà Wildlife Refuge—the nearby Cap Blanc is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, especially from the Mirador des Vedrà.
  • Hang out at Cala d'Hort, a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling, plus a great place to grab lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants.
  • Swim in one of the artificial pools at Sa Pedrera de Cala D'Hort, home to a former quarry and hiking trails.
Regardless of what you choose to do, you'll surely enjoy a unique experience bonding with nature while sailing with family and friends. One thing that all tours include is watching the sunset from the sea. Whether you'd prefer a relaxing or calm experience on the sea or a fun-filled excursion, a private sailboat is a great way to enjoy Ibiza's coastline.
