Hit the water for a scenic 2.5-hour paddle along the southwestern coast of Santorini. With the help of an expert guide and comfortable tandem kayaks, you'll seek out hidden beaches, sheltered coves, and some of the island's most dramatic volcanic scenery—including the colorful cliffs and sands of Red Beach. Stop for snorkeling and swimming in the clear waters, keep an eye out for local wildlife like grazing goats and dolphin pods, and stop to refuel with a light picnic of local delicacies and fresh fruit.

What you'll do

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel, and meet your expert guide and the rest of your small group at the launch point. After a quick briefing, you're ready to grab a paddle and step into your tandem kayak for a 2.5-hour adventure along Santorini's rugged southwestern coast. Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to stop and explore hidden beauty spots like Kambia Beach and dive into the crystal-clear waters for a spot of snorkeling.

Your route will skirt some of the island's most dramatic coastal landscapes, and you'll get an up-close look at the dark volcanic cliffs of Red Beach and paddle around the remarkable rock formations of White Beach. After working up an appetite, break for a light homemade picnic on a sheltered beach, sampling a selection of fresh fruit and local treats. Keep your eyes peeled on the return journey to spot goats grazing on the cliffsides, dolphin pods frolicking in the waves, or even a rare monk seal sunning itself on the rocks. Back on dry land, you'll say your goodbyes and transfer back to your hotel.
