What you'll do

Set in downtown Rome, your cooking experience begins with a welcome introduction to your host and chef before sidling up to your station and donning your apron for a hands-on journey into Italian cooking. The class starts with a group activity focused on tiramisu, Italy's beloved creamy dessert. Using fresh ingredients and classic layering techniques, you'll build your own tiramisu from scratch—then set it aside to chill while you move on to the main event.

Next, you'll step into the world of pasta-making. Your chef will demonstrate how to transform simple staples—flour and eggs—into silky, elastic dough. You'll knead, roll, and cut your pasta by hand, learning how to create the iconic fettuccine ribbons that define Roman home cooking. Along the way, your chef will share tips, traditions, and personal stories that bring Italian cuisine to life.

Once the pasta is ready, you'll choose your preferred sauce: classic tomato and basil, hearty amatriciana (savory tomato and pork-based sauce), or light cacio e pepe (a cheese and coarse black pepper emulsified sauce). This was fun! If you already know alot about cooking and baking, you might be a tad disappointed but all in all it was a fun experience.
