What you'll do

Mykonos is well-known for its nightlife, but it also offers luxurious amenities, historical landmarks, delicious food, stunning beaches, and exclusive excursions. You'll learn about them all on this excursion through the city's historic core with the lead of a local guide.

Start by exploring Little Venice, the iconic district of Mykonos. This picturesque seaside area earned its name from the beautiful 18th-century Venetian-style buildings near the ocean, with balconies overlooking the water. Take in the stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the windmills on the hill. From here, make your way to the 16th-century Boni Windmill, which is located on the edge of the town. It's the perfect place to take a few photos and appreciate the beauty of Mykonos.

Continue to Panagia Paraportiani, the monumental church of Mykonos. This church is a symbol of the island, and its bell towers and blue domes make it a sight to behold. Next, you'll head to the Old Port. Here you can stroll along the waterfront and admire the boats and ships as they come and go. It's also a great place to grab a bite and take in the local culture.

Your local guide will then make his way to Mantogianni Street, a narrow cobblestone street full of vibrant shops and restaurants. Take a few photo stops along the way and try some delicious Greek cuisines.

Your final stop is the one and only Catholic Church of Mykonos. This beautiful structure is a great spot to take in the architecture and appreciate the island's religious history. At the end of this activity, you'll have a better understanding of the ins and outs of Mykonos, as well as where to go if you want to explore more of the island.
