Taste your way through the vineyards of Santorini on this half-day wine adventure. It starts with a pickup at your accommodations; then, you'll set off in a comfortable van with the rest of your small group. Admire the island's rural landscapes as you make your way to the first of three wineries, ranging from underground cave cellars to family-run estates. At each, you'll learn more about Santorini's winemaking traditions, dating back over 3,500 years, and discover the indigenous grape varietals that thrive in the rich volcanic soils.

As you stroll through vineyards and browse traditional cellars, your expert wine guide will explain the island's unique viticulture practices, and and you'll see how vines are grown using the kouloura (basket) method. Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to taste 12 different wines, including those made with the island's most famous assyrtiko, nykteri, and vinsanto grapes. Each tasting will be paired with local cheeses and snacks, carefully chosen to complement the accompanying wines. You might even want to grab a few bottles of your favorites before you hop back in the van for the return drive.
