Special and memorable day with our private guide through my grandfather's village, Scala Coeli in Calabria. It was an emotional experience seeing original documents of my ancestors and walking the streets they had once walked. I had no idea how beautiful it was there! We then had a delectable lunch at a seaside resort with the best seafood I have ever had! My Mom and I will never forget this day!

While the Palmares Signature Suites offered spacious accommodations with wonderful views and good food, we faced multiple challenges. The directions to the property were unclear, leading to frustration, especially since we arrived at night. Additionally, we had issues with a leaking room, requiring us to move rooms multiple times. Overall, it was a beautiful place with shortcomings in communication and maintenance.

Our Private Day Excursion to Sintra, Cascais & Estoril was a standout experience. The guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable, making the tour enjoyable and informative. Despite missing a planned activity due to circumstances beyond our control, we had a great time exploring the area and learning from the guide’s insights. It was a positive highlight of our trip.

Really beautiful apartment with plenty of amenities. The only thing that took away from this place was that they are building a metro station right outside and they were doing construction around 6 am every morning besides the weekend.

This was a great location. We could get to every place within 15-20 minutes of walking.

Cozy and close to the airport which is what we needed for our quick stay.

The most surprising tour for me. I didn’t know about the catacombs and it was such an interesting tour.

One of the most impressive tours we did in all of Italy. It is truly incredible how big the colosseum is. The ancient city was also a great addition to this tour.

This was another tour that could have easily been a whole day. There were so many pieces to see and there were rooms upon rooms of amazing artwork.

I wish we had more time on this tour. It was so good and there are so many things to see.

Such a fun trip. One of my family’s favorites. We had two stops which was plenty. We learned a lot about the vineyards and sampled so many types of wines.

It was worth the trip but it is about two hours away. We felt a little pressed for time in each town. I think it would be better if we only visited two places instead of three

This was so much fun. We enjoyed a catamaran with just 13 guests and 6 crew members. The vista was beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent (I even tried the sardines). And the staff was extremely accommodating and fun.

Highly Recommended Great Guide Fascinating information Well organized SMALL GROUP - this was a huge benefit. We saw large groups parading down the streets behind a guide with an high-flying flag. No thank you. In small group tours, one gets to meet and enjoy others in the group. In small groups you can hear the guide and ask questions as they arise. It was all very enjoyable.

The staff was kind and helpful in helping me plan routes to walking excursions that I did on my own. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and served amazing food.

It was wonderful to go back in history to the places where Portugal started. We explored, beautiful cathedrals, castles, and other import important historical sites.

Raquel, was a perfect tour guide for me and I had her all to myself. She took me to so many hidden secrets that I never would’ve found on my own. She knew that I loved history and culture, so she took me to places he knew that would be of interest to me.

This was a fabulous tour with a great guide who loved this area, because he enjoyed surfing here. He knew a lot of people and even introduced me to a man in his 80s who used to run the lighthouse at the most southwestern point in Europe.

It was wonderful to visit all of these small towns that were so important to the fishing industry and tourism industry in the Algarve.

The title of this adventure is a little misleading, because there was no barbecue, but it was still a phenomenal journey. I met some wonderful people on the catamaran ride to the Bengali caves.

Being a jeep owner myself, I loved this small group trip into the heart of the Algarve. Upward driver stopped at at least a dozen times to pick leads from plants along the way and help us learn how to identify them.

Once again, I had a wonderful female tour guide to myself. We took a deep ride through the acres of olive trees, vineyards and finally ended in the beautiful court forest where we even saw some albino deer.

I had my personal guide to myself all day. She knew that I had taught ancient civilizations, so she was ready to answer my questions and even learned a few things from me, I think! She had lived in Evora, her whole life, so she knew the people and the places we visited extremely well.

Having taught about knights and castles, this tour was like a living textbook. I couldn’t believe I was seeing things that I had taught about for so many years.

Going to Sintra was like walking into a fairy tale, and our guide was so knowledgeable about the area, because he was born and raised here. I met three wonderful young ladies from Belgium and one from Australia that assisted me on the steep hills and stairways. We had a lot of fun together!

This was my first tour and an awesome way to be able to meet a few people and get appetizer-sized tastes of great Portugal foods and wines. It helped me make decisions about what to order for the rest of the trip.

Like new hotel in the best location in Sorrento. Spacious, comfortable, and the best shower anywhere. Very helpful and informed staff. Don't miss this superb accommodation.

This experience did not go as we expected. The guide seemed unprepared and did not provide any information about the foods we were eating. It did not seem like she had planned ahead and coordinated with the cafe. The cafe seemed to be chosen on the spot. The food was good, but overall the experience was disappointing.

Antonio provided interesting facts during our drive. The landscape along the Amalfi Coast is amazing!!

We had an awesome day! Do not miss the chairlift - it is totally worth it!!
