Adventure in the Algarve - 7 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Lagos or Carvoeiro - Stay in a 4* or 5* Resort

Welcome to Portugal! Arrive in the Faro Airport, located on the shores of the Ria Formosa Lagoons, one of Portugal's top natural wonders. You will be met by a private driver, who will transfer you to your accommodation. Choose between the 4-star Tivoli Lagos in the charming village of Lagos, located an hour away, or the 5-star Tivoli Carvoeiro, located in Carvoeiro on the Vale Covo cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean. 

Day 2: Sailing to "Cabo São Vicente" & Water Activities

Head out for a day on the water with a sailing adventure to Sagres. Enjoy views of the coastline and the Cabo São Vicente—the western-most point of Europe. Explore hidden beaches and coves, try paddle boarding or snorkeling, or simply relax on the deck.

Keep an eye out for wild dolphins as you enjoy the sunset. Savor an authentic Portuguese dinner prepared by a private chef before falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean in your comfortable and private cabin. 

Day 3: Historical Pousada & Off-Road Sunset Jeep Safari

Awake to the sound of waves and seabirds and enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the morning sunshine. Reach Cabo de São Vicente by midmorning and depart from the ship to check in at the Pousada de Sagres, a luxurious resort located 5 minutes from the beach. 

In the afternoon hop aboard an off-road Jeep safari and explore the hidden coves of the stunning west coast. Choose a breathtaking ocean view for the perfect picnic dinner as you enjoy a dazzling sunset. 

Day 4: Horse Riding in a Natural Park or Surf Lessons

Spend the day on horseback as you venture deep into the pristine Natural Park of São Vicente. Learn about the 750 species of local plants and animals, many of which are unique to this part of the world. Spot rare wildlife such as the Peregrine Falcon and the Alpine Swift and enjoy the warm sunshine and ocean breezes. 

Your afternoon is free. Explore beaches and cliffs, or get a rush of adrenaline with a surfing lesson. 

Day 5: Fishing Experience & Wildlife Walk in Figueira

Try your hand at fishing as the locals do. Meet your boat in the Baleeira harbor and spend the day learning about the Portuguese fishing traditions. This is a perfect activity for the whole family, and young kids and young-at-heart will enjoy hooking fish on a hand line. For lunch, bring your catch to a local restaurant and enjoy the freshest fish around. 

In the afternoon, head to the traditional village of Figueira for a casual stroll along its quirky cobbled streets. Enjoy an afternoon hike in the pine forests just outside of the village, and finish your day with a visit to the secluded sandy beach of Praia da Figueira. 

Day 6: Rock-Climbing & Dinosaur Footprints in Salema

In the morning join a 2-hour private rock climbing lesson in one of the most scenic climbing areas in Portugal. Beginners and intermediate climbers alike will enjoy learning on world-class rock. The area's azure ocean, fresh salty air, and warm Mediterranean sunshine draw visitors worldwide. 

After refreshing with lunch at an open-air cafe explore the medieval village of Salema where locals still follow traditional lifestyles. Head outside of the village to see fossilized dinosaur footprints before returning to the village for dinner. 

Day 7: Departure

Time to say goodbye to the beautiful beaches and unforgettable hospitality of Algarve. Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Safe travels!
