Bruno was amazing in helping me plan the trip with quick responses and timely suggestions. The whole tour was quite smooth and very enjoyable. All of the hotels booked were in excellent locations - near all the major sights so it was convenient to explore on our own. Overall it was a great trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Croatia and Bosnia&Herzegovina. Hope to visit again someday and explore more places.

Stress free travel to a magical country! Bruno was most accommodating and Although we were not as responsive as he would have liked in planning, he was always gracious . The guides were top notch; with private tours in all 4 cities. All connections were A+. Our Hotels were mixed. The Dubovnik and Split stays were 4 star as expected with delicious breakfasts. Our hotel in Hvar was a spluge 5 starPalace Elizabeth, pure heavenn! The planned hotel in Kortula was closed at the last minute and the replacement offered had sad odd dark rooms with no amenities and slim breakfast . The town is a gem, so we were glad we made it. Will recommend Bruno and KimKim to our friends.

We were so impressed with the detailed organization of our trip and giving attention to our likes and desires with planned side excursions. Nikola kept in touch with us daily and all transfers, ticketing, tours were seamless and on time. It’s hard to choose one thing as outstanding but Plitvice Lakes was magical. Kortula our favorite destination and all tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. What a clean and beautiful country.

This was the first trip my wife & I were too busy to plan. We took a leap of faith and were fortunate to be connected with Robi. My advice is to be as open and transparent with your trip specialist as possible. We shared our wish list, must haves, activities and interests with Robi and then worked towards crafting a few plans. When we finalized our trip plan there was still a level of unknown for us…will there be someone at the airport to pick us up or did we just get scammed.

The level of attention, detail and time saving efforts that Robi provided was invaluable! He provided drop pins for parking in various cities, tips on when we should arrive at our locations or activity for the day. Trust me, this was world class service! Yes, a few mornings we were questioning waking up so early to arrive somewhere by 8am, but when we finished and saw the crowds of people arriving it made sense and saved time!

Robi seems to have connections and friends in every city of Croatia. That should not be unvalued! It’s like visiting a friend in a city that you’ve never been and they’re proud of what their city has to offer and pulls out all the stops! There were a few times when weather forced us to pivot a bit on or the day before. Blue caves as an example need perfect water conditions because the cave entrance…Robi was monitoring conditions and WhatsApp’d new options immediately. If you’re a person that isn’t comfortable pivoting or being flexible then maybe you would struggle. Trust Robi! He’s going to find those hidden gems, those magic moments that you’ll remember for years!

One of our favorite days was spending the day on Vis. Robi arranged a private boat to shuttle us from Split. We elected to do what he referred to as the military jeep tour. I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect based on the info. This was more than a jeep tour! We met up with Marko our private guide and driver on Vis. We hoped in his Land Rover and set off. Marko is a wealth of knowledge but you have to show interest and be open and provide feedback. He took us to a Cold War military base which has tunnels all through the island. He walked us through several tunnels and shared so much history about the base as well as the critical importance of Vis due to its location in the Adriatic Sea. Marko drove us to different view points to see wineries growing at 70 degree angles on cliff sides…old military airfields and more. We also decided to enjoy a private wine tasting at one of the local wineries. I would strongly suggest you sign up for this tour! I also suggested to Robi he explain to potential clients this is an island tour in a Land Rover, part of the tour includes a Cold War base, military airfield, and wineries. Truly an unforgettable experience and Marko was worth the price of admission!

Without Robi there would’ve been no way we could’ve researched, plan and accomplished what he was able to do for us! It felt like 6 different trips in the best way! Robi cares so much about every detail so you don’t need to! He genuinely is setting the standard for a world class travel guide!

Bruno did a great job organizing the trip and always sending daily reminders and updates and being available by text or phone for any real-time issues.

With only a month’s notice, Bruno planned and executed a fantastic trip to Croatia/ Slovenia for me and my wife. We were in Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb, and a day trip to Slovenia. We also had some special requests that he was more than willing to put in place even after he planned our itinerary. He was there every step of the way to keep us informed of changes due to weather , or just to give us a preview of the next day. Bruno was also our guide in Zagreb and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide to the city.

Overall, it was an excellent trip and Bruno was superb!

KimKim connected me with a local Croatian company and I couldn’t be more pleased. I corresponded by email/chat and Robi created a custom trip for me and my husband that exceeded our expectations and fit into our budget. It was the perfect blend of self-guided which we wanted and some guided days with Robi. Robi was always available and patient with my questions. Updated us daily with details about next day itinerary. We actually enjoyed our three days guided by Robi the best. We had two days of cycling and one day of hiking with him. He treated us like family and let us choose exactly what we wanted, being flexible according to the weather and our needs/desires. He also was a lot of fun to be with and shared our love of the outdoors and beautiful places. Because he is a true local, he knew all the best places to go and how to avoid crowds which we fully appreciated. It was hard to say goodbye! We highly recommend KimKim and Robi!

Our family had a wonderful trip to Croatia. It is such a beautiful and interesting country. Our guide Bruno was excellent.
He helped us organize the itinerary, which included both history and nature. While we were in the country, he was in touch with us every day to see how we were doing and to advise us about the schedule for the next day. We were able to modify some parts of our schedule as required, which was very helpful. We would highly recommend this trip and our guide!

This trip was one for the books! Words cannot even describe how great Croatia was. Bruno - what a guy! he did an amazing job catering the trip to exactly what we wanted - he was on overall amazing guide. He checked in with us every single day and that really reassured us in navigating a new country. Mario/Matej were so kind, we spent the day with Mario and I really felt like he was a friend of mine. The cooking class and walking tour in Split were experiences we will never forget. All in all - this was a perfectly planned trip. The airline lost our bags on the way in and Bruno even helped us track them down! I am still in awe of how great this trip was.

My wife and I just returned from a self drive trip to Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia. We worked with Nikola and could not have had a more pleasant experience. He crafted our trip exactly to our interests. He is super patient, because I made many changes along the way. He is from Croatia, and is an expert. During our trip he kept up with me everyday via WhatsApp and was available to us the entire way. He responded promptly via WhatsApp to the few questions I had along the way. His choice of hotels were fantastic, and the order in which he booked our trip provided for the most time in each city. ‘Also, he sent me an APP for my phone prior to departure which detailed our trip, and sights along the drive that we could stop to visit if we wanted. It covered every detail, even how to park at each hotel. We literally felt as if he were with us the entire trip. Having his help immediately along the way, if needed, was priceless. We do not like group tours, so this option is the best for us. This is our 3rd KimKim trip, and I no longer try to plan independent trips myself anymore. I will only use KimKim as they vet out local agencies who are superb in their product. ‘Thank you Nikola. We will speak again when we return to the Balkans.

Loved, loved, loved the trip Marija planned for us. We felt well taken care of each step of the way. Marija arranged for transportation and tours in Hvar and Split and through the Peljesac Pennisula and Cavtat. The hotels she selected were charming and centrally located so we could easily walk to restaurants and local attractions. She arranged a birthday dinner for my husband in Hvar, and the restaurant treated us like a queen and king. We so enjoyed biking around the back side of the island of Hvar where we were free to explore in an unhurried way yet always having local support just a phone call away.

All of our drivers and tour guides were also well versed in the history of this wonderful country -- especially Ivana who showered us with history and antidotes of Split and all of Croatia. Ivana was a powerhouse of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm for her country.

Marija planned the perfect holiday for us -- especially given that we had just spent the previous seven days in busy Dubrovnik with our family. Her thoughtful selections of food, tours, and transportation times allowed us to relax as well as take in the best that these areas offer. Thank you, Marija!

I am just returning from a ten day trip to Croatia with nine amazing women and a top notch tour leader, Antonia.
Antonia listened to all our wishes for this journey and went over and above to make sure we each had something from our list on our trip. She provided us with private transfer to and from the airport . Our accommodations at the Boutique Hotels were all beautiful, the restaurants she had made reservations at were wonderful and included local dishes that were so yummy! We traveled in a spacious, comfortable, clean, air conditioned private vehicle that transported us down the coast from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. We had a private walking tour with another of Antonia's guides through the enchanting Plitvice Lakes National Park region with its' glassy emerald green lakes. From there we traveled to Split where we had a private walking tour, tasted local wines and took a ferry catamaran to the Croation island of Hvar where we toured the island with yet another wonderful guide who also shared with us his family-owned vineyard. We sipped on wine from his vineyard and delighted in his wonderful lavendar oils his family makes. The next day we traveled to Ston where we stopped and had lunch, then to Dubrovnik. Each stop we were given private tours that included history and stories of this beautiful country. Each of our guides were filled with wonderful stories and memories that and included history of their country that they shared with great pride. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using Kimkim for any trip you may want to make and especially Antonia and her guides. They were professional and tuned in and committed to providing you with the best experience for your personal trip!

This was our second trip with Kimkim, and it could not have been better. Antonia created an itinerary for the four of us that was exactly what we asked for. Our guides were local, warm, friendly, and passionate about their home land. Grgo in Hvar, Rachael on our Lumbada wine tour, Nike on our Konavle culinary experience, Tara in Plitvice Lakes and Phillip and Marko on our boat tour from Trogir to Hvar added so much to our experiences. We learned so much. All of our drivers were friendly and always on time. Croatia is a stunningly beautiful country with warm, friendly people and we loved it.
I have noticed a few reviews mentioning that you can put a trip together on your own for less. That might be true, but for us, the tours, guides, hotel bookings, dinner reservations, and drivers that Antonia arranged for us were well worth the price. Antonia checked in with us daily to make sure that everything was okay. We will not hesitate to use Kimkim again.
