Greece is a destination spot for a lot of folks around the world and planning a trip with all the traveling and scheduling details is a huge and daunting effort. Angela made that effort look so seamless and easy that I had to pinch myself as to whether I am truly in Greece vacationing and enjoying to the fullest. After the initial consultation session to show our interests she put together a trip plan that suited our needs. Every step of the way, we had drivers or tour operators waiting for us to show us beautiful Greece. The most stunning places were in Santorini and Crete, again the tours completely catered to what our needs were and it was the most amazing experience. I wish for my future travels, we can use Angela, but unfortunately she is travel advisor for Greece only. So for my future travels, I will most definitely use kimkim and hope to get another Angela to make our vacation the most memorable one.

Our trip to Greece was following 3 weeks in Spain. I didn't know where to start and Amalia not only tailored our trip to our liking but also became a friend I will remember! All the details were planned, drivers, guides, hotels... Our driver who picked us up from the airport was the beginning of an excellent understanding of Athens and its growth. He began our tour by pointing out parts of the city and telling us about Athens which began our journey. We wanted an "off the beaten path" experience in Greece hoping to sail the islands a different year. We wanted to see Meteora and experience Greece coast and country. Working with Amalia proved to be perfect! We left our large luggage at our Athens hotel and headed to Thessaloniki and from there drove to Meteora; breathtaking and wonderous in the history and inspired building of the Byzantine monasteries. We witnessed the historic sites on the coast, farm country, sunflower fields, olive orchards and mountains. Returning to Athens we had a private tour with Anda through the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Anda's expertise and ability to relate history and her passion for archeology is unparalleled. I would rate her a 10 out of five stars. And then our last day in Athens we met Antonia who walked us through the market, while on our private food tour. We heard history and regional pride in the different "flavors" of Greece from olives to feta to meat and drink. Beyond my expectations!

We enjoyed the calmer nature of Thessaloniki. We did the hop on hop off bus. I wish we had gone to the beach and outside of Thessaloniki to get a better flavor of local living. We were actually tired from our travels so enjoyed the wait staff and open air dining at our hotel and along the park area.

An incredible hike in Naxos and tour of Santorini are other highlights that were no less memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a good location, within walking distance from restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was great! There was a lovely view of the sunset and caldera from the front porch. Mysteriously, they didn't have washcloths, so if that's important to you, you'll have to bring your own. :-)

We have always wanted to go to Greece, and we thought - what better time than our honeymoon? Irene, our travel specialist, was beyond amazing. She was so kind, professional, and prompt. She discussed our interests and budget with us, and chose places we would never have even thought of ourselves. Our trip included Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, and Santorini. Throughout the entire experience, Irene was there every step of the way to answer any questions, and give us some recommendations. I wonder if she rests, it seemed like she was available 24/7!! The itinerary she produced was so well organized (including time changes!), that we had piece of mind and got to enjoy ourselves every second of it. There was not a SINGLE DETAIL she left out. The experience was phenomenal. We WILL be coming back to Greece and we WILL be requesting Irene again!

Finding kimkim was a godsend for planning a first time trip to Greece with my husband for our anniversary in only a month’s time!! We were connected to Chris our local Greek specialist and could not be happier with him and his agency as well as their partners, that helped to curate our experience. Everyone we interacted with was lovely. Our private transfers and guides were all punctual, knowledgeable, and laid back. They all seem to like their jobs and take pride in them and that’s very important for us and enhanced the experience. Notably we really enjoyed the company of one of our private drivers Yannis who spent an extended amount of time with us and was so genuine and really personalized our experience, Natalia our guide for our Acropolis and food tour who was so accommodating, and Isabella who led our hiking tour in Naxos who was so easy going. Everyone felt like a friend!

Chris chose excellent accommodations within our budget and with the characteristics we were looking for and even the staff working at the hotels were so kind and hospitable. We hit a few roadblocks during the trip but Chris handled everything timely and the setbacks did not take away from our overall experience, we had an excellent time.

I was skeptical about using Kimkim at first but so glad I did. It truly is made for the in-between travelers who want help planning a trip and don’t want to be in a fixed group schedule but also don’t want to risk or take the time to handle everything independently. It was nice to have a mix of private guided experiences as well as free independent time and on OUR schedule when it worked for us! We also liked that we chose the exact places we wanted to visit in Greece and got to see places we didn’t think of! Often packaged tours miss hidden gems and give you too little time in places. In 13 days we were able to visit Athens, Delphi, Arachova (quick stopover), Galaxidi, Kalabaka (town closest to Meteora), and Nafplio, as well as the islands of Naxos and Santorini. While of course we could have spent more time in certain places, we felt we had a good pace with each place with the assistance of Chris’ expertise. And once again, the “expertise” part was so important. You don’t want someone who will simply say “yes” to everything you ask, you also want someone to guide you to keep your trip pace realistic and really help you make the most of your time! We really valued Chris on this!

Using KimKim was everything we didn’t know we needed. I will highly consider using this service in the future!

Very nice hotel that made you feel like you were on an island getaway! Nice staff, great breakfast in the morning. It’s nice that it’s in a quiet area, but it is a little farther from Agios Prokopios ( the closest beach town) than I would have preferred due to the lack of sidewalks on the route from the hotel to there. It is only about a 10 min walk but can feel longer since you have to be cautious about your walk until you get into the beach town with all the shops and restaurants. But in general, not much sidewalks on this side of the island in this area at least, so that isn’t going to change much! Perhaps if we stayed slightly more central the hotel would have been noisier so who knows! Great hotel and service otherwise, just not the best location-wise.

Loved this hotel in the heart of Kamari - the calmer side of Santorini!! We had a room with a jacuzzi and sea view and it was an excellent way to end our first time in Greece! Great staff, great breakfast, excellent location in Kamari steps away from shops and dining and the black rock beach. Bus stop was also not far if you want to go to Thira, Oia, etc. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again if going to Santorini. Oia and Thira may be the more picturesque side of the island but with that come much higher prices and big crowds. It was fine to visit these towns but we LOVED that we were home based in Kamari - so much more laid back and affordable!

This hotel is equidistant between both towns closest to the Meteora monastery trails so great to stay in if you’re wanting to see both towns and have flexibility with sightseeing. Excellent location is the biggest advantage here! It’s located on a quiet street so you get a great sleep but it’s just steps away from the Acropolis museum, shopping, and restaurants! We had a micro room with terrace that had a view of the Acropolis and we loved the view and the bed was comfortable enough for us. Keep in mind “micro” does mean micro so it was a little tight to move around considering 4 pieces of luggage but nothing that ruined our experience. Main downside was our shower was so shallow and would flood the floor every time we showered so we learned to put towels prior to showering to soak up the water. There is daily housekeeping so this was cleaned everyday but mostly it’s really just a big inconvenience safety and comfort wise, not sure who decided on the architecture here but this definitely could be improved with a future remodel. Not sure if the other room types had this shower issue, maybe only this one. Otherwise no other complaints. Breakfast was great and the hotel staff were very nice.

Hiking the ‘ring’ in Central Naxos

Highly recommend this experience! If you like to hike or get off the beaten path, this excursion is for you! The beaches in Naxos are great but why not explore the center with some of the neighboring towns? Our local guide Isabella was such a pleasure to have as company! She felt like a friend showing us her favorite trail and tiny villages with some history as we trekked through. We saw only a handful of people doing the trails so it was nice and felt very private. We appreciated having a guide because I think we might have gotten lost attempting this on our own! We loved that the trip ended in the town of Halki, a charming little town where we had a light snack and and did a little local shopping.

Nafplio was one of my favorite places! Vibrant port side city with great food and beautiful streets in the old town. Very romantic! Our driver Thomas was very knowledgeable and helped pace our day trip here from Athens. We spent about an hour exploring the Palamidi fortress (must do!) and then about 2-2.5 hrs exploring the town with enough time to shop and eat lunch. Probably could have stayed another hour if time permitted but overall it was enough time to get a taste of Nafplio!

Divine Delphi and Galaxidi Private Excursion

The archaeological site and museum of Delphi are truly a divine experience! I actually loved Delphi more than the Acropolis! Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. He paced the tour very well. Staying one night in the nearby town of Galaxidi was a good decision with the help of our local expert Chris. It was a very nice port side town and helped the visit to Delphi not feel rushed. Worth the stay! The food in Galaxidi was also excellent. Tiny town but big flavors! Our driver Yannis was the best!

We loved our guide Natalia! She was so knowledgeable, paced the tour well, and knew where to STAND while we moved around the Acropolis. There were several guided tours happening while we were there and whether by coincidence or not, she didn’t have us dying directly under the sun when possible like the other groups! She also knew the best angles for pictures! The flavors part of the tour truly made the experience. We visited places me and my husband would have just walked right past that didn’t look as inviting as the other touristic restaurants if it was just us. This is why you need a local expert to show you around and help you sample really great food!! There’s an abundance of great food in Greece overall but it truly would have been a shame if we missed the places Natalia took us to! It was truly a memorable experience.

We spent time in Athens, Naxos, and Santorini.
Our tour guide Vicky in Athens was so knowledgeable about the ancient mythology history, she was attentive to each person in the group and allotted rest intervals on our climb up to the Parthenon.
In Naxos the beaches were exquisite, pristine , clear tourquios waters, best beaches ever and I'm a carribean native..
We spent time with a local family on their farm, Maria and Giannis we shared stories and they told us of the wine and cheese making process, as we cooked a delicious meal with produce from their farm.
The sunsets and beautiful blue domes of Santorini were spectacular.
We were serenaded atop Fira, as we watched the sunset.
Our tour guide Georgina was sweet, funny and personable as she took us to the Santorini highlights.
The wine tour and tasting and volcanoe cruise were wonderful activities to wrap up our visit.
Oh I can't forget we had a great dinner overlooking a wine vineyard to celebrate my girl.
My kids and husband and I loved the vacation.
The rooms were beautifully designed and accommodating.
Food was delicious.

We had a wonderful trip to Greece! It was the trip of a lifetime! It was so well planned and organized, they had wonderful recommendations and reliable connections with the places we were traveling too. If he had any questions, concerns or issues the travel team was available and ready to help. I would highly recommend Tasos and the Kimkim team!! They made the trip so easy.

We will never travel abroad without using KimKim!!! I could not believe how smooth our trip was. Our group had a detailed itinerary so all 8 of us always knew what to expect and when. Tasos and his team made sure that our hotels had received and printed our boarding passes for flights and ferries. There was one logistical hiccup that was due a a minor misdirection by a driver, but we got on the phone with Tasos' team and it was fixed in a matter of minutes. They are all wonderful communicators. AND it was super easy for non urgent Q&A to use the chat on their site. All of us could access and see the responses. They get an A++ for communication.
A highlight of our trip was our 4 days in Naxos. Not only was this my favorite island, but we LOVED the hotel, Lagos Mare. The staff was one of the most welcoming, kind, cheerful, and warm that I have ever experienced at a hotel. Especially Daphne (front desk), Petros (bartender), and Asteris (driver).
For us, this was a trip 3 years in the making, and it did not disappoint. We made memories that will last forever, met wonderful people, ate fabulous food, and learned a ton about Greek history and culture, and our experience would not have been so wonderful if we had tried to make it happen without KimKim.

Our first trip to Greece and we were a bit concerned about taking 8 people around the country. We found Kim Kim travel and were connected with Antonis. He was great to work with and easily accessible, even by phone. We gave him an outline of what we were looking to do and presented us with options. We fined tuned the initial trip and he did the rest! From the day we got there to the day we left, it was amazing. All transfers were seamless and all excursions as illustrated. He was always available for any questions and checked in on us during the trip to ensure we were enjoying our time. We highly recommend his services, you won’t be disappointed!!

Our favorite island was truly Santorini but all the islands had their own special flare! The sunset cruise in Santorini was one of our favorite days - we spend one afternoon and evening on the catamaran with a fun group of "new friends" as we saw the beautiful Santorini island from the sea! During several spots we were able to jump off the boat, swim and enjoy the water!

We enjoyed learning about the history of Greece and Athens from our guide (Zakia) as we toured the Acropolis.

Our guide (George) in Naxos was wonderful - very knowledgeable and fun which made for a very relaxing day seeing the smaller towns and countryside in Naxos. The pottery shop in Damalas was one of our favorite stops in Naxos as well as the very authentic lunch with our guide at the Tavern Platsa in the small town of Koronos.

During our free day in Mykonos, we loved spending time on the beaches - we bought a day long beach hopping pass and were able to see all the beaches and we spent time on one of the beaches for most of the afternoon ( Super Paradise Beach) which had lots of people, beach activities and a great place for lunch!

Each of our hotels that we stayed in were unique and special in their own way. Antonis did a great job of booking different type of hotels. ( a quaint place in Naxos, a downtown hotel in Athens, a larger hotel in Santorini with several swimming pools to enjoy and our hotel in Mykonos had a wonderful view of the sunset off our balcony!)

I would highly recommend using Kim Kim for my next travel excursion!!

I would not recommend this experience! As it turned out, the other guests that were suppose to be with us never showed up so it was just my daughter and I. The owner of the company who cooked the meal was somewhat offended that we did not eat all the food she had made. There was so much food and she made us feel bad ( she actually thought we didn’t like it since we didn’t eat everything!!) We would have preferred eating at a local restaurant in town instead!

Our guide (George) in Naxos was wonderful - very knowledgeable and fun which made for a very relaxing day seeing the smaller towns and countryside in Naxos. The pottery shop in Damalas was one of our favorite stops in Naxos as well as the very authentic lunch with our guide at the Tavern Platsa in the small town of Koronos.

During our free day in Mykonos, we loved spending time on the beaches - we bought a day long beach hopping pass and were able to see all the beaches and we spent time on one of the beaches for most of the afternoon (Super Paradise Beach) which had lots of people, beach activities and a great place for lunch!

Each of our hotels that we stayed in were unique and special in their own way. Antonis did a great job of booking different type of hotels. ( a quaint place in Naxos, a downtown hotel in Athens with a beautiful view of the acropolis from the rooftop bar, a larger hotel in Santorini with several swimming pools to enjoy and our hotel in Mykonos had a wonderful view of the sunset off our balcony!)

I would highly recommend using Kim Kim for my next travel excursion!!

The Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon

I would not recommend this experience. After the 5 hour tour of the Acropolis, it was too long of a drive to see the Temple of Poseidon. We were never able to see the Cape Sounion due to the fact that the road was closed off to see the view. My kids were exhausted and we had to spend over 2 hours in the car driving to see the Temple which was not very exciting. The views were pretty but looking back on it, we would have enjoyed a more relaxing afternoon with lunch and swimming or snorkeling in one of the seaside towns that we drove through.

Our guide, Zakia was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about the history of Athens as well as the history of the Acropolis. I would definately recommend this experience - it is such a big part of Athens that you truly have to "check the Box" and see the acropolis and learn about the history.

Let me start by saying that I can not say enough great things about our recent trip to Greece!!
The whole country is AMAZING! The people are so welcoming and friendly, the food and wine are to die for, and the sights and history are unbelievable.
Our KimKim advisor Rebecca could have not planned our trip better! She spent several weeks before the trip creating a great intenary and made the trip flawless.
We were traveling as a group of 5 adults and 2 children (ages 10 & 7) and Rebecca had all of our transfers scheduled which made it so easy with a group that large. She also picked tours that all of us would enjoy with a great mixture of history and fun in the sun on boats.
Even when my husband's & I's flight got canceled and were a day late meeting our group Rebecca was able to resechdule a full day tour & rebook a flight we missed in Athens to Kefellonia.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful vacation!! We will be using KimKIm again in the future.

The crew of this boat were amazing! The weather was not allowing for us to go the the cave like planned but were very awesome about asking what else we would like to see or do in order to make up that. They also found out that one of the kids traveling with us was having a birthday that day & went and bought a cake to have after they served us lunch. We just came back from our 12-day trip to Greece. It was our first time trying out Kimkim as I had limited time to plan it and wanted to see so many things during the trip. Angela, our local specialist was amazing to work with. She created an initial trip plan and made multiple changes to it based on my feedback to make it a truly custom fit for us. We were able to book some parts of the trip ourselves whenever it made more sense (e.g using my own hotel points for a few days of accomodation). I really like this flexibility. Plus it was really easy to do the back and forth through Kimkim platform. During the trip, Angela kept in touch with us through Kimkim and provided reminders of upcoming tours, took care of rebookings when there was a museum that was closed on the day, etc. She provided peace of mind during our trip and she was very prompt in responding to any inquiries I had. Our trip to Greece was three years in the planning due to covid delays and we were thrilled to finally go on the trip this June. Tasos was amazingly responsive and helpful during the planning stages and re-worked our itinerary several times to adjust for our needs and the date changes. All of the accommodations that he selected were perfect for us, it is often a challenge to find enough space to accommodate a family of 5 adults, and the properties selected for us were wonderful. The catamaran rental he arranged was our favorite part of the trip, the boat was lovely and the crew was fantastic!! All of the transportation that he organized was prompt and perfect. This was my first time to Europe and it was a wonderful experience!

Christos was a superb specialist and everything we did went off with very few changes. He did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend his services to anyone wishing to go to the Greek Islands. Highlights were The Acropolis in Athens, our cooking class and island tour on Naxos, and the Santorini sunsets!! The only thing I would add to the tour descriptions is that you should bring shoes with good grippy soles as some of the marble and stone cobbles on the streets can be slippery even when dry, and are a bit uneven. But it was a spectacular trip, and Christos kept a close eye on us to make sure we were well-taken care of!
