Thank you to Harris and the kimkim team for helping us plan an amazing trip to Greece! We really wanted to see some of the less touristy areas, but weren't sure where to even start. With kimkim we settled on Syros and had an amazing time on a very underrated island! We did some more popular destinations too (Athens and Naxos), and each location was so incredible in it's own unique way. The food was some of the best we ever had and all of our excursions were so fun.

Where I felt a bit let down was with the communication aspect. Certain information wasn't appropriately communicated to hotels ahead of time and when we went on a food tour, they hadn't been informed about allergies so my boyfriend missed out on trying multiple dishes, even though we were told that kimkim would notify them about our allergies. For the price, it was very unfortunate to not be able to participate in every part of the food tour. Other than that, it was a great experience!

I can't say enough about the services that we received through KimKim, and more importantly, our trip specialist Ina. My son initially found KimKim as a potential resource for a trip that we were planning to Italy and Greece. I started some dialogue with them about 4 months ahead of our travels, and we were connected with Ina as our local specialist. We gave her some general thoughts as to where and what we wanted to see and do, and she did an outstanding job in making suggestions and helping to customize our trip. Given that the Greece part of our trip was going to be our two adult kids traveling out of the country on their own for the first time, we were probably a bit high maintenance with our constant questions and pestering, but Ina was extremely responsive and helpful. The icing on the cake was having our kids get to meet Ina and spend part of a day with her as their local resource and guide...they absolutely loved it! Our kids reached out to KimKim and the Travel12 team for assistance a number of times during their travels in Greece, and they were always helpful and responsive. This was our first experience with a travel service, and it was outstanding in every respect. Chris was absolutely phenomenal. I have used many agents over the years to book trips and Chris was thorough, planned a perfect trip and kept in contact before and during the trip. We really liked the location of the hotel. The room was well appointed and had lots of seating. We had a great view and adored the balcony. There is a lot of action around the hotel with people coming down the road to go into the city. You can hear the music from the city at night but never bothered us.

you have to go on a boat in Santorini and loved this ship and variety of activities. my family loved the swim and how could you not enjoy the bar and music. it is a wonderful way to see the sunset in a different perspective. it was so relaxing and peaceful. Great dinner and crew.

Overall I thought KimKim and Antonis were excellent. They helped us put together a last minute trip to Greece that felt truly amazing. There was one thing I did not like however. You do not receive a breakdown of costs for individual hotels, events, transfers or transportation tickets. I have been told by KimKim that this is a function of Greek law, but I still am not a fan of one bill with a total at the end. For that reason I would not use KimKim again unless they were willing to give me a price breakdown. Otherwise, the lodging choices were excellent; all transfers went smoothly; we loved the sunset cruise set up by Antonis (best we have ever been on) and we enjoyed our trip tremendously. Thanks KimKim!

This trip couldn’t have been possible without Angela at KIMKIM! Her expertise, knowledge, attention to detail and communication was top notch. Our family vacation was the perfect mix of activity and relaxation…in Crete, Santorini, and Athens. The accommodations were all different and lovely for our family of five. Transportation between locations and for excursions were perfectly planned with no missteps. Alexander did a great job with our all day private tour of Crete. Highly recommend! He’s fun, funny, full of expression and knows Crete intimately. The catamaran swim day/sunset cruise in Santorini was a must and amazingly beautiful. Our accommodations here were a favorite…we could see the sunrise, sunset and the sea from our balcony!!! The Athens ancient history ruins and mythology tour was super informative and something we will never forget. We can’t wait to go back to explore more of the Greek Islands. We would recommend KIMKIM to help plan your next bucket list getaway and Angela specifically if you are going to Greece!

the trip was amazing however we were not happy with the tour van and hotel in Santorini.

The tour guide who was supposed to help with the trip was late (excuse given that he wanted us to see the sunset) however he kept driving us around and we almost missed the sunset. He dropped us at a hotel next to black sand beach and wanted us to eat snacks there. If we had done that we would have missed the sunset (glad didn't listen to him ) I had to remind him to take us to the red beach. He conveniently forgot that. His tour van was no noisy and run down. With the amount of money paid I had expected better service.

Also the cave hotel in Santorini has not that great. Room had an odd smell. The service was excellent and view was great.

Naxos was an amazing recommendation. Thanks Amalia was booking that. Over all Amalia was awesome and very responsive but tour company that was partnered with in Santorini wasn't something I'd engage with again.

hotel wasn't great and tour van was super old and noisy. We couldn't hear what the guide was saying. When asked to fix the noise he said nothing can be done. Was late for pick up and rushed things. Didn't follow the itinerary and tried to skip major destination. Unlike other tour guides (Naxos was exceptional guide) the guide in Santorini didn't bother to accompany us and give us info on what we were seeing. I saw other guides were with their parties and explaining the things

Our honeymoon was a trip I will truly never forget! Ina and the KimKim team picked all great hotels, transfers and excursions. It is very much worth having a local person to help you book the best things as there are endless options of choices in Greece. Our favorite highlights we Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos, hiking and cooking in Naxos (Spiros with Naxos Sun was an amazing guide and we learned so much about the island), and our Santorini highlights and wine tasting excursion with Gina and Constantinos with Argyos (such an amazing tour and wonderful tour guides that I will always remember). Thank you KimKim for making our honeymoon seamless and unforgettable!

Dimitris was an excellent help on my first trip to Greece. He booked us in wonderful, cute, small hotels, planned our transfers to perfection and was extremely accommodating to our needs before the trip, and as the trip was ongoing. I would certainly recommend Dimitris for anyone looking to go to Greece.

Eleni did a wonderful job providing great lodging, locations, and experiences during our trip to Greece. We had a family of four with two teenagers and got to experience a little bit of everything. We had a couple hiccups with car rentals, but that didn't take away from how well organized the whole vacation was. The team was incredibly responsive during our trip 24/7 and every guide we interacted with was the best! If I ever go to Greece again, I would be happy to work with Eleni and her team! Probably one of the coolest places I've ever stayed. The homes are so neat with all the stone, marble, and wood. Beautiful views from the balconies of the castle, town, ocean, churches, and lime trees. Very magical. Our whole family loved it. The horseback riding would have been better if it hadn't just been around the town... I'm use to horseback riding being an opportunity to see countryside you normally wouldn't see by foot or car. Also these particular horses were difficult. They were either bitter or slow. However, our guide was terrific. The best part of the edventure was when we stopped riding horses and just hung out at his place for drinks and fruit.

So we had a private guide who took us up the back way through the forest to the castle which we thought was cool until we realized we could have just driven and parked at the castle. Also, by the time we got up there, the castle was closing in 30 min so we didn't get to see a lot of it before getting kicked out. And our guide didn't really tell us anything about the castle.

To Tasos, Georgia, Irene, and the entire Travel12 Support Team,

I just wanted to let you know how pleased, happy, and ultra-satisfied that I am with my KimKim/Travel12 experience.

You all are the ultimate professionals-everything was handled and executed perfectly!

Rebecca was a GODSEND with all she did to assist me in putting together this custom-made luxury Greek Honeymoon! She was an absolute joy to work with! I’ll never forget the relationship we forged. I am so grateful that I was fortunate enough to work her with on this labor of love. We spent hours and months planning and preparing-and then COVID hit and we felt compelled to postpone their honeymoon exactly one year later(Their 1st Wedding Anniversary was Sunday, June 12, 2022). I so appreciate all that you did to keep the prices the same for the trip, even a year later. They boarded their first flight of 3 to get to Greece at 0600 Monday, June 13! They returned from an ultimate luxury Greek Honeymoon on Wednesday,June 29 at 2100.

I had booked them first class seats on all of their flights-and they continued to get the “Royal Treatment” since they were picked up at the Athens airport! Precisely what I wanted!

Jacob and Anna loved the upgrade you provided for them for the Welcome dinner and they got an upgrade for their rental car to a Mercedes. They thoroughly enjoyed the private tours with fantastic tour guides. The trip included Athens, Corinth, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Nafplio, Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini, Heraklion, Rethymno, Chania, and Elafonissi Beach, and the area around Chania. This was a the perfect custom-made, fabulous island hopping trip with what I think was a very good representation of your heavenly and gorgeous country!

All of the hotels(all 5 star hotels) gave Jacob and Anna the Honeymooner’s special touches(flower petals on their bed in the shape of a heart, complimentary wine, desserts, candy, bowls of fresh fruit, etc) upon arrival to their hotel room. The breakfasts in each hotel were amazing. They loved every detail of every day that we planned, but still had plenty of free time to do what they wanted and enjoy the restaurant cuisine and shopping at all of the places they went.

I believe their favorite was their time in Naxos-they had a beautiful hotel room with a private enclosed deck with their own jacuzzi-that opened up to a private courtyard. They loved the tranquil beauty of Naxos, and of course, the food! It was so nice that they were able to be at Agia Anna Beach(especially for Anna!)-what a nice touch!

Also they thoroughly enjoyed the small group(6 other people besides them)experiences of the Cooking Class and also the Olive Oil and Wine Tasting Tours in Crete. Just all the way around fantastic!

I can’t tell you how much happiness this trip has given me to have things go so smoothly and have all of the details taken care of by your team! They had a most memorable honeymoon and most certainly the trip of their lifetime! Jacob is my only child and I wanted to give him and his wife Anna the VERY BEST; and I want to thank you for providing that experience for them.

Tasos, I want to thank you for answering the phone on that Day 1 at a time that I’m sure was after hours for you and giving me the information and clarification that I needed-you were so patient and calming. Thank you to all of the support staff that responded to my questions and also reaching out to Jacob and Anna with details and guidance for everything they needed!

The other thing that I want to thank Tasos for is that even with Rebecca no longer being part of Travel12, and with the Covid pandemic and all of the resulting things that were affected-you were able to flawlessly and seamlessly make sure everything in the original trip remained the same-or even better!

You have an excellent system of communication! It is greatly appreciated.

Jacob and Anna kept in touch with me and sent pictures during the time they were there-they looked so happy in every photo. And Anna told me that this trip was a dream come true for her. They loved every minute of this 16 day trip.

I was really able to enjoy this trip vicariously-first by planning it and making sure all of the details were taken care of with your help-and then being able to see the joy and excitement that Jacob and Anna experienced-it was everything I hoped for and more!

By the way, the week that Jacob returned home, he told me how much he missed the Greek Food!

We still have some financial issues left to sort out.

There is absolutely nothing bad I could say about my whole experience with booking this trip through KimKim and Travel12. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL.

My trip was initially postponed because of Covid and then a personal emergency caused really last minute re-bookings and changes to my itinerary. In all the shuffling and change requests, Tasos and his team did not miss a beat nor did they steer me wrong. They guided me fully and I honestly felt truly looked after. I gave Tasos the specifics of what I needed and I got that and more. So if you truly are honest about what you want, you will not be disappointed. Tasos and his team will likely even exceed your expectations!

My accommodations, transfers and even the various versions of my tours/itinerary were carefully detailed and perfectly thought out. The places we stayed, tours/transfers we did, were simply fabulous.

Every question or concern I had was addressed in a timely manner and I felt they genuinely cared about my situation and particularities.

I experienced just a taste of Greece this time and I will not hesitate to use Tasos again for my next trip!

We love our trip to Greece. We visited Athens, Naxos and Santorini in 12 days. Amalia prepared the personalized program. It was really an amazing trip, highlighting Ancient Greece, touring Athens and the islands and the culinary side of Greece. At the same time we had sufficient free time for shopping with our teenager’s or relax and enjoy the beaches on the island.

It was an amazing trip overall, all the hotels we stayed in felt super safe and were in good areas. If anyone is wondering if they should do a sunset catamaran in santorini, it is a MUST!!! We had the most amazing trip in Greece! Rebecca Skevakis was our travel specialist and she could not have set up a more seamless or thoughtful trip for us. We are a family of four, two teenage kids (daughter 16 and son 14) from Boulder, Colorado. We have traveled a lot and typically arrange our own itinerary. For Greece, since we only had ten days and I wanted to make the most of our time there, I used KimKim and Rebecca to assist with all the details. As the title of the review said....perfection start to finish.

We spent two nights in Athens to start the trip. We had a free day to get acclimated to the time change and explore a bit on our own. The hotel, Coco Mat Athens, was fantastically located near the Acropolis with views. Walkable to everything we wanted to see. We had a tour of the Acropolis with our tour guide, Angela, who was so knowledgeable and took us to some areas of the Plaka that we would never have seen. We then transferred by plane to Chania, Crete. Another fantastic hotel, Chania Flair Boutique. Again, perfect location with beach access in the City. We went to Balos Beach, did an olive oil farm and press and cooking class. Had dinner at the most beautiful farm to table restaurant, and had time to explore the harbor district and spend some good quality time just relaxing at the beach. After three days on Chania, we went to Santorini and stayed just outside of Fira. We had the most unbelievable view of the caldera and the quintessential view of the white cliffside accomodations in Santorini. We were able to go cliff jumping in Atouni Bay, spent at day at a beach club at Theros Beach and did a sunset catamaran cruise of the island. All beyond perfect. We did one final transfer back to Athens but instead of it being a night of just wandering, we scheduled a food and wine tour of the Psyri neighborhood, and our guide, Theo, took us to places we would never have found on our own. Theo was fantastic and given that we had a 100 degree day, tailored our time to accommodate the oppressive heat.

Overall, I can't rave enough about Rebecca, GrecianLux, KimKim. Her attention to detail, from really listening to what my family wanted out of the trip, to the accommodations that she arranged, to the tours, to the transfers each step of the trip....every detail went off without a hitch. For example, we had one day when we were to take a boat tour to a beach but the wind was up and the harbor shut down, so she arranged for alternate transportation (her husband, Michael drove us! Michael was also amazing and so knowledgeable!) We could still go to the beach and then added on a dinner at the best restaurant. She also arranged for transportation and a reservation at a beach club in Santorini on a day when my kids rejected a six mile hike (walking uphill, even with views, was not appealing to teenagers !). The app that we used was also incredibly user friendly. It had all of our trip information organized by day and also important documents. We had the opportunity to meet Rebecca and she and her family were just so warm and welcoming in person.

If you are planning a trip to Greece, I am happy to provide the highest recommendation for Rebecca and KimKim. Perfect trip with memories that will last a lifetime.

Chania - Dive into magnificent Balos Beach with a private boat (Fishing boat)

We didn't actually get to take a boat to Balos Beach because the ocean was too high and the Harbor Master closed the marina. However, our travel specialist Rebecca arranged for a driver to take us to and from the same beach which was so thoughtful. The wind was high that day but that kept the crowds down and we were able to be comfortable behind some of the big rocks on the beach. We then were able to go for dinner at a local farm to table restaurant near Balos. Again, Rebecca took care of the cost of the meal because we had paid for dinner on the boat trip that got cancelled. Really, she went over and above and we had the best alternate experience!

Chania - ''The Cretan Treasures'' Food and Wine Tour

Unbelievable experience! We were picked up by Yannis who was our tour guide for the day. He was funny, engaged with our children, and also very knowledgeable about everything related to our tour, Greece and Crete. We toured an olive oil refinery and farm, and then took a cooking class at a private farm in the Kissamos district. So beautiful and away from tourists. We cooked stuffed tomatoes and peppers and stuffed grape leaves. And we were served a traditional Cretan meal with different types of cheeses, honey, Greek salad, roasted vegetables, roasted goat, and dessert of yogurt and different types of local honey. One of the best experiences of our trip. We highly recommend.
