Great organization from start to finish. Meals in the mountains were a little small so we had to purchase more food for each meal we had. Guides we great and helpfull only english communication wasnt the greatest. However it is a normal fact to expect when visiting tgis part of the world.

KimKim connected us to Ngima from NMMT. We communicated via KimKim's messaging platform which was effortless. Ngima was able to answer all my queries and he did so in a timely manner. He also arranged everything for me which was really convenient. All I had to do was to book the flight. In Nepal, I did the Helambu Trek. I was accompanied by Lakhma (guide) and Pasang (porter). I only expected my guide to be able to converse in English, but Pasang could do it too and that was a bonus. Both of them ensured all my needs were taken care of. Overall, it was a great experience for me. I will highly recommend KimKim, NMMT and Nepal to all.

Absolutely amazing experience. Erin was amazing from beginning to end. All emails answered promptly . Everything arranged seamlessly. We had to worry about nothing.
Due to adverse weather we had to cut trek short nd head to Pochara. She booked hotels , transfers excursions without wanting any payment until we got to Katmandu. Booked us into amazing hotel Temle Tree in Pochara.
Trek was incredible our Guide Cheering and Sherpa Norbu were two of the nicest men you could ever of met. Much better prepared than the other guides. We had Ice Axe with us which was essential at times other guides had nothing.
We had many laughs and spent many happy evenings with Cheering and Norbu. Highly Highly recommend Erin and her team.

Was great to have Ngima attend to us during our pre-planning. He was extremely patient, prompt and informative with our queries in planning our tailored itinerary.

We were well taken care of from the moment we stepped into Kathmandu till we left. We definitely enjoyed ourselves thoroughly throughout the journey.

I can highly recommend Amanda at Kim Kim/ Himalayan Trails and am very grateful for the care and thought she put into planning my trekking trip in Nepal. I felt that my needs were really listened to and that she made a conscious effort to suggest accommodation that she felt I would enjoy. Our guide Sumon was knowledgeable and engaging and helped to make the trip more interesting and tailored to our needs. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely use the company again - they are professional, attentive and experienced.

Nepal in one word is......AMAZING! My husband and I were heading towards India for a wedding but wanted to make sure we could include at least a short trip to Nepal. Tashi and his team made it possible and we were able to see Kathmandu as well as hike up to see Everest.

Firstly, the whole organisation and process was incredibly easy. Tashi understood quickly what we wanted and organised it within days. His response time, even with the time difference, was within hours even.

Once we arrived, he was there with the driver to pick us up. Explained the entire next steps and made sure everything with our hotel was fine. He even organised a "to-go" breakfast from our hotel for the next morning at 4:30am (since heading to Lukla that morning). That morning he brought us to the airport, explained the process, and kept in contact with our guides during the whole trek to make sure everything was running smoothly. Once we flew back to Kathmandu from Lukla, we had a few more hours until our next flight, and he used the time to show us another beautiful site, and we got to enjoy a nice tea together there. His detailed dedication to the guests is impeccable and highly appreciated. I've never felt so well taken care of by any tour company.

The trek itself was stunning and perfectly planned. We arrived in Lukla around mid-morning (after a few flight delays). Our guide, Mingma Gyaljen, and sherpa, Fu Renji were waiting for us once we arrived. They then took us to a Teahouse for a quick tea and introductions. From there we hiked to Phadking. It was a beautiful hike. There we spent the evening at the Khumbu Traveller's Guest House. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed (tasty food too). The second day we hiked up to Namche Bazaar. What a beautiful hike! It gets a bit uphill the last part, so you need to take your time. Both guides were very attentive and adapted to our speeds when needed. During the hike up, we stopped at the Sagarmatha National Park's 3.140m view point to get our first view of Everest. Once at Namche, we stayed at the Shangrila Lodges right in the middle of the town with a great view of the area. It was pretty cold up there since it was January but we kept warm at the fire, and our guide made sure we had enough blankets. The host made some amazing homemade Momo's for us too! The next morning, our guide woke us up at 6am as the sky was clear so we could hike up further to see the surrounding mountain peaks. We hiked up about 30minutes to 3.555m to get a perfect view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Tabuche and Amadablam and many more. We are so grateful to our brilliant guide and sherpa for suggesting it and taking us there! They both made sure we really enjoyed ourselves the entire trek.

Following that we hiked back to Lukla. There we stayed at the Sonam Lodge. The hosts made us feel like part of the family, and even came with us to the airport to make sure we had no issues.

The entire trip was more than any of our expectations and we definitely want to go back for a longer trek with the Tashi team. Thank you to Tashi, Mingma Gyaljen, Fu Renji, and the Teahouse hosts for the amazing experience!!

It was incredible. Mingmar and the two porters were knowledgeable, patient, and simply outstanding. They handled the entire experience seamlessly and were incredibly accommodating to myself and fellow trekkers. Honestly could not have asked for a better experience.

From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. Thanks to all involved especially our guide Chomba and porter Nila.

Thank you, Erin for organizing a terrific trek to Muldau and Poon Hill for us in the short time we had available in Nepal. The scenic views of the Annapurna range are magical and the wonderful memories of the trek will last a lifetime. I especially appreciate the quick adjustment to our itinerary, due to unexpected snow at lower elevations while we were on the trail, which prevented us from reaching Muldau, but had no negative impact on our experience. You and the staff at KimKim were great to work with.

I also want acknowledge our guide Mingmar and porters, Dorze and Dawa. They were the best company on the trail. It was so much fun! A round of Sprite for all! (Inside joke between Mingmar, Dorze, Dawa and our group)

Sangrita planned all the logistics including flights, hotels ,transfer, and guides. Sangrita answered all our questions quickly and everything worked perfectly! She was in constant contact with us throughout our trip. We highly recommend her company!

I recently visited Nepal for the first time. I used Kimkim because I wasn't familiar with the country and I didn't have much time to plan the trip personally. Using Kimkim was the best decision I could have made.

Kripa from Himalayan Trails was helpful beyond belief and provided an itinerary that was exactly what I was looking for. She arranged the accommodations, guides, and all other logistics. Although it seemed somewhat expensive up front I realized I got an extraordinary deal! I look forward to using Kimkim and Himalayan Trails again soon.

Our 4 day trek in Nepal was fantastic. Gelu was a great guide, took it at a nice pace and looked after us all.
I loved the different terrains we walked through. Meeting the locals and being thoroughly looked after.
The trek was a good challenge, long days but do able and very rewarding.
We were lucky with the weather, a little snow storm the afternoon we reached base camp but it added to the mood. Getting up early in the freezing cold to summit was a struggle, but to get outside to see clear starry skies was amazing.
We stuck in, and made it to the summit just in time to see the sun rise. It was breath taking (the walk up and the views). The mountain range standing tall, fantastic view of mt Everest and surrounding mountains. Out of this world! Definitely felt I had accomplished something. Smiles all round!!

I just returned from an 8 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp. It was outstanding! The whole process of booking was seamless. Pasang Sherpa was extremely responsive and customized my trip and made excellent recommendations including hotels. She checked in on me during my trip through my guide. I was greeted by my guide Lhakpa Chhetar Sherpa and Lakpa Sherpa, his colleague at Nepal Myths, at the airport. They are both so courteous and took me to my hotel on the first night in Khatmandu. My guide made the trip extremely fun, and we even diverted from our itinerary and took side trips to see a Buddhist monastery and hot springs. I highly recommend trekking to ABC. The trek is moderate in difficulty and we trekked 5-7 hours each day, which was just right. The different landscapes that you cross are spectacular, from rhododendrum forests, bamboo forests, waterfalls, streams, and of course the snow capped peaks. Everything was great! I would highly recommend Nepal Myths and Mountain Trails as the outfit to choose when trekking in Nepal. I definitely want to go back!!

We had an excellent trip trekking strting at POKHARA - Panchase - Bhadure -Sarangkot our tour guide Chhirig CAP Lama was extraordinary helping us all along. Others Ngima,Santa and Karma were also friendly and helping. we enjoyed our trek immensely.
National Park Chitwan Jungle Villa resort , our guide was DUKHI RAM CHOUDARY who had an excellent knowledge of the animals and village . He seemed very passionate and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the National Park and recommend people to go and visit anytime.

We completed a trek to pikey peak with guides Gelu and Tomba. We completed this over four full days, staying at tea houses in between. This trek was brilliant and whilst challenging at times it was thoroughly enjoyable. The guides and porters were so lovely and the teahouses were great. The trip was organised brilliantly with great communication throughout meaning we could relax knowing it was sorted.

Pikey peak was a great trail. We went through villages, fields and through a forests, such a mix of terrain it made each day different. The views at the summit were incredible, we were lucky with our weather and got up there for sunrise, could not have been better.

Fantastic trek! Our guides Gulu and Thombo were great and our two porters did an amazing job! So kind and all the tea houses hosts were lovely also. As this trek is less travelled some of the tea houses are more basic but I think it provided us with a true Nepali experience and we loved it!! Pikey peak base camp is absolutely freezing but great fun, dancing to keep warm! Definately recommend!!

We were looking for an adventure in the Himalayas. We had a fabulous one! From the very beginning, Kunchok made sure that everything was planned and organized the right way. He took all our needs into consideration and was extremely patient and helpful. In Nepal, he treated us like royalty. Once in Nepal, Sonam turned out to be much more than a very resourceful guide. He became a brother whose company we will miss. Both Kunchok and Sonam are top-notched individuals. Too bad Nepal and our new friends are so far away.

As far as Kimkim is concerned, it would be better to think client happiness first, not information systems. Please get rid of these annoying cold-hearted computer-generated messages. You can do better on that front. Thank you for recommending Kunchok and his company to us. We are extremely grateful!
