I want to thank Sangita and Vpin for making my trip to Nepal a beautiful experience. Both of them were always present to make sure that everything was going as planned. Vpin was our guide for most of the trip, and he has an excellent knowledge of English and his country. For the trekking and safari, we were assigned to two other guides who were attentive, polite, cheerful, and knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to discover fantastic places, breathtaking landscapes, and to see wild animals during the safari: incredible! I recommend this fantastic adventure in Nepal to everyone!"

What a great introduction to Nepal. My trip was so well organized and each place I stayed was unique with friendly hosts. Waking to Mountains in Nagarkot day 1 was amazing followed my 4 days of hiking up and down lush, terraced valleys with my amazing guides, Mingma and Dorze. I loved making Nepali food with Christina and Maya at Mata Chen, such a beautiful place to stay. My final day biking from Panouti to Kathmandu with my incredible guide Usha was surreal. From hilltop villages to temples along the way and a crazy, fun ride across Kathmandu right to my hotel. Unforgettable!

Our trek with Kim Kim has been a fantastic experience from start to finish. The communication from Ngima was exceptional throughout. He helped us to think through the various options for the trek and provided helpful guidance and links for further reading. Being met at the airport meant our arrival in Kathmandu was much easier than finding our own way to the hotel and the pre-trek briefing answered any queries which we had. The team on the trek were also excellent - our guide Dafuri Sherpa was knowledgable and responsive to our requests, and the porters Nuru and Finju Sherpa were positive and professional. Their connections with local people meant that we were guaranteed a warm welcome at every place we visited. The whole of the valley was beautiful but there is no doubt that ascending Kyanjin Ri was the highlight

Overall, our trip to Kathmandu and Nagarkot was an amazing experience. Everything had been carefully planned and very well-spaced out regarding the scheduled activities. Our guide, Boippin, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and very responsive to our interests and preferences. Exploring the city was truly fascinating, with a variety of destinations, from buzzing markets to historical temples and palaces. Our short stay in the mountains (Nagarkot) was really restful, with the only disappointing part being the limited visibility and no view of the Himalayas. The Mystic Mountain is an amazing hotel, and the hiking possibilities in the area are endless.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering a visit to Nepal to opt for guided trips, as they seem the most efficient and safe way to see places, try local dishes and get a taste of Nepal in a limited space of time. Our guide (as well as our drivers) was excellent indeed, professional and passionate about his home land. Thank you, Sangita and team, for planning and delivering such a memorable travel experience to our family!

I have never been trekking before not even exercising, so all of my friends including myself so proud of me to reach the point at 4,850m, nevertheless I had to take the helicopter back for safety, Its a memorable experience and so precious for me and it couldn’t been done without our guide and the team, I will start to training my physical strength for the next round.

Chhewang and CT were the best companions and guides you could ask for.

This was an incredible, once in a life time trip. We took a 7 day Everest trek, with our last day being Ama Dablam base camp and then a helicopter ride over Everest basecamp. This enabled us to get a closer view of Everest. The views were amazing and the food was great. The trekking was difficult at times, but they did a good job balancing the level of difficulty. The places we stayed were definitely above average for the area.

I am 59 years old and in moderately good shape. I had no training for the trip and it was still very doable. We truly enjoyed our guides Chhewang and CT. They were accommodating and knowledgeable about the culture and area. They were with us from beginning to end.

The trip was easy to plan. We didn't know exactly where we wanted to go, but from our conversation, Chhweng was able to put a wonderful experience together. They did an amazing job of cultivating a personable experience. I would definitely do another trip without hesitation with them!

I honestly don't know where to begin. From the moment we began working with Amanda to plan our trip to Nepal, to the moment we returned home, everything was PERFECT. I had no idea how impactful our week would be and I would not have a changed a thing, except to have had the ability to have stayed longer! Every detail was perfect. We were very busy and packed a lot into just one week, but we still were able to experience so many different aspects of Nepalese culture, geography, food, and travel. Our guide, Rajive was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable, and his humor and overall personality made us feel like Nepal was home for the week. He is definitely one of the reasons my teenage son got so much out of "the best vacation ever". We have been home for over a week, and we still miss Nepal, Rajive, and all of the wonderful people we met along the way. We will definitely be back to visit and explore more of the beauty of Nepal; this trip changed us all forever and we are so thankful for the pictures and memories that will remind us that we need to get back sooner than later!

This trip was fantastic thanks to our guides and porters. They were some of the kindest people we met while in Nepal and were incrediblely knowledgeable about anything we had questions about. Himalayan Trails oversaw all of our trek and there was very little we needed to do besides hike. The mountains, people, and culture of Nepal will be an unforgettable part of the world for me moving forward! I can't wait to go back again!

Our family had an amazing trip on the Ghorepani / Poon Hill trek. We have a 5 year old and a 7 year old and Ngima and his team made the trip seamless and provided all the necessary support.

Dafuri was an excellent sherpa and his team were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Ngima and his team, they are professional and made our trip one we will never forget!

From start to finish the planning and execution by the team was amazing. I did the 4 day trek up to Muldai and back down through Ghorepani, my guide Wanchhu was great throughout, making sure everything ran smoothly. Kripa was in constant communication and always made sure everything was answered when I had questions. Big thank you to Sushmita as well who went out of her way to get my phone back when I left it in a cab on the first day. This team really goes the extra mile and I will be definitely be using kimkim in the future and recommending it to other people.

My recent trip (mid-March 2023) to Nepal was perfectly executed with help from Amanda at Himalayan Trails and the best guide you could hope for, Dawa. The guided site-seeing in Kathmandu was the perfect start to the trip, and provided a great deal of context around the culture and religions of Nepal before setting out on our trek. We explored the Nar-Phu valley for a week, which was incredible. For those looking for an off-the-beaten-path trek with few other people on the trails and a unique look back in time, this is the place for you. We then returned to the main Annapurna Circuit for a side-trip up to Tilicho Lake. Seeing the highest lake in the world was an absolute highlight. This truly was an incredible trip, made all the more easy by the seamless communication with Amanda. I also cannot speak highly enough about Dawa, who was extremely knowledgeable, adaptable to my needs, and also a great trekking companion who I shared many cups of tea and card games with along the way :) I would recommend KimKim, Himalayan Trails, and Dawa to anyone. Thanks so much for an incredible trip!

Me and my best friend, my soul sista, decided to make our first-ever trip together super special, so we decided to go to Nepal. We had never been and didn't know what to expect. We were welcomed with incredible professionalism, hospitality and speedy service in response to our millions of questions.

Nepal exceeded our expectations in everything! The trip was just amazing. Sangita helped us to plan everything we want to visit, provided very detailed information regarding everything. We didn't need to worry about anything. All the hotels were really nice and comfortable, the food was so delicious, we are going to miss it a lot! Our Kathmandu guide Bipin told us numerous interesting stories about Nepal and answered every crazy question we had :) Our trekking experience was also amazing, we very really excited with the mountains. And again we didn't have to think about anything as our guide Akaci was taking care of our route, meals, hotels.

My trip was amazing! Chhiring greeted me at the airport and we had tea on a rooftop with Chhewang. From there I started my short hiking trip and Chhiring was an amazing guide! I stayed in beautiful hotel selections thanks to their planning and they were both very helpful. I’m forever grateful to them for the amazing trip they planned and the beautiful spots and culture in Nepal they showed me! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our family and friend did the Gokyo Lakes region trek with Kim Kim. It was a fantastic but challenging trek for this guy coming off some knee and ankle sporting injuries. The trip was extremely well coordinated by Ngima and his team. Our guide, Angelu Sherpa, was very attentive and helped us stay safe, keep us on track logistically including through some steep, cold, snowy and icy trails while helping us get the best views and photos. The porters Kunga and Shiring Sherpa were part of team as well and very helpful our group. I give the Kim Kim Nepal team the highest recommendation and would recommend them without hesitation. One thing that I would encourage people to think about is that it can get very cold so layers and good sleeping bags and cold weather outerwear is essential and some sections of icy / snowy trail can benefit from micro-spikes. Angulu and our porters were superb. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip to Gokyo. The views of Everest and the other 8000s from Gokyo Ri and Rengo La were stunning. At one point we thought we were going to need to turn back due to snow, but the team kindly waited a day and helped us move quickly when the weather cleared. The tea houses were cold but comfortable, and everyone was very kind.

Having Ngima and his guides helped us tremendously in our expedition to Nepal.
