We had an amazing view but the room is a bit small. Staff are very friendly. Please take note no lifts so you will have to carry your luggage to the rooms yourself. Dinner at the hotel is very pricey so you may want to find an alternative place. Breakfast was very good.

The breakfast selection was amazing. Easy walking distance. Unfortunately we were there during a holiday so most places closed early.

We stayed in the cabin. We had to wait for our room for 2 hours past check in time. Things to take note are bedsheets & pillow cases are not provided & you have to pay extra for them. 5 mins drive away are nice places to eat & a supermarket.

We chose to stay in the hotel rather than the cabin as the cabins has no toilets but it was still nice. The staff was so friendly. Dinner at the hotel was very deliciously. Breakfast was intimate & so good. Highly recommend staying here if you are driving thru.

Wonderful intimate hotel. We recommend staying here if you are nearby. The staff so super friendly & our room was amazing. Dinner was pricey but it was so delicious. Totally worth it. Breakfast has not so much variety but it was sufficient for us. Everything so was so good.

It is quite a walk from the ferry terminal especially if you are wheeling your luggage. Staff are not so friendly. The rooms are super small & the room looks like it was partially renovated. Breakfast was nice but there were not so quick to top up finished breakfast items.

The family room we booked was nice but a bit small. We had to carry our luggage up a winding staircase & there are no railing for you to hold on to. The dinner at the restaurant was good. Everything we ordered was delicious. But breakfast was a disappointment. Everything was cold.

Hotel room was big & the breakfast selection was amazing, Quick walk from the Oslo Central Train station. There is a mall next to the hotel. Easy walking distance to the places of interest. Only downside, as the hotel is next to a stadium, & if your room faces that way during a match it is very noisy.

The trekking up it not for the unfit. Our guide was patient with us & walked slowly as it was through the forest. Although we could not see the glacier due to the weather, the view he showed us was still amazing.

Our guide Stig shared with us Oslo's history & he made the culinary experience customizable according to what we what to try. It was a fun walk.

Amazing! We got to see the Moskus Ox 10 mins into our trip. We were told we were very lucky. The Guide Erland was very knowledgeable & was very patient with us.

Our favorite hotel in Stavanger. Located right dockside where you can see all of the activity and beautiful overview of the approaches to the harbor. Watch all the ships come and go! And right downtown next to great walks and restaurants. Also a LOVELY breakfast in the morning was included. Just a really great place to stay!

John was a wonderful guide; so glad Anna found him for us. We walked the hills of Bergen and he gave us a great perspective on the history and evolution of Bergen over time. His love for the town was so apparent in our discussions.

Amazing location, loads of history, comfortable and very clean rooms, a bit dated but lovely stay overall and appeared to be the best place to stay in the area.

Boat trip was a lot of fun, gorgeous views of the fjords and villages, friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. The glacier museum is a must see! And getting up close to the glacier was a very cool experience.

Our fishing guide was absolutely wonderful! Excellent gear, very knowledgeable, very patient and stunning views from the water. And we caught a great diversity of fish!!

Loved Rosendal. Beautiful quaint town. Very serene and peaceful. Enjoyed the hike to the waterfall and the manor.

The Thon Hotel Oslo Airport was great. The dining room staff was amazing, and the food felt like it came from a five-star restaurant. The overall experience was absolutely delicious and enjoyable.

The Bergen Børs Hotel was fantastic, the front desk staff especially.

The Reine Rorbuer was my absolute favorite. The people there were amazing, and the place itself was the most beautiful I've ever seen. The kayaking activity during our stay there was also my favorite part of the whole trip.

The Svinøya Rorbuer was a nice fishing cabin with an amazing restaurant in a building from the 1800s. The staff took good care of us, but the town itself was a bit too industrial and less appealing.

The Thon Hotel Opera in Oslo was great. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The overall experience was pleasant.

The kayak tour on the Reinefjord was my favorite activity. Our guide was wonderful and made the experience unforgettable. Although we didn't get to see any orcas in the fjord, the conditions were perfect, and the overall experience was amazing.

The Fjord cruise was amazing. It was everyone's favorite activity during the trip. The scenery was breathtaking, and the experience was unforgettable.

We are not people who go on cruises so we were pleasantly surprised with our over all experience. The MS Richard With is a working cargo ship as well as a cruise ship so it's a pared down cruise experience is my impression. Lots of folks sitting with their knitting looking out on the fjords as we sailed by. As for food, we only opted for breakfast, which was excellent. We were very comfortable and had a very nice time. The best part was when a crew member spoke about certain islands we were passing and their history.

This hotel is a located in Nyhavn which is a very busy area. The hotel is near the sound, just around the corner from the theater and Ofelia Plads, a five minute walk from a pedestrian bridge that crosses the sound and about an eight minute walk from Kongens Nytorv, where the Royal Ballet is. The area between those points can be packed but it's about one of the prettiest areas in the city. We were in junior suites on the top floor, each had a sitting area or desk with a sleeping area upstairs under the eaves. The rooms were very comfortable, pretty and sunny. They can get warm from the sun and being at the top of the building but there is a window that opens and air-conditioning. The staff were EXTREMELY helpful, going out of their way to make sure we were aware of issues with road closures the day of our departure and helping us strategize the best way to get to the airport. The breakfast is very nice with lots of options and good coffee.

Hotel Britannia is a luxury hotel that really lives up to its reputation. The rooms are beautiful. The facilities--gym, pool, sauna and spa--are well-appointed. The whole place smells good. The staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast is out of this world good.

This is a good location because you are within a ten minute walk to anything you would want to see or do but it's a quiet street. We were there the weekend the local football team won the Norway cup and the town was going nuts but we couldn't here any of it from our hotel. Staff is helpful if not overly friendly. The lobby is nice to hang out in with tea and coffee available and the breakfast was high quality with lots of selection and good food. They do need to do a little bit of work on their rooms. The furniture is in noticeably poor shape and there are no black-out shades which can make sleeping in the summer months a bit difficult.

We used the Copenhagen card to travel out to the Louisiana Museum, it covered both the train and entrance to the museum. We also used it for the Rosenberg Castle and the metro. The number of attractions are staggering. We were biking around the city, but if you are relying on trains and busses or want to take day trips this is must have.

Tivoli Gardens is the 19th century prototype for our modern day theme parks. It is smaller than modern ones but it is so well designed that it feels much bigger than it is. The rides are fun, there is excellent food to be had and the landscaping is incredibly beautiful. We were there in spring when the flowers were in early bloom. We went on a Friday night when they have free concerts. The concert area was packed with locals coming to hear a very popular Danish rock band. There's also a laser show, a philharmonic and panto. Or if shopping is your thing, there are tchotchke shops galore.

We loved this tour and the tour guide. It is a two and a half hour walking tour that is worth every minute so wear comfortable shoes and maybe do some extra miles at home before your trip. Our guide had lived in the US for many years so her English was excellent. Her knowledge of the history of Denmark and Copenhagen is extensive but she is such a good story teller that she makes it come alive in interesting a surprising ways. She was able to customize the tour on the spot according to our interests which she picked up on through conversation.

I would recommend this for people who have some familiarity with kayaking. You don't need much experience but there are some tricky spots where it helps to know how to handle the kayak. That said, our guide did an excellent job of covering the basics, getting us geared up and in the kayaks.

Madga did an excellent job of explaining the history of Bergen and Norway. Her comments on Byrggen and Hanseatic heritage were especially enlightening. We covered a fair bit of ground, but the pace is gentle and she took care not to exhaust the members of the tour.

Food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Very unique experience that I wasn’t expecting!

Location, location, location! This couldn't have been a more beautiful location in a historic building. The hotel and room were charming. That being said, it did have its drawbacks. There is no elevator in the historic building and going up and down the stairs got old quickly. The walls are paper thin, we heard EVERYTHING from the couple nextdoor. The rooms are pleasantly attractive but could use an update. Beware of the hot water, it is scalding. The staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, the dinner buffet was a bit disappointing.

The trip is three hours out, two hours at Geiranger and three hours back. The only interesting scenery was within the last hour near Geiranger. Geiranger is very touristy and other than a beautiful little walk to a spectacular waterfall, had nothing to offer.

Beautiful old hotel with modern amenities. The Bar on the 3rd floor was a great experience and worth a special trip. If you want to get into the restaurant, you probably need to book a long ways ahead. Breakfast buffet was excellent!

One of the most beautiful and stunning hotels. Absolutely worth staying in the more expensive Swiss Chalet portion of the hotel. The Buffet was excellent if a bit pricy. Definitely an evocative experience.

Overall the hotel was incredible. The restaurant was a little less impressive although still decent. It is a little difficult to get around if you don't have a car although we were able to figure out the electric bikes and the bus.

A very fun walk through the town that brought us to many beautiful places. I think it would be amazing if we stopped off at some places along the way to try local foods, or see some local craftsmen etc. Also would have loved just a bit more history. Overall a great morning.

This was a great experience. We especially loved hearing about Thor's experiences growing up and some of the history of Balestrand. I think we had wished for just a bit more history mixed in such as of the vikings and of Norway as a whole. Fishing was fun too!

I went into this thinking it would be a bit of a tourist trap nightmare. However, it ended up being one of the prettier and more enjoyable experiences of the trip. I loved stopping off to get some goat cheese and I almost wish we could do a second stop as well. Paulina was excellent!

Absolutely worth a special trip. A gorgeous church although it is smaller than it looks in the photos. We had our taxi wait on the other side of the Vindhellavegen and walked up and over the top. It was not a difficult walk and was a very cool experience.

A wonderful walk through the city that gave a lot of character. We especially loved stopping off at the coffee shop and might have actually enjoyed a few more stops along the way. Also enjoyed the personal take although we wished for just a bit more history.

I can’t recommend this destination enough. Easy transport from the train, and hugely authentic accommodations. The real deal, not faux. Amazing dinners in a beautiful setting. If there’s a candle shortage in Aurland it’s because of them. Be sure to ask for the wood fired hot tub. The experience of a lifetime. But, moreover, be sure to ask for Anders as your guide. He’ll customize an itinerary for you and treat you like his best friends. We’d go back just for Anders!

Perfect location. Great breakfast. Rooms sumptuous. No complaints at all. Once the renovations are complete I’d be sure to ask for a loft room!

The farm tour was amazing. The woman who owns the farm took us on a hike on her property and showed us a summer cabin where she made us Norwegian pancakes. We learned about her family's life there and how she is trying to preserve it for generations. It was a unique and special experience that we wouldn't have had as average tourists.

We had a private group waterfall hike with our guide Anders. He was super cooperative and adjusted the hike to our capabilities since we were in our 60s and 70s. It was a great experience, especially because he was more than willing to customize the hike for us.

We did a dinner cruise on our first night in Oslo which was suggested by Christina. It was a good way to see the city while we were tired from traveling. The cruise was fine, but not the greatest.

This Inn was a 5 star review all around! We had rented two of the cabins right on the water and it was literally a dream. Everyone at the inn was so nice and welcoming, and the food at the Gastro Pub was some of the best we had on the trip!

This hotel was currently under a remodel when we stayed and wasn't in the best condition in terms of the rooms and their cleanliness, but the staff was more than accommodating and it was a great location for what we were looking for.

Experiencing Constitution Day in the city center was amazing, but definitely a lot rowdier than I expected! We were able to see everything and participate when we wanted to, and retired to our apartment throughout the day for naps and some peace and quiet among the busy day!

This was by far our favorite experience of our trip!! The guides were amazing and so fun, and the experience being on the water and getting to go further into the fjords was amazing.

While these were great to see, I think if we could do it over again we would rent a car instead of having a taxi driver give us the tour. These two places were amazing to see though, I definitely wish we would have had more time to see the Stave church.

This experience was amazing! While our crew struggled with comfort due to the wetsuits, the experience was still so amazing and the guides were so insightful and fun!

John gave us our walking tour and he was so friendly and insightful! He gave us some great recommendations of where to spend our free time the next couple of days and it was just such a great start to our trip!

The scenery on this trip is beautiful. We had an amazing tour guide Steg, who kept us entertained and gave us so much information. When there was construction at a tunnel it messed our time line up a little and he rearranged our day a bit and you would have not even known the day was not as planned.

The views from this cruise were some of the prettiest views I have ever seen. The captain made sure to slow the boat down and get up close to waterfalls and scenery he knew everyone would want pictures with.

The food was fresh and delicious. Having Cornelius pick us up in his boat and bring us to the restaurant made it so special.
