Beach Day on Paros

Beachgoers at Kolymbithres
Paros is renowned for its incredible sandy beaches, attracting visitors from all over the world. Enjoy a leisurely day soaking up the sun and swimming in the crystal-clear, turquoise-hued waters. Choose from one or more of the following suggestions:

  • Kolymbithres Beach. Kolymbithres is perhaps the most famous beach on Paros, thanks to its interesting geology. The granite rock formations are millions of years old and have created unique scenery reminiscent of a sci-fi movie set!
  • Ai Yannis/Monastiri Beach. Ai Yannis, also known as Monastiri, is a laid-back beach west of Naoussa. It sits in a romantic bay encompassed by a stunning natural landscape and green waters. Every year from June until September, a festival takes place at the beachside park. Pop in to enjoy moonlight concerts, outdoor films, and other events, all within a few steps from the beach!

  • Chrissi Akti Beach. Known as the “Golden Coast” in Greek, Chrissi Akti is one of the most popular places in the Mediterranean for windsurfers. The Windsurfing World Championship was held here for many years. The golden sand, crystal-clear waters, beach bars, and restaurants attract tourists and offer a memorable experience.
