With your guide leading the way, you’ll visit three authentic restaurants in beloved local neighborhoods, sampling traditional Venetian cuisine. Try cicchetti (similar to appetizers or tapas), seafood, and risotto, accompanied by wine, prosecco, and spritz.

You’ll start in the evening, just as tourists begin to leave the city for the day. Meet your local guide in the authentic Venetian neighborhood of San Polo. Here, enjoy an introduction to the flavors of Venice before heading off in search of local specialties. At this time, Venetians head to the cafes and bars to enjoy their Aperitivo ritual, pairing pre-dinner drinks with light snacks.

Your guide will take you to three of our favorite local osterie, where you'll sample traditional cicchetti featuring calamari, salami, grilled polenta, and more. You’ll devour baskets of fried seafood and plates of piping hot risotto. At each stop, learn about the dishes you're eating and enjoy complimentary drinks. Sip locally made prosecco straight from the tap, refreshing wines, and Venice's favorite aperitif, the spritz. Be sure to come hungry; there's a lot to eat!
