Comfort Hotel Karl Johan, Oslo
Centrally-located hotel with stylish design, a popular restaurant and bar, and modern rooms
Overview
Comfort Hotel Karl Johan is a simple, modern hotel on Oslo's famous Karl Johan Street. Here, you'll be conveniently close to popular attractions such as Oslo Cathedral, a minute's walk away, and other popular sites such as the Norwegian Parliament, Rådhuset, and The Viking Planet, all within about a 10-minute stroll.
You can choose one of many rooms spread across four interconnected buildings. Each unit is stylishly designed and features large windows overlooking the inner courtyard or the busy streets outside. Generally, rooms are small and simple, with amenities like flat-screen TVs, a small desk area, and bathrooms with showers. For more space, grab a Superior or Deluxe Double Room, which adds seating areas and bathtubs.
For dining, you can start your day with a breakfast buffet filled with organic options. At dinner time, Rodins Bar & Bistro, connected to the hotel's outdoor terraces, is highly recommended for its tasty burgers and drinks. In addition to the restaurant, the hotel also offers a 24/7 lobby shop for snacks and beverages, a gym open at all hours, and the convenience of late check-out on Sundays.
