Location

You'll find Park Hotel San Jorge & Spa just outside Platja d'Aro, a quick three-minute drive or 20-minute walk. The location is best for those looking for relaxation, as you'll be on a cliff overlooking the beach and coast. You can follow the coastal trail to many other beaches, including the sandy Platja Rovira or Platja Can Cristus, with its rock formations. You can drive to Girona in about 40 minutes or Begur in roughly 25 minutes. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

You can choose from rooms and suites, all with a contemporary style and bright, airy decor, though some are in a newer part of the hotel. Many units offer balconies or terraces with sea views; some even have porches that lead right to the path to the beach. As with many Costa Brava hotels, units on the ground floor risk smelling a bit musty because of water damage. Still, all are perfectly comfortable. Families can book rooms that fit up to five guests.

The hotel's exceptional amenities include an outdoor pool, a spa, a fitness center, and direct beach access. The two restaurants offer different experiences, with the elegant main eatery serving Mediterranean cuisine focusing on seafood and the casual restaurant offering grilled seafood and tapas on the terrace. The indoor lounge and bar feel a bit stark, but you can easily take your bites and drinks out onto the deck and enjoy the views and sounds of the coast.
