1 Week in Spain - 5 Unique Itinerary Ideas
With one week in Spain, you can take a fast-paced trip to experience Spain's top cities, Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville. Or dive deeper into one region by sampling the legendary cuisine of the Basque Country, laze on Mediterranean beaches, tour Madrid, or enjoy some unique culture in the southern Andalusia region. Below we list five different itineraries that show you how.

Barcelona & Rural Catalonia - 7 Days
This active weeklong adventure starts in cosmopolitan Barcelona where you'll explore the city's best landmarks, sail in the Mediterranean, and tour a stunning monastery tucked away in the mountains. From here, head north to Vic—a rural town surrounded by dreamy medieval architecture and hiking trails in the foothills of the Pyrenees.

Best of Spain Highlights Tour: Seville, Madrid & Barcelona - 7 Days
Check off Spain's three most exciting cities for a weeklong adventure you won't soon forget. The trip starts in Seville where you'll explore the best rooftops, tapas, and flamenco performers in the historic center. Then, train to Madrid (by way of Córdoba) and wander through the elegant streets and Prado Museum. Finish in cosmopolitan Barcelona for beachy vibes and a private tour of La Sagrada Familia.

Barcelona & the Costa Brava - 7 Days
This weeklong adventure combines a mix of private tours and free time for the ultimate introduction to Spain's Catalonia region. Kick off the week in cosmopolitan Barcelona for Gaudí architecture, tapas bars, and Mediterranean beaches. Then head north to the Costa Brava for kayaking, Dalí culture, and wine tasting—all while staying in a medieval town loaded with great restaurants.

Best of Andalusia: Seville, Ronda & Málaga - 7 Days
This weeklong adventure takes you from Seville to Málaga through a beautiful section of Spain's southern coast. Along the route, you'll experience Andalusia's iconic "white villages" (like Ronda, set on a spectacular gorge) as you head toward the Atlantic coast while discovering Roman and Moorish architecture, picturesque landscapes, and local cuisine—often with the help of private guides.

Northern Spain Road Trip: Madrid to Basque Country - 7 Days
In just a week, you can embark on the road trip of a lifetime from Spain's capital to its stunning Basque Country. The adventure begins in Madrid with city tours before hopping in your rental and driving north to La Rioja, one of Spain's most beautiful wine regions. After a tasting, you'll continue on to Basque Country, where tours of San Sebastián's historic center and Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum await.

Ultimate Food, Culture & Wine Tour of Spain - 7 days
This week-long itinerary packs a lot of culture and activities into just a few days. The adventure begins in Barcelona with a tour of the city on foot and by helicopter. Then you're off to Madrid to see the city sights as well as attend an authentic flamenco performance. Finally, you'll head to Córdoba, a city known for beautiful medieval architecture and Moorish influences.

Family Trip to Spain: Barcelona & Madrid - 7 Days
In just one week, you can enjoy the perfect family holiday in Spain by visiting the two most iconic cities in the nation: Madrid and Barcelona. You and your family will enjoy the highlights of each and have plenty of opportunities to try Spain's world-famous (and inherently kid-friendly) cuisine and even take a day trip to the always entertaining medieval fortress city of Toledo.

Off the Beaten Path in Madrid & Barcelona - 7 Days
With a full week, you can experience both the highlights of Spain's most famous cities like Madrid and Barcelona. Not only that but on this seven-day whirlwind itinerary, you'll also find time for day tours to historic towns outside the nation's capital. And when you do finally end up in Barcelona, prepare yourself for a delicious food tour and sunset sailing experience on top of visiting its most famous neighborhoods.
