This was such an amazing trip, it will take a while to fully review.
All the transportation was excellent with only two small exceptions. Our standout driver was Nico in Mendoza
All the hotels were perfect and all had great staff, facilities and location. Our standout hotel was Hotel Eco Boutique Bidasoa, with Blanca Patagonia Boutique Inn being a close second. Everywhere we were well welcomed. Casa Glebinias was absolutely lovely and Casa Sur Ricoleta well located.
Our guides were excellent and our standout was Andrea in Mendoza.
The wineries were wonderful and our favourites were Santa Rita, Bodega Benegas, but Luigi Bosca was the standout for sure.
Other tours were great with the standouts being touring the markets and cooking with Chef Tatan in Santiago. It was truly amazing! We also loved the Captain’s Table cruise to the glaciers in Patagonia - what an experience! The ranch in Buenos Aires was lovely and the Gala Tango show was very enjoyable.

The whole trip was amazing. We particularly enjoyed some tailored experiences such as the kayaking and the condor watching in Patagonia.

Our trip was incredible - the experiences Angel planned were amazing, including an authentic Asado BBQ meat tasting with the best steak I've ever had, a Tango Show, some incredible hikes with excellent local guides and stunning views, and a tour to interact up close with penguins. I learned so much about the areas we visited, and it was the perfect activity level for our group. We had regular communication with our local experts throughout the trip, which was very helpful. There was a bit of a snafu with the driver, but Angel and the local experts were quick to remedy.

We had an incredible experience travelling to Argentina and Chile. The activities planned were perfect for our group - including dinner/show reservations, cave tours, hiking, penguin excursions, and more. Our guides for the hikes were fantastic. The travel arrangements were generally well communicated, and our drivers were friendly and pretty punctual. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!

Our trip to Chile was amazing and so much of that is thanks to the exceptional people who guided and supported us at each stop.

Camila, our main organizer, deserves special recognition. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine care shaped the entire experience. Every transfer, tour, and connection felt effortless because she was always one step ahead. You could feel how much pride she takes in showcasing her country, and it made all the difference. She was also very patient and worked hard to get the itinerary just right.

We were also fortunate to have wonderful local guides throughout the trip. Each one brought their own personality, expertise, and passion for Chile’s landscapes, culture, and history. Whether we were exploring cities, tasting incredible food and wine, or taking in the natural scenery, our guides made every moment richer and more meaningful. Shout out to Ignacio and Jennifer who showed us around Santiago and out to the coast, Marco who spent the day with us at the geysers and desert and has a great passion for the country and photography, and every other tour was great! We appreciated and genuinely enjoyed our time with each guide. There's no part of the trip we wouldn't recommend!

We had a great time on our Chile vacation organized by KimKim!
Amazing scenery around San Pedro de Atacama, in particular the high elevation drive to and visit of the Tatio Geysers with guide Diego, and the Valley of the Moon hike. We saw many vicunas and flamingos!
In the Lake District town of Puerto Varas our stay at Casa Molino was amazing, with an other worldly view of Vulcan Orsono across Lago Llanquihue, with the full moon rising. Our guide there Patricio was very knowledgable on our beautiful tours of Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales and of Isla Grande de Chiloe.
The final destination in our travels to Patagonia's Parque Nacional Torres del Paine offered amazing natural scenery. Staying in/near the park at Hotel Lago Grey Hotel and Los Torres Patagonia was worth it, allowing us to experience the evenings and mornings in the park. The boat tour on Lago Gray to the glaciers was beautiful. And our ultimate experience, the all day hike to the the spectacular Torres Mirador was a life experience - very challenging and totally worth it. Our Patagonia driver Daniel and guide Leo were both excellent in informing us about the history, culture and environment of Patagonia and answering our many questions.
Overall our trip to Chile was well organized by Kimkim, with seamless transport between airports, hotels and tours which allowed us to concentrate on enjoying our holiday and the amazing scenery of Chlie.

Hotel Casa Molino

We really enjoyed Casa Molino, one of nicer hotels at which we have stayed. The hotel is a grand house in the countryside and right on Lago Llanquihue, with a view across to Vulcan Orsono that is unreal. We had a 2nd floor very comfortable room with huge windows facing that amazing view. The grounds and the house are immaculately kept and beautifully designed, with peaceful indoor and outdoor areas to relax and take in the view. The property has a nice short garden walk down to the lakeshore to its small beach, very nice. While staying at Casa Molino we had all our dinners there, the food and service was some of the best we had during our travels in Chile.

This seems to be a grand country house that was converted to a botique hotel. The design of the house and the interiors is nice, warm, serene and inviting to just relax and take in the view. The grounds area also beautiful and well kept and a beautiful backdrop to the lake and house.

Location

Right on the lake and the view of Vulcan Orsono is world class. The hotel is in a rural location away from Puerto Varas which I consider a plus - quiet, peaceful and relaxing. There are country roads around that look interesting for walks and biking, we did not have time to try this.

We very much enjoyed hiking in the Valley of the Moon and experiencing this completely unique desert scenery. After the hike we drove further into the park to see the Tres Marias which we could have skipped, not as interesting in our opinion. Then to a nice viewpoint overlooking the Valley of the Moon and San Pedro for snacks and cocktails at sunset which was nice.

Marcela was an absolute angel! This trip would not have happened without her. I picked places I wanted to see, things I wanted to do, set a budget and let her pick the rest. All the transportation was on time and professional. All the hotels were beautiful with wonderful service. This was the trip of a lifetime seeing things I’ve only ever dreamed about. If I could do it over, I would spend more time in puerto natales and Torres del Paine as well as spend time in el Chalten instead of el calafate! The communication that Marcela provided from start to finish was amazing. I had never booked with a travel company before and this experience won’t be able to be topped. My guides in Puerto Natales were one of my favorite parts of the trip. Both through Patagonia Planet. Jhon on the all day bus tour through Torres del Paine was phenomenal! Paz on the lago Sarmiento hike in the park was incredible. You could tell they love what they do and love to share the area with people who appreciate it!

I loved everything in my trip. I had a wonderful hotels, tours. Even when things did not go right ( because of the flight) everything was rearranged and I did not loose any experiences. I am definitely coming back with my family to explore Patagonia. Thank you

Chile is a far away destination so I searched and decided to try out KimKim and get to work with Francisco. I loved that the tours and transfers were setup with such ease and every tour was very organized with the friendliest people. Communication before and during the trip was all done very simply through the KimKim site or WhatsApp. Some of the favorite tours in Chile were the Valparaiso/Vino Del Mar/Winery, Grey Glacier, and of course the highlight was the Base of the Torres hike. The weather also cooperated for the most part the entire week we were there—the wind is absolutely not a joke either.

Kimkim organised a self guided tour for us in Patagonia, Chile from Puerto Natales and then into Torres del Paine National Park . All communication from the planning stages 10 months prior right up until the end of the trip was handled efficiently and promptly. Once the tour had commenced Kimkim were on hand 24/7 to resolve any issues we might have. The itinerary ran like clockwork except for one issue, but after contacting our agent this problem was very quickly resolved and this didn't affect our plans at all. Everything which was planned for our time in Torres del Paine went without a hitch. The transfers to and from the airport, bus station, to the hotels and into the park were always on time. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This is the second time I have used Kimkim to organise a trip for me.

The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was very expensive and the food very average.

Our guide and driver were the best. Our guide knew so much and gave us fantastic commentary. Our driver was a very competent and safe driver.

The seats on the bus were very narrow so for two people sitting side by side it was squashy. The storage nets on the back of all the seats had all been removed so nowhere to store a water bottle etc.

I cannot express enough regret for booking my trip to Chile through Kimkim. If it could go wrong, it did. At the end of the second day, every part of my trip that they were responsible had gone south.
Starting with the airport transfer- our driver was a road raging lunatic. With six tourists in the back, he spent over thirty minutes chasing down another vehicle trying to pin it in. He was finally successful and then went to confront the other driver while completely forgetting he had customers in the back. Some of the other travelers were shocked while others were terrified. To me it was beyond unprofessional, and my partner and I ended up having to walk to our hotel
The hotel provided by Kimkim was pleasant except for terribly rude staff. Then our first tour was cancelled with little notice. We were not offered to have it rescheduled or provided a refund. Turning to the second tour, we were promised English speaking guides. When the tour operator picked us up, he told me that he didn’t speak any English and whoever we booked the tour though (Kimkim) dropped the ball because his company did offer English speaking guides. When I contacted Kimkim about this, they said there was an emergency with the English-speaking guide, so we got put on the other tour.
The part of my trip I was looking forward to the most was going to the port city of Valparaiso for New Year’s Eve. After paying in full, Kimkim told us that we could not do that tour on that day because it would be too crowded and we could do a food tour instead. After the second day and the tour going horribly, I reached out to our tour operator and told him to cancel everything and refund the remainder. We paid Kimkim $3,590 for a 7 day tour, cancelled after the second day, and they refunded $370.
After cancelling the remaining trip, I rebooked hotels and went through Viator. It was much smoother with zero headaches. We even made it to Valparaiso on New Years Ever and had an amazing time. I would avoid this company at all costs.

We used Kimkim to help plan a one-week adventure in Chile, and honestly, it was one of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made.

From the very beginning, the process felt easy and collaborative. We went back and forth with them on what we thought we wanted to do, and they did all the heavy lifting — researching, suggesting better options, and refining the plan until it was exactly what we were excited about. They weren’t just plugging in generic activities — they were actively improving our ideas.

Once the trip started, the experience got even better.

Riwal and Alex were incredible. They were always available on WhatsApp and responded quickly any time we had a question, needed help, or wanted suggestions — even for things like restaurant recommendations. At one point we accidentally left our phone at a hotel, and they jumped right in and coordinated everything to help get it back to us. That kind of support takes the stress out of travel in the best possible way.

It felt less like dealing with a travel agency and more like having extremely competent friends on the ground in Chile who actually had our backs.

If you want a trip that feels thoughtfully planned, flexible, and fully supported while you’re traveling — Kimkim is absolutely worth it. We would use them again without hesitation.

She's always responsive. Our flight was delayed so we missed the connection on day 1, Lorena and Valentina helped secure last seats on new flights and saved the day! Our grand trip would have been ruined if it weren't for their help.

What a beautiful country Chile is and our two week trip was amazing and hassle free primarily due to the assistance of Camila with whom we interacted over a period of few weeks to come up with a perfect itinerary. Without her guidance, knowledge and input, it would have been difficult to plan a two week trip.

Once the trip started, on the ground support team of Riwal and Dayana ensured that we had up to date information of the plan for the day, and if there was any question, they both were available for immediate resolution. We did not encounter any issue at all that needed them to step in, which is a good sign in itself.

It was a full moon night and the provider knew we would not be able to do any star gazing given the brightness of moon light. So they should have actually canceled the tour and refunded the money. Instead they did take us on the tour to show one planet and share some information about couple constellations, however, this is not what we were hoping to see or what the Atacama night sky tour is famous for.

Hike to Mirador Base Torres del Paine - Full Day Tour

It was a tough 14 mile one day hike but seemed manageable thanks mainly due to the guides who ensured our safety, provided adequate support, made the long hike enjoyable by sharing information, lot of water breaks. At one particular pass, we were up in the mountain with a steep drop on one side and the wind gusts were really strong. The guides helped us navigate through that pass using ropes, which made it a lot safer for everyone to continue our hike. I appreciated this a lot.

We had the pleasure of staying during New Year's, and the staff was excellent. They were always asking us if we needed anything to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean. The location was away from the town, but we got to explore some hiking trails around the shoreline. We were a minor concern because of the flight path, but there were a few flights each day, most during midday when we were out and about on the island. The pool was a little green and seemed out of order, so we spent more time at the beach than at the pool.

Further away from town, about a half-mile walk to the main street. We were able to rent a car and enjoy the whole island, which made it even better. There are a few hotels closer to the city center, but they do not offer the views and sunsets available at Iorana.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff who were curious about how our stay was going and made sure we had whatever we needed to enjoy it. Breakfast service was fantastic, and the staff were very polite and accommodating. Location was great to walk to restaurants, the shoreline, and the city center for shopping. The view was the best part! WOW!

Not a welcoming front desk presence. Did not have hot water for the first 3 days staying at the hotel. Was told it was a regional issue, not a hotel issue (for hot water?) Once we did get water, it was lukewarm at best. The hotel was doing renovations during our stay and did not mention it, which was the real issue, as work crews were installing new water heaters that lay throughout the hallways. The rooms were designed like a cheap motel with paper-thin walls. The single person working the breakfast service was the only positive, inviting person. The location was pretty good, but there are a few other options nearby that may be better.

The location was OK, located near the central plaza, restaurants, and shops. There were other hotels that were closer to the water that may have be more inviting.

Torres del Paine National Park - Private Panoramic Tour

Hampered by the weather, but we had a small window where the clouds parted, and we could see the mountain tops. Nacho, our guide, was great, very knowledgeable and inquisitive about if we were enjoying or stay.

The environment was incredible and very beautiful. We were able to experience the mountains, glaciers, incredible waters, pumas and other wildlife, and most of all - the WIND!

We had sack lunches from the hotel, which was poor soggy sandwiches and random bagged snacks.

I had an excellent experience with this travel company during my trip to Chile.
They truly understand what tourists are looking for and plan the trip accordingly, with great attention to detail.

They were always available and in constant contact with me 24/7, which made the whole journey smooth and stress-free.
They were also very flexible, accommodating changes and requests without any issues.

All of the guides arranged by the agency were local experts, able to provide considerable information on the native flora and fauna of the national parks we visited, but I have to give a special shoutout to our guide in Patagonia, Nacho, who was just wonderful. He made our family feel like we were his most important clients, did great photography for us, and entertained us all day. HIGHLY recommend a full day private tour with him if it can be arranged.

I also must give a shout out to Riwal. We had a few hiccups on our trip, none of which was the agency's fault, but he took care of us all along the way. He went to bat for us with the hotel when they lacked hot water for over a full day, and arranged a partial refund for the inconvenience. He was kind and generous with his time. The full team at KimKim was great.

Little bit of a walk to downtown and taxis weren't always available. For food (dinner/lunch), you either have to make a reservation before noon that day or they won't have food available and you might have to walk (~15 mins) to closest restaurants on main street.

Hotel was undergoing renovation, which is much needed. However, they lied to the agency about hot water not being available. Said it was a "sector" issue. There was clearly construction going on and, after escalating to our agency after over 24hrs of no hot water, the agency sent a representative by in-person who confirmed not a sector issue. Because we escalated, they did have workers working on regaining hot water to our room until 2AM on Christmas Eve. In addition to the hot water issue, the ceiling of our room had clear water damage, the carpet was disgusting, beds were basic, and there was almost a 1" gap between the bottom of the room door and the floor. Patagonia is a very windy place so the wind would come through and move the shades around all night long. This "hotel" is more like a run down motel. I only hope the renovations are done properly as it could have potential, but lying to hotel guests is a complete NON-starter for me. Would never stay there again. Only positive I can give is the staff that ran the breakfast room downstairs was always welcoming.

Our driver was so sweet! She knew our luggage was too big for her car, so she arranged for a cousin to come help from across the island. Both were very welcoming and gave us a parting gift. Far more than I could expect from a transport experience.

Jimena from KimKim was truly wonderful to work with. She met with us over zoom several times to go over our goals and ideas for the trip, and she helped us work out all logistics. When we were in Chile everything worked perfectly and we felt very taken care-of. Even when one of our excursions was cancelled, KimKim had already rebooked us on a new one before we even knew there was an issue. We will definitely use them again for future travel abroad plans!!

It was nice having a air conditioned van!

Francisco helped us design our perfect trip to Patagonia and Atacoma. He gave us options for various tours and recommended the must see sites at each location. It was patient and worked through multiple relations as we find tuned the number of days in each part of the trip. Once we picked exactly what he wanted to do, he arranged all of the hotels, tours, transfers, and in country flights. Everything went flawlessly minus one hiccup with a tour in Santiago but kimkim immediately found us another option that worked out even better.

Highly recommend kimkim and Francisco. Their website allows them to communicate very effectively and we received the information we needed for the next day every evening. We didn’t have to spend any time hunting for tickets, boarding passes, etc.

Finally, the hotels were great and very comfortable.

The most beautiful view you could imagine. The hotel, like most hotels in the town, or a little further from the center then you might expect but it was not at all inconvenient. We walked in several times but also there are taxis. Property isn’t fancy but it is clean, family friendly, and perfect for a trip to Patagonia. Highly recommend!

This is an absolute must. The overall experience is fantastic. The boat is clean with great Internet service and the views are unbelievable. They take you to a restaurant in the park for lunch and bring you right up to the glaciers. The trip from town is surprisingly short so it does not become a very long day.

Marcela was amazing and instrumental in planning our excellent Chile adventure. She was always ready with excellent ideas and understood exactly how we wanted to spend our time as a family enjoying the sites. Every detail was taken into consideration with care from who was picking us up, at what specific time and for how long and even what up bring or wear was included in the detailed information that Marcela offered.
