Loved that this hotel was right on the beach. I wish we had stayed here longer than one night.

The location of the hotel had amazing views of the ocean; however, to reach the hotel you had to take a boat. There is no dock so the staff had to hold the boat in the surf so that you could climb out of the boat into the water. For older people this is a real challenge.

The views from this hotel were amazing. The room was well appointed and very clean. Staff were very welcoming.

Kendall, our guide, was amazing. It was the best snorkeling experience I have ever had. I am extremely uncomfortable in deep water and Kendall made sure I felt safe with him. We saw some beautiful fish , turtles and stingrays and Kendall dove down and took amazing photos .

Our tour guide was very friendly and well versed in the area. A couple of people in our group were afraid of heights and he so patient in helping them overcome their fears of the swinging bridges.

Our guide, Juan, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He found all kinds of animals and birds that I could never have seen without his expertise.

I wish the hot springs had been better. The locker rooms were very small and a bit run down. The hot spring was quite small as well. We had dinner at the springs which was a buffet. It really was not up to par.

Priscilla and her husband are excellent hosts. She is an amazing cook and the dinner was wonderful! Loved being in someone's home to enjoy the full culture of Costa Rica.

Our view from our room was amazing. The people are very friendly and helpful.

The beach Was beautiful and the room was very nice. We would not have minded to stay two days instead of one

This hotel was an amazing experience. Our only way to go anywhere was by boat.

Very noisy hotel with parties and music. We didn’t have a lot of areas to sit and chat with our friends.The hotel was too far from the airport for our arrival and departure when we passed at least two or three on the road before we got to our destination.

After being a little nervous about walking on the bridges, my guide helped me and made me comfortable with crossing all of the hanging bridges. We really enjoyed this activity

Our group expected to be in pools that were more authentic with warm Hot Springs water. We felt that we were in regular swimming pools with hot Water running down into the pools of 75° water. Our hike with the volcano was a lot of fun.

Our hosts were truly amazing. We enjoyed our experience helping prepare dinner and then eating our dinner. Our house were friendly, caring and interested in us and our customs

Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, but the best part was the outdoor patio with hammock overlooking the volcano and surrounded by jungle. Just a short taxi into the town for meals, but we did have a couple dinners at the restaurant on side, which we very much enjoyed.

My favourite place hotel of the whole trip! We were greeted by Specialle, who was lovely and recommended great restaurants and things to do. She recommended we book a paddling tour of the mangrove, which we did and so glad we did! We made use of their outdoor yoga pad which included all the mats and blocks. The rooms was surrounded by tropical plants and the sound of howler monkeys in the morning. While swaying on the hammock, you can hear the iguanas pitter pattering on the roof. The pool was an excellent addition on the hot afternoons, and the bar, El Local, made the best Chiliguaros that we enjoyed our last night! I will definitely be here again.

Senda is a short 10 minute walk into town, however I should add that the way back is all uphill! They had wonderful activities on site, we took advantage of an afternoon yoga class after a long hike. Amazing breakfast and cocktails.

Alonso was our tour guide and it was so fun! Saw a lot of wild life and he was very knowledgeable about the area. Tabacon is an absolute must and the dinner was delicious. This might have been my favourite tour of the trip.

Our first day was spent doing the chocolate, coffee and sugar cane tour and it was very informative! You can tell the guide truly enjoys what he does and it was great to learn all the process of how these things are made and produced, along with the rich history.

This was the only time we saw sloths the whole thanks to Jose! We saw 4 and he was apologetic that we didn't see more, but he didn't need to be. We were so happy - and we even saw some poison dart frogs that we definitely would not have seen without a guide! He dropped us off in town after so we could explore the shops and restaurants.

Superb service from all staff in this beautiful resort!! The Royal Corin really treats all of their guests like royalty! The rooms are beautiful with wonderful balcony views of the property with every amenity you could ask for. We were very impressed with the way all of the staff went out of their way to make you feel special and assist in any way possible. Jillyan and David were wonderful!!

We stayed at this hotel overnight after arriving late into San Jose and left early in the morning. People were great, hotel spotless and bed was comfy!

Great place to stop overnight before an early flight. In low traffic it's about a half hour shuttle from the hotel. It has a great roof top swim pool and is full of really interesting art.

Lovely, small hotel in the rainforest with great views. All the food is certified gluten free and much of it grown on the owners farm I am told. Several kilometres from downtown Uvita.

Incredible hotel. The Views of the ocean and surrounding rain forest were amazing. People were great! We had our wedding anniversary dinner in their incredible dining room and they provided us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and turned out the lights and lit our deserts with candles and played Perfect by Ed Sheerhan and it was perfect! Be ready for lots of stairs if you don't get a ground floor suite! The suites were to die for from all of the amenities and the views!

Great hot spring pools with swim up bar. The sushi bar at the pool is amazing! People were awesome. The place was spotless! The volcano could be seen from your room! We were greeted with a hot towel and a refreshing drink!

Helpful staff, natural surrounding with beach access to Playa Hermosa. Not too crowded.

Our guide, Kenneth, was fantastic. We had him as our private guide for the days and he made our first contact with the rainforest and its wildlife fantastic.

Stay here!! We loved the pool, the spa, and the service. Food was decent overall.

We got to see both types of sloths, which made walking in the rain for an hour absolutely worth it.

An experience that should be thrilling but with many people on site, there's a lot of queuing and every zip line is super fast-paced. No time to enjoy the scenery.

The hike in itself is amazing but the whole group moves fast and doesn't allow much time to enjoy all there's to see and experience.

this was very close to the beach but right in the middle of the jungle. Monkeys everywhere. Beautiful pool areas. lovely bar and cocktails. Close to our favorite restaurant....Emilios cafe. We could walk there. Woke up to beautiful bird sounds and some Howler Monkeys. Umbrellas available in the lobby for the guests which were big and nice. We needed them a couple of times and it was nice to have such sturdy big umbrellas to use. Nice balcony off of room to enjoy the jungle.

Wonderful views of the volcano when not in the clouds. Fabulous breakfast buffet and lovely dinner in the evening.

this was other worldly. If you have not been in a Mangrove forest, it is so cool. We went late afternoon which was pretty nice for seeing birds, snakes, monkeys, etc. Even the bats at dusk were so cool to watch swooping close to the water

This was a great place to see all of the wildlife. Since it is the busiest park in Costa rica, there were a lot of people there. Our guide had 4 couples, which we appreciated in order to see and hear our guide at all times. There were many other larger groups of people. All of the guides were friendly to each other and helped each other spot specific animals. the beach here was busy, so we just walked the beach and put our feet in and saved our beach day for another time.

We went to this in the evening when it was dark. I would have loved seeing it during the day, but our experience was very cool. While we were in the Hot springs, we were also in a thunderstorm and rainstorm. We were in the Hot Springs for about 1 1/2 hours and then had a nice buffet dinner afterward. This reminded me a bit of the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, commercialized but a fun night and experience

We loved our guide Franklin. It was just the four of us and Franklin on our guided hike. We learned a lot and loved his description and passion for everything he shared. The Volcano was hidden behind clouds but Franklin was positive we would see it 100 percent as we acsended on our hike. He was right, A glorious site!

this was a nice self guided tour of this park. The waterfalls are beautiful. You should take time to see all 5. We spent about 3 hours including lunch here. We did the longer hikes which were right in the middle of the greenest forest.

The hanging bridges walk was excellent and really interesting; the zip lining was lots of fun!

The site was beautiful with the pool, hot tub and trails and of course the site of the volcano if not too cloudy. The breakfast was wonderful as well as dinner and personnel at the restaurant very friendly and helpful. The room and front desk personnel were ok. It is out of the way at about 30 minutes of the more touristy La Fortuna area so driving in daytime is better but worth the drive away from the crowds. On our walk in the trails, we got to see a toucan up close and beautiful eucalyptus trees.

Rooms are big, comfortable and with much light! The staff is great and super helpful! Very close to the Marina and restaurants (also if you're into CrossFit there's a box nearby) ;) My only issue was the the wifi was a bit slow and not very powerful in the rooms, other than that it's a good place to stay!

Amazing location super close to all restaurants, cafés, and shops. Easy to walk around the area as well and found the best pizza nearby! The staff is super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but the bed is very comfortable and it's a great place to stay if you're planning on moving around the area.

Great location in the downtown area. Easy access to restaurants, cafés, and shops. Super quiet and comfortable place. It feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but with an on-point location!

Great tour and staff. The food was delicious as well. The whole tour took around 3 hours, but it was probably because of the weather conditions that didn't allow us to stay longer.

Loved it! Got to see monkeys, birds, and some other cool flora and fauna! 10/10 would recommend Jacamar tours. A must for taking great pictures ;)

Would recommend the tour because the guide was super helpful and knowledgeable, but would check the weather if you're planning on taking the nature walk at night. Unfortunately, heavy rain doesn't let you see much. Other than that, I learned a lot about coffee :)

Beautiful hotel, great views(pool, patio, ect), nice staff, town foods and shopping are over priced. Walking distance to the beach.

Did not like walking up 4 floors to our room. Other then that the staff was nice and hotel was walking distance to the town. Food and shops were great as well.

Okay hotel but didn't like San Jose. Had free breakfast and staff was friendly. A/C didn't work in our room the first night.

Do it! I got to see flying toucans while ziplining.

This was not on our visit at first. Then after arriving and speaking to the locals and visitors. We learned how amazing the national part was. We opted to do a private tour and it was better then we could of hoped for. Wish we would of had time to enjoy the park beach, but we will for sure next time.

Breath taking experience. Horses are so fun and make the travel to the falls so easy. You fall in love with your horse and get to know there personalities. Horse guides are fun and make you smile. Horse guides also teach you a lot about riding a horse. Lunch after visiting the falls is amazing as well.

We saw a momma and baby sloth. The tour guys great and were able to find sloths just driving down the road. We got to see 5 different sloths. Learned a lot about 2 and 3 toed sloths. We even saw other animals like a howler money. So cool!

Great experience, would do this again. It was raining very hard and we did not get to go down to the waterfall but we did go to the over look. Ecotermales hot springs was AMAZING! We got to swing in the hot spring and order drinks. Then had a nice all inclusive dinner. Must do if you visit La Fortuna.

Lovely hotel. We really enjoyed the location, since it's basically one of the closest hotels to the beach, as well as the the national park. Super easy to walk to the beach, and relax, or take a surf lesson. There is a bus stop, so if you want to go up the hill or to Quepos, it's like 350 colones to get on the bus, and it comes every 15 minutes. Super convenient. The rooms are small, but the air conditioning is good! The pool is warm, and the restaurant is at the sister hotel just down the road. Super convenient place to stay, and reasonable room rates.

This hotel gets 3 1/2 stars on tripadvisor, which is astounding to me. It's beautiful, the rooms are huge, and have a magnificent view, and it's not super expensive. We loved it the best of all of our costa rica hotels. I read through some of the reviews that gave the place 1 or 2 stars, and people were complaining about things like the bathroom being dark, or whatever. And we wonder why Americans get bad reputations as travellers. My kids and I loved this place. We had a room in the lowest building, so maybe that helped (ask for something low on the hillside.). However, we did see aboutis in the lawn, and we had giant french doors opening onto the lawn. It was heaven.

Fantastic hotel. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Beds were soft and towels were soft, I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and perfect for my mom and I. The exclusive beach access was wonderful, it is a bit of a hike up to your rooms. But Costa Rica is very hilly. Service was wonderful and anytime we needed a taxi they would call and get one to us quickly.

I definitely recommend not skipping this event. The hike was fantastic, the Hot Springs were perfectly warm. We got to experience them in the evening followed by a dinner.

It was very very dark. I think I underestimated nature at night, but the guide was helpful. I don’t think I would’ve spotted any of the animals without him. We got to see a snake and birds. The hike was easy and our guide was very knowledgeable!

This was a very personal and delicious meal. My mom and I got a private lesson and our chef was very personal. She made us feel right at home! She also sent us the recipe to make! Loved it

Easy, convenient and close to the airport.

Location location location! The room was lovely as was the food. Great pools. Great staff. Spanish colonial grounds which were well done. The best part of all? Several monkey sightings including eight outside our door. Three sloths in a tree just hanging out. You get the idea.
