The hotel itself was very modern and clean with a nice restaurant

Best hotel we stayed in. Wonderful pool and cabanas plus very nice bar area and restaurant. We were also within easy walking distance to the beach and national park

Limited stay for only 1 night

Our guide took us to many parts of the city explaining the different buildings and history of San Jose. We also learned about the political development of Costa Rica.

Quiet boat ride though the mangroves learning about the different types and how they live in salty water. Also saw many species of birds that the guide pointed out and explained.

This was probably the best guided hike we took as we saw and with our guide, took amazing pictures including a male, female and baby 3 toed sloths. Our guide took us back on a different path back to the entrance were we saw more beaches and flora and fauna

We saw and took incredible photos of insects and wildlife plus a toucan. I am amazing how the guide found the animals in the dark with a small flashlight

Very tranquil walk though the forest with scenic views of flora and fauna with our guide getting us amazing pictures. We even saw a quetzal which we understand is a rare sight

I was a bit apprehensive about doing the zip lining but it turned out to be quite thrilling. Guides were very helpful. Very tranquil walk though the forest with scenic views of flora though the mist and hanging bridges were amazing. Some rain on the walk but did not affect the views

Our guide was excellent in his explanation of coffee, chocolate and sugarcane processing and was also had a good sense of humour

Hike up to the volcano was nice and our guide was very informative but we could not see the volcano due to cloud. The waterfall was spectacular though the hike back up the steps was tiring for some. Have a bit of rain on both trips

Best views of any hotel I have stayed at. From the garden and pools to the sea, mountains, to the jungle. Several varieties of monkeys come by, and they had a mother sloth and baby in their huge garden.

Great pools with natural springs wandering around. Many iguanas on trees and rocks around pools. Restaurant not our fav because of all the Italian food. Pool food offered some choices including sushi. Expensive dinners. Would have liked more ethnic choices. Great breakfast choices. Excellent view of Arenal. Cabins are duplexes and lively

No snorkeling anytime near rainy season. Visibility only 3 feet. Many jellyfish and people getting stung. They had a mix to spray on the blisters. Good food and drinks and sunset lovely. Dolphins around and seabirds

Excellent and came back with great pictures thanks to the guides telephoto lenses. Then after finding the sloths and birds, monkeys, etc..,you come back and they have some great local food! Excellent

At the end they had some local food and drinks and chocolate demonstration. That was a lovely touch

Location-wise, the hotel was convenient, and the breakfast was excellent. However, the amenities could have been better to enhance the overall stay.

A fun crew. We were lucky to encounter dolphins and a mama whale and her baby.

I'm amazed at how much Andres can spot. All the guides, although from different companies, help each other out when they find interesting things.

This was an exhilarating adventure. The guides here are well prepared and clearly love what they do.

Saw so many things

Very informative and fun experience. Our guide Roberto pointed out many things, especially on our hike to the finca. Got everybody involved in the process

Rooms not updated, staffing less than welcoming. Breakfast was nice as well as location and layout of resort. Too many other choices in the area that may be better selection. Lots of walking from front desk to rooms.

Did not enjoy as overcrowded, noisy and opposite of relaxing. Buffet was not good. Not recommended, time or money.

Enjoyed the 20-mile ride towards volcano. Some pavement roads but many uneven surfaces. Bikes could have been in better shape. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

Better than expected. Guide was so patient for taking photos and informative. Had the opportunity to see an amazing sunset with volcano view. Definitely recommend for nature trail and wildlife viewing.

We were on the only ones so turned into private tour. Saw birds, monkey and beautiful view of volcano. Perfect day. We highly recommend

A lovely boutique hotel with the most friendly staff ever. The ground consist of beautiful mature trees with the rooms integrated into the landscape. The ocean is steps away and visible from the restaurant and upstairs bar. There is one smallish pool and a hot tub. The rooms are beautiful with a separate sitting room with a comfortable sectional sofa. The restaurant was very nice. The food was delicious but a little pricey. We found the upstairs bar menu a little less expensive but still delicious food. The staff were all very accommodating and made our stay extra nice. A massage by Angie was a perfect way to end our stay. She is a spectacular massage therapist and highly recommended

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous grounds and a series of hot springs to die for. You have several choices of hot springs with varying temperatures, a swim up bar, swimming pools and water slide. We spent so much time on the property and it was so relaxing. The rooms are HUGE and clean with lovely covered porches on the front and back. The food in the restaurant was very good. The breakfast buffet was included and a terrific variety of food, both traditional and local dishes. Even the gift shop had a nice selection of souvenirs with reasonable prices.

A rustic all inclusive hotel in the Rain Forest. You are immersed in the tropical jungle environment. There is no A/C, no TV and very limited WiFi, but honestly it was nice being unplugged. The in house tour guide was very knowledgeable and taught us about the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. The food was fair. The wait staff were ok. They did their job, but were not particularly friendly, expect for a couple of staff that stood out. A couple of days here is enough.

A modern urban hotel in the city of San Jose. Very clean, fabulous, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast Buffett included with our room. The rooftop restaurant was a very nice atmosphere with spectacular food so we ate there twice. I highly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful boat and lovely adventure. The captain and first mate were very attentive and made this a favorite tour of our trip.

A terrific experience learning about the history of this tribe, eating an authentic lunch, archery, a mock wedding and description of the plants they use for medicinal purposes.

A walk through a local village. The day we went it was pouring rain which did not stop us. They are proud people. Bring cash because you will not find an ATM in this village

Our tour guide Manu was a delight. He taught us a lot about the history of Costa Rica during this walking tour. He spoke English well and had a great personality.

We absolutely loved Chira Glamping! It was the perfect mix of luxury and the outdoors. We had a hot tub and ourdoor shower in addition to a lovely bathroom, full kitchen and the well appointed geodesic dome tent. The service was impeccable and Fabio was a great host for the breakfast each morning.

Mariano was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable and friendly and an excellent ambassador of Costa Rican culture and nature.

We absolutely loved visiting Paraiso Organico and Hubert and his family were wonderful hosts. The mix of learning about the local produce and preparing a typical (and tasty) Costa Rican meal in a home were terrific. Highly recommend for a couple or small group!

This was a highlight of our trip. The setting, food, cultural tour (via food) and wine were all impeccable. This was one of the best dinners we've ever had. Highly recommend this experience!

Hotel was of a reasonable standard. But definitely not luxury as deal was said to be. Reception staff very poor.

Beautiful hotel with lots of monkeys running around. You are bound to see them at any meal or at the bar. A sloth hangs in a tree you can view from the pool. Great happy hour for drinks. The buffet is delicious. Every staff member is helpful and friendly. Gorgeous hotel with great views that has you immersed in the wildlife!

Beautiful hotel nestled on the mountain high. Lots of wildlife sleeking around. Beautiful view from the office. Plantains served were the only thing I think they can improve on. The breakfast was good. And the scenery and walking trails were nice.

The hot water spas were so nice to relax in after a long day of excursions. The swim up bar was great and the hotel itself is beautiful. The scenery is relaxing in the. Morning because of the procured lawns. Quick transportation to the various spots around the hotel. All personnel were very pleasant and helpful!

Our guide was so sweet!!! He was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour fun. We learned a lot about the coffee and chocolate-making processes from seed to cup. And to top it all off, they give you free coffee & hot chocolate :) they also have a great shop there with tons of coffee to buy, and cute souvenirs!

Our guide was SO knowledgeable and hilarious! He pointed out lots of animals and had a monocular for us to view everything through. Definitely recommend this!
