We had a fantastic 9 day trip to Croatia. Bruno was extremely helpful with all aspects of planning and putting together the itinerary that fit our needs. The hotels, travel reservations etc were all seamless. Bruno also met with us when we landed in Zagreb and personally guided our group of 12 ( along with another associate, Mario) for the first 3 days of our tour. Even on the later days, when we were on our own or with other guides, Bruno would text me every night with the plan and arrangements for the next day.

Our friends had a room that was previously used as a conference room and the bathtub was perched on top of a stage and very tall and hard to get in and out of. 2 minivans to carry our group of 12 and our luggage. The cars were in good condition and we didn’t have to worry about leaving our luggage while we were exploring the park since this was a private car service

Nikola was attentive to our traveling needs, when our flight was delayed he worked with the providers to ensure that we were able to reschedule arrival times and excursions. The local guides that were chosen were top notch, Nikola made it a point every evening to check in to ensure all went well. The superior customer service that was provided by all parties is a testament to the character of your organization and I will be delighted to book with you again on our return to your lovely country.

Sarah was really wonderful in her choices of both our activities and hotels. She planned everything—from drivers to schedules. We particularly enjoyed Hotel Cornaro in Split. And our skipper Marko who took us between Split and Hvar was fabulous: he took us to his favorite spots to visit, eat (under a canopy of olive trees), and swim. Then Grgo who took us on a winery tour in Hvar—including his own family’s winery—was a gracious host. We were able to visit several places and get insiders’ views from our drivers and hosts. We learned so much about the history of Croatia and what it’s like to be a Croatian today. I recommend using KimKim and Sarah and Ivan 100%!

This is a very new hotel and lovely inside. Our room was spacious and super well designed. It is conveniently located near a bus stop so we could easily get to the old town and anything we wanted to do. There are markets nearby too. And the food—including the breakfast—is really good. We had lunch and dinner there, and they took time and care preparing our food. Highly recommend this hotel!

Although a little dated, you can’t beat the incredible pool with the view of the Adriatic. The staff is very helpful, considering how many people stay there. The breakfast is amazing with so many choices. The only negative we experienced was in our bathroom where the sink and faucet were badly designed, and you couldn’t rinse your hands without splashing pools of water everywhere, and the bathtub/shower was poorly draining. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the view and the food and service.

Both a fascinating and exciting journey through four Balkan nations, Serbia, Bosnia-Hercegovina , Croatia and Montenegro. After months of planning and adjustments with my excellent local specialist, Anna-Maria, the trip very much lived up to what I hoped for, getting to see most of the places I had planned to see and activities I had been interested to do including the hiking in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Learned a lot of history of the region from the guides, including Marko in Belgrade and Suzi in Sarajevo. In a region divided by recent conflict, what was so good about the guides was the different perspectives of the recent history. The highlight being a guided tour of the Siege of Sarajevo by Adnan Hasanbegovic, a veteran of the siege who showed me the tunnel of hope dug under the airport. Having been involved in the conflict as a both a civilian and a soldier, his account was so vivid, including the struggles he and many other experienced. From a conflict out of which so much hatred arose for the different nationalities involved, what was so impressive about Adnan's tour was how he had sympathy for those who he fought against, including the Serbs, as to how they were drawn into the conflict and for what they also suffered. Something which he said he found helpful in his work post-conflict focusing on reconciliation, during which me met many others who had survived conflicts.

Sarajevo itself was probably the highlight of my trip, being so full of diversity in terms of architecture and food, bringing together the best of its legacy being at the crossroads of the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. I especially enjoyed the Turkish areas and most of all, the Bosnian Coffee. The hikes in Bosnia-Hercegovina were amazing. I had previously done the Seven Lakes trek through Slovenia with KimKim, which was a fantastic experience. but in Bosnia-Hercegovina though, there was a feeling that the nature was so much more untouched. This was especially evident on the Lukomir trek, visiting Bosnia's last traditional nomadic village where life has changed little in five hundred years.

Some much more natural beauty and historical sites were found in between Belgrade and Sarajevo and in between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik, including Tara National Park (the Lungs of Serbia), the Ottoman bridge in Mostar, the stunning Kravice Waterfalls and the two highlights the Dervish House at Blagaj and a ride on the Sargan Eight Railway. So much fantastic variety with great insight provided by guides Stefan and Abdul.

And the excitement didn't end there, the ride on the replica 16th century galleon Karaka was great fun, seeing the beauty of the Eliphate islands before a trip to Kotor in Montenegro the next day. The crew on Karaka were so fun while Montenegro guide Dejan was so knowledgeable, giving lots of great tips for photographers. All people involved in making this trip were so helpful, from specialist Anna-Maria who did a fantastic job finding great accommodation in all three cities I stayed in (especially the apartment in Dubrovnik's Old Town) , Marko in Belgrade, Stefan between Belgrade and Sarajevo, Verda on the Lukmir trek, Suzi and Adnan in Sarajevo, Abdul between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik, the Karaka crew and Dejan in Montenegro. All were so friendly and so hospitable. Natural feature that best reflected this though, was visiting the heart-shaped lake at Sutjeska National Park on the border of Bosnia and Montenegro, led by guide Jasmin. It truly opened my heart to the region and its people, as well as what they have largely come through following a difficult recent history.

We had an amazing trip in Croatia thanks to the careful planning and excellent communication from Robi. He took the time to customize our itinerary based on our wishes and made suggestions based on his experience. Each night during our trip, Robi would check in with us (we were driving ourselves) to see how the day went and also provide tips and Google pins for our activities the following day. He is an excellent guide and a genuinely nice person. I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone traveling through Croatia!

We had an amazing time in Croatia and Sarah was super responsive and helpful before and during our stay. She and her husband Ivan assisted with dinner recommendations and reservations and tweaked our itinerary when needed. The drivers and skippers were top-notch, friendly, and reliable. We enjoyed all of the excursions but both boat outings, kayaking and biking tours were favorites. The skippers we had, Marco and Ivo, were so friendly and accommodating. We are very satisfied with our KimKim experience and will never forget this once-in-a-lifetime trip with our family.

This is a must-do to see the other side of Hvar. The countryside is so beautiful and this excursion is family-run. At the end, you get some snacks and tastes of their own wines. They accommodated me with an e-bike due to a foot injury.

There are not enough complimentary words to adequately describe how fabulous our guide Robert Pinčević (Robi) was. From helping us to plan our custom, 4-woman multisport trip, to showing us the most beautiful and amazing places, to going far above and beyond in taking care of us, Robi is the kind of guide one dreams of. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Croatian: history, wine making, olive growing, etc. Plus he's a rafting guide, a sailor, a musician and probably a few more things we never got around to talking about. In short, you cannot go wrong in engaging his services - he's a remarkable human being.

Bruno was absolutely fantastic from the initial planning stages giving us good info and itineraries to look over and then on the trip providing us best parking locations and spots to visit for the following day. It was great not having to think about any of that and just concentrate on getting to the locations Bruno gave us. Along with this to have daily restaurant recommendations was also really good 😊

Robi did a fantastic job arranging our transportation and tours in Croatia. The communication throughout the process was impeccable, even when our flight was delayed.

Antonia, my specialist, worked with me for several months and organized a complex trip for our group of four. The whole journey felt like a total concierge trip, with four and five-star hotels, excellent service, and Antonia being available to us 24-7.

Some of the highlights of our trip included a truffle tour, Skokin caves in Slovenia, Plitvice National Park, and exploring Hvar with a local guide. We were treated like royalty throughout our trip, and Antonia made sure everything was taken care of, from our transportation to our accommodations.

There were a few hiccups with a couple of hotels, but overall, everything was perfect. The best part was having someone in the same time zone as us, making communication and problem-solving much easier.

I would highly recommend Kimkim to others looking for a seamless and luxurious travel experience, and I can't wait to book another trip with them in the future.

Our cycling trip through the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia was incredible, thanks to Robi. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and well-planned it was. From the very start of planning, and up until we said goodbye to Croatia, Robi was friendly, professional, responsive, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and all our questions answered. He made the planning process easy and painless, making sure our group was comfortable with all his suggestions and recommendations before anything was set or booked.

While in Croatia, he was always a step ahead to make sure all the details, logistics and coordination were taken care of so that we didn't have to worry about a thing on our trip. He helped us design a very customized self-guided cycling tour according to our ability level, and was patient and accommodating as we made changes and modified to our plans. He was super knowledgable about the region and gave us great tips to make our experience there even more special.
We loved all of the accommodations he booked for us (he helped customize according to our budget), and every logistical detail was smooth without any hiccups or surprises. He checked on us throughout our trip and was available the entire time to answer any questions we had.

Bruno was very helpful in planning the trip; including hotels, guides, rental car and all of the many details. His insights and local knowledge were extraordinary. Best of all is that he contacted us almost every day to make certain that all was going well and to help with any problems. All the hotels were excellent; all the guided city tours were excellent. We had a small auto accident and he was "on it" immediately and was helpful beyond description. The tour guide for the Old City - Mariyana - was outstanding, she adapted the tour to our interests and the conversations we had wwere enriching. Goran was very helpful during both trips, and we had a very interesting tour of the wineries in the peninsula, as well as a very interesting walk in a local village on one of the islands. We can not recommend Robi enough. Our trip was well organized and exactly what we were looking for. From the day we landed to the day we left Robi made sure we were taken care of. He arranged all of our transfered from the airport to the different islands we visited. And then when we did the self driving part of our trip he made sure our car was delivered to our hotel.
We enjoyed everything about our trip and can not think of one negative thing to say. If you are planning a trip to Croatia Robi is great at arranging anything you want for you. He will customize your trip to fit your travel style. Our group was my husband and I and 4 adult children and we all had a fantastic time in Croatia!

Enjoyed walking the walls in Dubrovnik. In the afternoon Goran did a great job boating us out to the Elaphiti islands. Awesome seeing Dubrovnik and surrending islands from the boat. Great lunch in Kolocep!

This was our first trip to Croatia and our first time working with a trip/vacation planner – we could not have been more pleased with the customer service and welcoming accommodations from Sarah and Ivan. The excellent service and responsiveness were consistent all through the process including before we booked the trip (going back and forth on different itineraries) up to the last day when our plane departed. Prior to the trip questions were answered within a few hours through the on-line chat, and during the trip Sarah and Ivan would respond to texts within minutes (about small stuff like questions about tipping etiquette, etc.)! We did not have to text with any problems because everything worked out perfectly – all transportation, hotels, and tour guides (probably our favorite part) were top notch! Sarah and Ivan reached out multiple times with more information if needed, and just to check on us to see how things were going. We would definitely work with Sarah and Ivan in the future and highly recommend them for your trip!
