Using KimKim for our summer trip to Greece was quick, simple and we had an outstanding time. Rebecca figured out how to fit in all our desired activities: hiking, islands, mythology and she recommended and reserved some fantastic restaurants. We highly recommend Rebecca and will use her again for our next trip to Greece.

We had a wonderful family trip to Greece! Eleni was very helpful and responsive when booking the trip. We enjoyed all of the private tours that were booked. My family truly had an experience of a lifetime. We especially enjoyed the farm tour in Santorini (Ana did a wonderful job during our cooking class and farm to table meal) and the catamaran tour in the caldera. Petit Palace was incredible and service was excellent. The only feedback I would give is just have the travel team confirm with vendors/ restaurants when costs are included. There was a little confusion at one of the restaurants about if it was pre-paid or not. Overall a wonderful trip. Thank you!

Chris and the team at kimkim made this a fantastic trip for my family and myself. The suggestions they made were perfect. The catamaran cruise from Naxos Yachting and our co-captains Yannis and Christos showed us how beautiful the Aegean and Cyclades really are. Our trip was supposed to happen last 2020 but the world had a pandemic so it was postponed twice and Harris was very helpful during those time on rebooking everything. Now to the trip itself, it was a wonderful trip. Everything went smoothly, even when the ride was a bit late on one of the leg, they kept us updated and assured us that we will make it on time and we did. Accommodations were great, tours were great. Thank you to Harris and the entire staff for making it a great vacation!

kimkim and Eleni provided our family of five with an outstanding, life-changing travel experience. We started in Athens and then drove to Kalamata with stops along the way to sightsee, eat, and swim. Our kids ages span from 17 to 6 and Eleni was able to set up an itinerary that had something for all of them to enjoy and remember for the rest of their lives. This was one of the main reasons we booked through kimkim and Eleni nailed it! The accommodations were perfectly located and made us feel like royalty. She gave us a number of different options and advice throughout the entire process. Her recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and self-guided tours never disappointed. Besides the breathtaking locations and savory food, the highlights of our trip were the tours Eleni set up for us - The Olympic Game Workout, Athens Mythology for Families, Waterfalls & Archery at Polylimnio, and SUP & Snorkeling in Voidokilia. We would wholeheartedly recommend booking with kimkim (and Eleni) and have already told many of our friends and family! We will definitely book with them in the future!

Our guide from Explore Messinia was amazing.

Christos did an AMAZING job planning our honeymoon! It was so easy, and we just showed up and everything was already set up. Private transfers, ferries, tours, they were all ready to go from the moment we arrived without hiccups. Either he or the travel agency he contracts with were able to answer any questions we had in real time during the trip at all hours. The drivers were all so friendly and timely, the accomodations were all lovely, and the ferries were all quick and smooth. The recommendations were all spectacular as well. Great location, beautiful area, however the room had a bright orange exit light that could not be turned off right by the exit to the room and made it hard to sleep. They also gave us the wrong breakfast one day, which caused a delay in our plans for the day, unfortunately. Otherwise they were extremely helpful, even finding me an ENT on the island to see in an emergency. The staff were extremely friendly, the facility was very clean, and the location couldn't be beat.

Beautiful ride, but kind of a packed 'sailboat' which was actually running on a motor. There were ~50 people on the boat and not many places to sit. Honestly, not sure I would recommend this. The sights were nice, and the dinner was good, but it was just so crowded on the boat and I felt like we were just being herded around.

My travel buddy and I took our bucket list two-week trip to Athens and the Greek islands. It was absolutely wonderful. Everything went according to plan, and we would highly recommend Nadia for any travel arrangements in the future. We began our journey flying from Sacramento to Athens, stayed in busy Athens for 4 days and then island-hopped to Chania on Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, and Naxos. We booked several fun excursions through Nadia and our trip included transportation to and from airports, hotel reservations in boutique hotels, transfers, pickups and drop-offs from our hotels and excursions, and communication throughout. Our excursions included a beach day in Santorini, a beautiful and fun-filled day on a sunset catamaran sail and a separate wine tasting excursion on the beach in Mykonos, and an excellent electric bike tour in Naxos. Having everything arranged upon our arrival was such a relief, especially the transportation. All of the drivers were waiting for us, helped us with our luggage, and delivered us to our destination safely.
This was our first time planning a long and multi-stop vacation, and Nadia was on top of all of the logistics. One lesson we learned for future is to communicate our expectations for the accommodations, especially when traveling out of the country. While many hotels in the U.S. have pools and fitness centers, that’s not always the case with European and boutique hotels. When the temperature hit the high 80s and 90s, we would have enjoyed a swimming pool or a hotel with close beach access. However, we didn't communicate that with Nadia. Luckily, one hotel had a pool and we were able to get a ride to a beach with umbrellas and comfy lounges. At the same time, we were very pleased with the delicious breakfast buffets or breakfast options that were included in most of the accommodations. Nadia and the Kim Kim platform made it very easy to communicate, see links to entertainment and excursion options, and plan our trip with confidence.
Nadia was very helpful, full of information about hotels, excursions, and travel options and, as a result, our trip was effortless and well worth the cost of paying for a travel planner. We look forward to planning the next trip with Kim Kim.

Chris and his team were fabulous in creating this trip for my family. Everything that they planned for us was amazing. Our accommodations in Athens were very nice. Our tour guide (Elanie?) in Athens was amazing! She even got a little gift for us at the end. I'm very happy that we included a short stay in Athens. It was truly worth seeing some of the sites.

Santorini was amazing! Most beautiful place that I have been so far. The accommodations at the hotel Agali Houses were perfect. Amazing views of the Caldera. Vassilini and her staff were exceptional in recommendations for dinner and beach. We spent the day at Perissa beach and enjoyed the water and sun. Our tour guide for Akrotiri ruins and the wine tour was another great day full of history and fun. The sailing yacht was a very small group, personal service provided by the captain and his finance' Johanna. A must tour in Santorini. A nice little shop to stop in is the Art & Icon Studio in Fira.

This was a trip postponed from 2020. Many thanks to Chris for being patient with the covid delays. This trip was truly amazing! Thank you.

Back in Vancouver now and just reminiscing about our wonderful stay in Greece. I will absolutely do a review for you , but I thought that I should offer some constructive feedback. Below:

Athens:

- Hotel was fantastic and memourable...highly recommend for future bookings
- 1st dinner, though the food was fantastic, unremarkable location
- bike tour of Athens was just OK...unremarkable guide...would not recommend
- Acropolis visit was excellent, and the guide very engaging...highly recommend

Paros:

- too early of a transfer to the ferry...too much waiting
- great ferry experience
- fantastic hotel and having the two rooms was a good call
- driver on Paros was fantastic and a big personality
- 1st dinner magnificent in Naoussa (sp?)
- sunset boat trip, a highlight...great crew and highly recommended

Naxos:

- Ok hotel; probably better options to explore...would not recommend
- bike tour was great...good guide and a great way to see the island and Naxos town if you are fit enough...good choice
- probably would have preferred 3 nights in Paros vs the 3 in Naxos...but still a nice visit
- nice call on flying back

Athens Riviera:

- Ok tour from airport
- unremarkable lunch...do NOT recommend
- great hotel and location...highly recommend to complete the tour

Honestly, I don't have the words to describe how wonderful the whole thing was. We went to Greece and we were connected with Rebecca from Grecian Lux. From beginning to end, the entire trip was flawless. I went with a friend and we wanted to ensure that our friendship remained intact, so we wanted to be on the trip and not have to think about anything. Rebecca took care of it all, and even dealt with our tourist brains when we messaged her with questions we should already have known. She was wonderful. I can't recommend her enough!

SO wonderful. The staff treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't ready so they gave us complementary wine and a sampling of Greeks finger foods while we waited at the pool. On checkout we were gifted a bottle of wine from their vineyard. The staff work so hard, and such long hours, but they were so amazing the whole time and you'd never know how hard they work!

There is a LOT to see here, and Google maps got us lost a few times. I would definitely recommend leaving earlier than we did and spending less time at beaches in order to enjoy more of the scenery. But driving in Greece is so stressful. We cheered that we didn't die when we arrived back at the hotel haha.

The yacht was beautiful, and the service was amazing. Delos is worth seeing, but it's HOT so be prepared with light clothing. You can't swim around Delos, so we had to wait until Rhenia in order to cool off. The wine was flowing and amazing though. :)

We went to Super Paradise Beach to Jackie O's because we heard so many great things, and yes it's beautiful, but the prices were simply outrageous. We went to Elia beach the following day and THAT was definitely worth the lowered prices. The beach is more expansive, and the options plentiful. And it's less expensive by far than Jackie O

The highlight of our tour. It was a private tour for my traveling partner and myself. Lazarus picked us up and took us to all the best places on the island, and some hidden gems as well. He's very knowledgable, knows so many people on the island, and he used our phones to take our photos and when I say that they look magasine worthy, I'm not kidding. Simply magnificent. The winery sampling was an amazing experience, and then taking us to the highest point on the island was worth the view!

Thank you so much for planning an amazing first trip to Greece for us! When we first met Nadia, we we're a bit overwhelmed by all the incredible ways we could spend days 10 days in Greece. We are very appreciative of Nadia's quick and detailed responses to our many questions, and also were grateful for her suggestions (we took many of them!) Special thanks to Nadia for quickly and thoroughly answering our last minute barrage of questions in the last 24 hours before left home - cell phones, internet, tipping, laundry (including an address near our hotel in Naxos,) etc. etc.!

Our Athens Monastiraki hotel was perfect. Laid back, great staff, breakfast on the rooftop in view of the Acropolis, central to great food, art, history and exploring neighborhoods and finding great views of the city. And, we're so glad we said yes to the Acropolis & Flavors Tour! Joanna was a fabulous guide to both, and left us with many recommendations for the rest of our stay.

I am also grateful for all the time Nadia worked with us on planning our trip to Delphi and Meteora. The private driver was the perfect solution and Yannis made it all extra memorable by giving us off the beaten path lunch options -- a quiet laid back lunch and swim at Camping Delphi with incredible views of the valley, olive groves and coast after Delphi visit; exquisite calamari on our seaside table on the scenic drive back to Athens. And, of course, impeccable on time delivery for our flight to Naxos that evening.

Throughout the trip we had the right balance of scheduled activity and time to explore on our own. Our surprise love was Naxos which Nadia added into our itinerary at the end when we asked for a visit to second island. We rented a car (very easy and affordable) and explored the island, but honestly didn't get past Pyrgaki (20 min from town) where bought an umbrella, sandwiches and fruit from the mini market and settled in for the day on this spectacular secluded beach. The staff at Nastasia Village hotel were a big help with directions, logistics, and advice. Thank you!

Our last stop was Santorini and I must thank Nadia again for advising us on how to take advantage of this unique (and popular !) location. We leaned into views, sunsets, wine, tomatoes, white eggplant and fava beans. (Our welcoming driver from the port to the hotel gave us a great primer on vegetarian must haves unique to Santorini.) The Sunset Catamaran Caldera Cruise was perfect, relaxing, the right amount of people (not crowded on the catamaran), well run, great food and staff. The extra $$ for the caldera view was worth it and we enjoyed an amazing breakfast every morning with this exceptional backdrop. We took a 1/2 day to visit the tourist area in Fira but enjoyed the laid back family restaurants near our hotel in Akrotiri -- explored appetizers and watched the sun set at The Good Heart. We spent our last night by the water sharing a large grilled fish at The Cave of Nicholas. Γειά μας!

Thank you to all the drivers, guides, hotel staff, shop owners, family businesses and more that made our trip so memorable. Nadia, please accept our deep gratitude for everything you did to make it all come together. Every detail was cared for, for being on hand for anything that was needed, and for ensuring all plans went smoothly. This was a combined high school and college graduation gift for my niece. Sadly, due to flight issues we missed the first 3 days so a 19 day trip turned into 7 so we missed all of Athens except the last night before we flew home. Kim Kim, specifically Dimitris, did. Great job with a few exceptions. You need to have transport already arranged when get to the Santorini port which we did not despite our hotel website saying it was available. The taxi companies aggressively jump on you. We were forced to rent a car and it was expensive 500 euros. DON’T RENT A CAR IN SANTORINI! There is no parking and it’s walkable. The water ferry was great. Naxos was my favorite bc Santorini is so cowshed and too many Americans. I left the US to get away from the US not have it in another country. Yodai (?) our Naxos hiking guide was great and the family owned farm to table restaurant after our hike was most delicious. Trying authentic traditional foods was a tastebud treasure. Beet salad was amazing! Thanos, our caldera hike guide in Santorini, was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He even invited us out that night for dinner. We didn’t go bc after 25,000 steps that day we were exhausted. The private sunset spot he took us to was spectacular! Highly recommend both of the guides. The Ilaperato hotel in Santorini had breathtaking views as we ate our breakfast on our balcony every morning. The Zillers hotel in Athens had tiny rooms but the rooftop restaurant looking to the acropolis and Parthenon was great!

This is a great hotel! The staff is over the top accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast delivered daily to our balcony made us feel like princesses. Rooms were beautifully yet simply adorned with a refrig, plates, glasses, minibar. They were generous with their bottled water since can’t drink from faucet. Location on the walking path is convenient to all places. HIGHLY recommend this amazing hotel for the service, rooms, view!

Book it! This place is the greatest! You will need help getting your luggage down the cobblestone path to the actual hotel so call ahead to arrange. They are quick to help.

Great location in the Plaka so easy to get to good restaurants, shopping, and the acropolis. We only had 6 hours of daylight in Athens so this location was primo-we we’re lucky. Breakfast in the rooftop was extremely enjoyable and a great way to end our trip.

Thanos Papagiannopoulos was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He pointed out all the natural herbs-oregano, rosemary, thyme, and a few others all along our 4 hr hike. He sprinkled in a lot of history about the land, volcanoes and his stories from his teaching career. He made the sometimes very steep climb very enjoyable. The private sunset spot he took us to was spectacular! This was a great experience.

Planning this trip took longer than I hoped but at the end of the day it was fabulous. The only issues were that Imbros Gorge was a more difficult hike than expected and because of that we opted not to walk from Oia to Fira. Also the car that was selected for us in Crete was too big and we damaged it trying to maneuver in small places. Hotels chosen by Tasos we’re great. We loved our time in Greece. Thanks Tasos!

My wife and I are SO happy that we used Kimkim to help plan a 2 week honeymoon to Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete, because the trip was absolutely incredible! From the start, Rebecca communicated frequently with us to personalize the trip to our desires. Mykonos - Walking Tour with Delicious Goody Bag

We met Stelios for our walking tour of Mykonos town. Not only were we completely mesmerized by the town, but Stelios entertained us for the entire 90 minutes. We loved hearing everything he had to say about the town, food, shops, Greek culture, and he was even more interested in getting to know us and our interests. It felt like we were walking the town with an old friend. Stelios also gave us some great recommendations for food and drink for our remaining two days on the island. It was a phenomenal, personalized experience on our first night in Mykonos!

Now that we've found KimKim, we won't go it alone again. We had the luxury of enjoying our vacation without a care in the world. Angela ensured we were in good hands from when our plane landed to when we returned to the airport 17 days later. Angela checked in on us and sent us important reminders during our trip, so we never missed a beat. Several times we raised our glasses and said, "Yamas Angela!"
Our trip was well planned. She listened to our needs and gave us multiple options, so we felt in control. Thankfully when we thought we were too tired for an experience and contacted her to bail, she convinced us not to drop it. She was right every time. Here are some of the tours we LOVED:
Food Tour on Milos with our guide Michael. As a native, he had loads to share. He also owns a nightclub, Fiki. When we visited, he treated us like gold. Ask for the Spicy Salad - a drink to remember.
Janos was our guide when we sailed and explored Kimilos Island. We appreciated his relaxed style, and the service plus lunch was five-star.
Private sailing on Milos was a true highlight, thanks to the captain, crew and challenging winds. We sailed to coves and caves you couldn't get to otherwise. The crew brought plenty of wine and songs and played guitar as we sailed into the sunset.
If you go to Naxos, TAKE THE DISTILLERY AND OLIVE TASTING TOUR. Promponas Distillery brings more to the table than you will ever anticipate. Third-generation owner, Katerina, is all heart. Get ready for the good stuff.

We are giving this five stars for location; they are 6 minutes from everything. That was our running joke anyway because we never had far to walk. The neighborhood is delightful. The staff is helpful. There is coffee available in the room. Breakfast is served at 8 am, so if you have early plans, include a stop at the nearby bakery/ coffee shop before you go.

Be patient when the staff tells you to close all the windows and wait 30 minutes for the air to kick on. It works!

Perfect place to stop in the middle of a long trip. You don't need to leave the hotel for a fantastic dinner with a view, poolside drinks, excellent hospitality, laundry service, and rooms with luxury amenities. It's a crazy ride to get there, but you won't get anywhere on Amorgos without such experience. The village is charming. Every meal will fill you up, and still, you'll ask for more.

This was an average tour but might have been better if buildings hadn't been closed or stops missed. Our guide and driver were as interesting as the tour. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center was closed and the mirror pool was not as impressive as the photos. We were not able to get close to Lake Vouliagmeni but did manage to see it from a lookout point. I think we would choose to go there for the day instead of the tour. I don't remember "Enjoy a selection of meze (Greek tapas) and a drink at a seaside tavern" but we did get a fabulous recommendation for one in the city. The sunset was pretty at the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion. Our guide new where to take the money shot.

If you go to Milos, you must go on this tour. It's a fantastic way to understand the history of this island and appreciate its history. Yes, I am still referring to a food tour. We cooked fish in the sand, ate fresh goat cheese, and ended with island wine. Our tour guide, Micheal, was the bomb. Request Michael if you can, as he is a local and owns a cocktail and wine bar called Fiki. He's an incredible host, as were all the establishments we visited along our tour.

Full Day Sailing Tour Around Milos (Catamaran from Adamas)

This was one of the biggest unexpected highlights of our trip. I can't believe we almost canceled it due to the winds. The boat was just the right size for the six of us and the 2 person crew. They sailed with the winds and took us to places only small sailboats could go. The waters were crystal clear. We sailed through caves where the water's turned purple. We found white rock cliffs to jump from into the incredible coves. The food was okay but the drink was plenty. It kills me that I can not remember the name of the fabulous woman who served as shipmate and guide because she also entertained us with song. The captain shared his guitar and let us play while we all say. He played a few beautiful songs and sang with our guide. I am so sorry I can not remember their names. You could not ask for a more memorable Greek sailing tour.

Kimolos Tour from Milos

This was a cool reprieve and a lovely day at an incredible secluded beach. If it's any indication of the beauty, there were a number of $M Private Yachts off the coast, but no cruise ships!!!! We love this island, its history, and the very special community that keeps it alive. Janas (sp) was our guide. He was extra laidback and allowed us to guide our own exploration and ask questions. Its a tiny island worth honoring.

An absolute must. It was only two stops but well worth it. Our driver Spyros was funny. Katerina, the owner of the distillery, was a generous host. We could have spent another hour there but had to leave for the Olive Oil Tasting. We could have passed on the Oil Tasting; it was touristy and deserved three stars.

Christos Gravas, was our wonderful Travel Advisor. From the very outset in planning, he considered our desires for islands to visit, type of accommodations, and interest in side ventures.
Chris was kind, personable, and extremely helpful to us while we took our trip. He was immediately responsive by text or phone with any questions or concerns we had along the way.
Chris was very friendly and welcoming upon our arrival the first day. He had sent us a detailed itinerary for each day of our trip. We received ferry tickets for three different days when we arrived. Chris was also quite helpful in sending our final hotel a link in order to print a hard copy of our airline boarding passes. He arranged drivers to be ready and waiting to transport us to and from each activity and hotel. Each driver was punctual, polite, friendly, and helpful with luggage and knowledge of the area.
Each hotel Chris booked was luxurious and central to interesting sights, beaches, restaurants, and shops. The breakfasts each morning were sumptuous with a lovely, delicious variety of offerings.
We loved the opulent double room with sea front view at Saint Andrea Paros Seaside Resort. The porch was relaxing, the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more hospitable. The huge pool was beautiful!
Cyano Suites Premium Suite with Sea View was absolutely decadent! Two bathrooms and a huge space, also with a lovely porch, overlooking the Temple of Apollo. It was within easy walking distance to The Old Market district and stunningly beautiful beaches. The amazing homemade baked goods and frittatas, fruit yogurts and variety of coffee choices started the day on such a positive note!
We loved our Executive Room Caldera View at Agali House in Santorini. The private patio overlooking the Caldera was stunning. The pool here was a welcome relief from heat. We got our exercise in with the many stairs between the walking path of Firostefani and our hotel door. The hotel was midway between Fira and Imerviglio, so we had an opportunity to hike to both locations. So very scenic!
Katerina, a lovely, knowledgeable and friendly food guide, took us on a fantastic four hour food and drink tour through the Plaka area of Athens! Such fun, and an opportunity to be introduced to the traditional foods, drinks, and snacks that make Greece such an amazing place to visit!
The authentic Greek cooking class and tasting at Anezina Villages in Paros was a fantastic, memorable experience, and not to be missed! The instructor was a lot of fun with a great sense of humor, and tasty recipes. We can’t wait to try them at home.
The Traditional Village and Family Home Cooking in a quaint inland village in Paros was intimate and lovely! The mother/ daughter hosts were warm and very sweet and the meal was great!
We enjoyed our tour of the Moraitis Winery in Paros. We learned a lot about the production and process of Greek wine making. The guide and sommelier taught us so much!
The Santorini Wine Tour was absolutely fabulous, and must be included in your itinerary if visiting this island. Hercules was so entertaining, fun, and quite knowledgeable. The three wineries were great, particularly the last overlooking the Caldera. What a wonderful experience!
The piece de resistance on our final night in Santorini on The Sunset Oia Catamaran cruise was phenomenal! The Delos Boat with three crew was memorable, entertaining and so enjoyable! The native Greek,Alice, was a remarkable cook and created a luscious dinner onboard enjoyed by all.

Eleni was very responsive! She made sure we had all the tickets we needed for travel and followed up with us after our travels. Highly recommend using KimKim and Eleni as your travel agency and agent!

We are a family of 4 and just completed a phenomenal trip to Greece. Eleni was our local specialist and she was awesome. The trip was a great mix of historical sites, beach/water activities, food, wine, culture and people. All trips, transfers and activities were perfectly arranged and we just needed to show up with a smile. I'd recommend a trip to Greece arranged by Eleni for everyone - we visited Athens and 3 islands and the logistics can be complicated without a local expert.

First of all Yvonne, with Curated Greece in Athens, was outstanding. Kim Kim put us in touch with her 2 1/2 years ago when we first planned our trip. Then Covid happened and everything stopped. Yvonne stayed with us through the delay and helped us prepare an amazing tour of Athens, Crete and Santorini, about a week total. She arranged all of the transfers, tours, hotels and flights/ferries while abroad. The last morning in Santorini there was a knock on our door and our luggage removed and boarding passes handed to me. Took all the worry away... We visited the Acropolis, the Temple of Poseidon, and Knossos Palace. Had a wonderful walking food tour in Athens as well as an outstanding authentic Cretan cooking lesson at a farm in the hills. Wine tasting in Santorini delicious, and our last maybe best day was spent on a sunset fishing trip where we ate the fish we caught right on board. Best vacation ever!
