Chris did an excellent job from start to finish! This is the first time that I have sought a professional to plan my trip overseas AND I have no regrets! Chris helped us choose excursions that allowed us to maximize our time at each stop based on our interests and level of activity. We did a lot of walking and eating! While Chris could not control the weather (it was unseasonably colder and rainy), I am thankful that we did not attempt our itinerary in the summer. We were able to "comfortably" hike and walk the countless stairs and hills we encountered in Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, & Santorini. Each of our stops was unique in its own way. We started in Athens only to see the Acropolis. Aside from the historical importance, Athens was "ok"... not nearly as impressive as other European cities. A day and a half was plenty for us (keeping my review honest). Via the high speed ferry, we headed to Mykonos. Be prepared to get lost in the beautiful, white, and windy streets. I highly recommend the "Sailing" tour. Our captain and his right hand did an awesome job of taking care of everyone's needs (8 of us). We had an outstanding meal prepared for us onboard. I was impressed with their ability to navigate the seas (and guests!) when we hit some concerning and bad weather. This is not an excursion I would recommend fr anyone that may become seasick! We headed next to Naxos. From a cultural experience, Naxos was my favorite place. I would describe it as a blue collar island with friendly and accessible locals. Our hotel was a clean and inviting family run hotel with the BEST breakfast of all the places we stayed. The wife did the cooking and the grandma did the dishes. Interacting with the locals made up for the lack of a pool and smaller room. The locals (strangers on the street) walked us to our destinations when we were lost and restaurant owners sat with us at dinner. The "Taste of Naxos" tour was top notch and our guide was so beyond lovely. Our last stop was Santorini.....a breathtaking island! The views from our hotel are like nothing I have ever seen. We did an 8-10 hour tour (7 people) that took us all around the island. The first half was museum and archeological focused. The second half of the tour was all about the views, small towns, and a wonderful meal at a winery. Elena was our tour guide. We loved her! She was passionate about the island and somewhat of a celebrity at all of our stops. She knew everyone and went above and beyond to meet the needs of everyone on our tour. We had the best weather on our last day in Santorini. Perfect weather for a wooden boat excursion. However, for us, this excursion was a bit too long. It was supposed to be a 6 hour sunset/dinner cruise. The dinner on the boat was the least impressive of all of our excursions. I attribute this to the larger number of people on this excursion (25-40 people). Thus, it was not as intimate as we would have liked. The good weather saved the day! Overall, the transfers that Chris organized for us, were always on time, easy to find, and very professional. The cars & small vans were always very clean. He provided us a welcome packet with our ferry tickets and a detailed outline of our trip. He checked in with us several times to make sure everything was going as planned. He was available and quickly investigated the only "glitch" we encountered with our transfer from the wooden boat tour. Overall, he planned an excellent trip based on our feedback. I am grateful that he suggested we add Naxos to our trip as it complimented the other islands (that I full of tourists). Did I mention that the food in Greece is AMAZING! I highly recommend Chris if you are planning a trip to Greece!

The most impressive service was the staff's ability to carry our suitcases up and down the countless steep stairs. The bellhop carried two pretty big suitcases at once....one on his shoulder while carrying the other in his hand. Impressive!

Our tour guide was very professional. He met us at our hotel. He was very thorough (perhaps provided too much information)! He got us to the front of the line, took pictures of us, and made sure that we knew how to get back to our hotel. He also made sure that we were safe (aka: didn't get hit by the crazy drivers)!

We had an incredible experience planning our trip to Greece with Chris. I would highly recommend his services to my friends and family. He was extremely responsive, attentive and flexible. During the planning process, we had numerous changes that required him to rework our existing plans. Chris is was always patient and adjusted to our changing needs. When we arrived in Greece, I did not have to worry about anything. He made the trip seamless and enjoyable. It was the first vacation where I could truly relax because someone else had taken care of all of the logistical details. We did have an emergency (stolen passport) that could have derailed the entire trip, but once again, Chris helped us navigate the challenge and made sure we were still able to enjoy the trip.

We just returned from our trip to Italy then onto Greece. The Italy section had been planned for 2021 but fear of renewed Covid caused us to delay the trip. Kimkim was very understanding and worked with us to redo the trip a year or so later. Everything went smoothly and our driver and guides in Italy and Greece were terrific. I can easily see planning future trips with Kimkim.

The Athen Highlights Mythology Tour by Alternative Tours was dazzling and informative, and the Sunset Wine & Dine experience by San Lux Travel in Santorini was AWEsome! Hands-down the best sunset I've ever seen with some of the tastiest wines I've ever had.

Each hotel our specialists chose was centrally located, and offered superb service. I especially enjoyed the breakfast spread and massage I received at Cresanto Luxury Suites.

I would highly recommend using KimKim to plan all your trips, and I know I will be using this service to do so from now on.

Our guide from Athens to Corinth and Nafplio, Marcos, was outstanding! He was so knowledgeable and kind he shared so much about the areas we toured and personal stories of his family growing up in Athens. He was a true highlight of our trip. The tour in Mykonos with Dora was also wonderful and really gave us a chance to see more of the island. We also loved the hike in Santorini with Catherine. Seeing the caldera from the old footpath was a treat and hearing the history of the island was special.

My daughter and I have had the most amazing trip to Greece. We are in love and will be back. It was great having Irene of Kimkim help plan our trip of 9 days as we wanted culture, art and history at a relaxed pace.

We visited Athens, Naxos and Santorini and it was fantastic. Irene organized a cooking class, a trip to Delphi with olive tasting and in Naxos convinced me the best way was to drive to see the beautiful landscape! She was right.

In Santorini, we had a pottery class with a local famous Greek artist which was fun for the both of us and walking around and seeing the sunset was out of this world.

We loved our accommodations too and Irene chose well and to add that the entire team from KimKim were always available in case of anything and made me feel safe should something go wrong.

Everything was taken care of and on time and grateful for our tour guide in Athens, Magda who was entertaining and knowledgeable.

We had a very relaxed holiday and I was glad I had some assistance thanks to Kimkim to navigate around!

All in all, we will back to Greece and would recommend anyone short on time and energy to let Kimkim sort you out. They really know some hidden gems and where to go and are quick to respond so it lets you breathe and be free.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience planning our Greece vacation through kimkim. The entire process, from the initial introduction call, to the connection made to our local specialist Ioannis who guided us through all our options, to the flexibility in adjustment our upfront payment schedules, everything was professional and top notch.

Once we were able to share the types of things we were interested in doing across our two families traveling together, Ioannis was able to suggest great options for us to choose from. This included village excursions, cooking tours, luxury catamaran rides etc. Overall, his guidance was really helpful in allowing us to make great choices.

For all the tours that we went on (4 organized ones in total), the local guides were absolutely excellent. All of them spoke great English, gave us a great background in Greek history, exposed us to "local/ traditional" adventures, and really made the trip memorable.

The hotel selections were also great, with good breakfast options every morning, and convenient locations. In the one hotel where the first room we were offered wasn't that great, we got in touch with Ioannis to explain the situation. Ioannis was on this instantly, coordinating directly with the hotel and making sure that we were upgraded to better quality two room as no additional costs! This was really appreciated by us!

Overall, this was very memorable and we intend to use kimkim in the future!

We decided to go to Greece for Spring Break and the planning process was so smooth. I worked with Angela (Aggeliki) throughout the planning period and also during the trip. She was always so prompt at getting back to me with any questions or concerns I had. She helped me plan the trip I wanted, being attentive to what I wanted, especially when it came to accommodations. Since my son in 6'3", I was very particular about where we stayed and the kind of bed they had. And we ended up loving all 3 places she found for us! During the trip, she checked in on us to make sure all was going smoothly. When I had tripped during a hike I took, she was immediately asking if I needed to seek any kind of medical attention. (Luckily, I didn't). She provided such great detailed information, even sending me links to Google-maps locations.

We were on the top floor so loved being able to look down at all the activity happening in the busy neighborhood below. The view of the Acropolis was wonderful and being next to a church had a little charm to it too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A couple things though... 1) it was weird that we couldn't get the lights off at either of our 2 bathrooms. We even had a staff come up at midnight to try and figure it out and they couldn't. But we worked around it. 2) you can't drive up to the hotel and so when we were dropped off about a 1/2 block away. Not very convenient when you have a large piece of luggage

Loved the view of the Acropolis from our room! Loved the restaurant upstairs! The only thing that threw me off was having the shower right there in the bedroom with no kind of divider. It made it a bit awkward for my teenage son, who was traveling with his mom and sister. But we worked around it. The staff was awesome!! Absolutely LOVED being out on the boat!! The staff was friendly, the food delicious for our sunset dinner cruise, but I have to give a lot of kuddos to Capt Katerina. The weather suddenly turned on us and so we had to dock quickly. Another boat was trying to dock but the waves were big and it took that person at least 10-15 minutes to get their boat safely up to the gangway for the passengers to disembark. It took our Capt Katerina about 5 minutes. Once we were safely on land, all of us passengers clapped loudly and cheered for her and she honked the horn to acknowledge us. And even though we had to go back slightly early, we were able to see a beautiful sunset right there on the dock.

Christos and his team were the most professional, efficient and highly experienced travel and trusted people I have had the pleasure to work with from the very first contact I made with him.
The itinerary was very well planned and detailed. We had the friendliest and most knowledgeable guides, who allowed us to create wonderful memories. The islands were breathtaking, relaxing and picturesque and our catamaran cruise was the high point of our leisure time, and a must do. The city was a captivating blend of ancient and metropolitan environs. We experienced history we learned and read about. Food and wine tasting were enticing and enjoyable as we dined in luxurious ambiences with the backdrop of the Acropolis. Truly, a testimony to how attentive he was to our wants and needs with regards to activities we wanted to do, places we wanted to see, and the types of accommodations we desired. Our guides along the trip were amazing as well. They were a wealth of information, but more importantly, they treated us like family. In summary, we had an awesome trip to Greece and I highly recommend kimkim for planning one's future trip to Greece.

Its very difficult to express the level of perfection that we received on this trip. Chris Gravas was our Greek specialist and he was absolutely fantastic, everything was according to his plan and anything that we needed was a phone call or text message away. All of our transfers were A+++ and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, you can tell that they had a passion for what they did, and they did it very well. All of our tours exceeded our expectation, as did the whole trip in general. Christos was amazing to work with. He provided direct communication with his assistant on days he was out to ensure we had continuous communication with someone. He is so professional and attentive to detail. He provided his great suggestions and gives his advice as you plan your trip. He truly seeks out activities so you have a true view of all aspects of Greece and the Greek islands. He is a great planner and I highly recommend him.

Our Greece experience was amazing due to the expert planning and professionalism of our guide Angela. We began our trip in Athens and right from the airport and to every new destination or experience we had a private pick up and transfer to our next stop and they were always was punctual and friendly. We stayed in Sweet Home Boutique in Athens which was adorable. The staff was friendly, the hostess was helpful and the breakfast was fantastic! We which we didn’t have to leave so early the second day do we could have enjoyed the breakfast the second morning as well. Our private tour of the Parthenon was great. Our guide met my family and I at our hotel. The tour was informative, light and just perfect for my teen girls and I. It was just the perfect touch of history, humor and culture. Unfortunately I forget her name but she was really great. From Athen we took the SuperFerry Golden Star which was not what we were expecting for a ferry. We stayed in the lounge the entire trip to Mykonos and it was so comfortable the time flew by.
Our stay at Mykonos was so memorable. Our host Armen from Milangel reached out to me before our arrival to set up a private tour before we checked into our room. This was so helpful so we knew a bit of the ins and outs of the island. Plus he took so many pictures of my family and I along the tour-I only wish we were a bit more dressed up rather then just having hopped off the ferry. Besides that his tour was informative and I highly recommend it. The weather in Mykonos was not what we were expecting but going off season has bits benefits and drawbacks as well. The view from Milangel was stunning and we had not one but 2 patios to enjoy it. Armen was bound accommodating and the breakfast and accommodations were 5 star! We went to dinner t!3 first night at Kazarma right near the water and it was one of our favorite meals. I think it was our favorite Greek salad as well, we tried to order in each time we ate to compare them all. Kazarma put a social spin in theirs. The next night we had a cooking class. Which will forever be one of my favorite memories. Teta was fun, a patient teacher and the food and laughs were continuous. Such a personal touch as she holds her classes in her home and you feel like you are visiting a sweet aunt for dinner.
From Mykonos we went to Naxos. This little town was so sweet. From the port and all its restaurants, little shops and small winding streets we explored all afternoon. The only thing to keep in mind was that most of the shops and restaurants don’t open till around 6 or 7. And after so much travel and still working on the jet lag we weren’t able to enjoy that until the next afternoon when some of the shops opened again in the morning. Our hotel-Polis of Naxos wasn’t my favorite. Again, going on their off season didn’t help us much on Naxos. There wasn’t really anyone to help us much in the reception area to find ice or coffee or to ask if we could get the hot tub running. However, we did go during Easter week and we respect that was a time of celebration for family and they weren’t exactly set to accommodate guests yet. We did horse back riding in the beach which was fine for me, however my daughter rides regularly and was a little disappointed that we were guided by a man and a rope the entire trail. We walked down a road first and then back up the beach which was beautiful, she was expecting a little more. However when we saw the 5 day old foul-that took the cake!
Our last stop was in Santorini and we stayed at the Blue Dolphin. This was a very nice hotel but the view of the town and sea was breathtaking, best view the whole trip. We were able to see the festival of Paros where the entire village is light up the night before Easter. Hearing the church bells, the priests singing and beautiful Paros light up in the hill was something I will never forget. Our last day we did a sunset cruise with Katrine and the crew in Lagoon 420 and they were amazing! We highly recommend this tour and our group we sailed with were so much fun. Perfect way to end our trip. My only regret is not getting to see Oia. All of the travel and early mornings took a toll on us and we slept in so we were. It able to fit it in. However, we’re we’re able to see some of it from the catamaran. I would suggest one more day in Santorini as there is so much to see and do here. I’m sure I left out a few amazing other tidbits but I tried to be as detailed as possible in my review so others can understand the care and work that goes into plan I g a trip, I would never have been able to do that! By far this was the most amazing trip and we could NEVER have done it without Angela. Her professionalism, patience and expertise is unsurpassable! Angela was always quick to respond d from the moment we began planning until our last few nights in Greece. She checked in with us during the trip and everything was planned just perfectly. Thank you so much Angela, you did an amazing job and we will never forget our trip to Greece because of you!

We highly recommend KimKim Travels for a trip to Greece! My family and I visited three cities in Greece in April 2023: Athens, Nafplio, and Santorini. From the beginning of our interaction until the end of our trip, team members Eleni and Mariliza provided solid support. They created an excellent itinerary for us, taking into consideration our requests and the weather conditions in Greece during that time. Team members were timely in their communications and always ready to assist with any changes that occurred, even during the trip. This made us feel secure and at ease.

The drivers and tour guides who accompanied us from city to city—Eva, Giannis, George, and Hercules—were well informed, friendly, dedicated, and committed to making our trip a huge success! They also had snacks, water, and soda for us in their tour vans!

We enjoyed the choice of hotels in each city. We stayed at a total of four hotels, given our travel requirements. Our favorites were the Elia Ermou in Athens, the Grande Bretagne in Nafplio, and the Kalisti in Santorini. Pickups and drop-offs from the airport were smooth and timely. We also really appreciated the thoughtful and unique gifts from KimKim!

KimKim Travels thought of almost everything, and we deeply value their time and energy spent in creating a fabulous holiday experience for us in Greece!

Overall this hotel was good in terms of the room size and also the size of the bathroom. The area of its location did not appear to be the best. The hotel door was locked at all times and only one person sat at the reception. Did not get time to taste their breakfast as we had an early morning flight. Staff was friendly. Someone was playing loud music all night. Perhaps passing cars that came and stood in front of the hotel. Not sure.

Fantastic central location! Walkable to the main city center and other places. Beautifully built in the iconic Greek housing style. Bathrooms were however very small. The owner of the hotel came to the breakfast room to greet folks...how wonderful is that! She is an amazing lady who has been in the restaurant for 40 years we were told. She was so kind and welcoming. The staff was also very friendly. The outdoors near the swimming pool was beautifully decorated and one could see the rising sun in the mornings. great place for the hotel to consider offering yoga classes!

Loved its location--right near the water and main square! This was an older hotel so the rooms were larger and also the bathrooms were larger. The decor had an old world charm.

Elia Ermou Athens Hotel

Located in central Athens this hotel was a charming, small hotel on one of the main streets of Athens and was in the midst of lovely outdoor restaurants, high end shopping, as well as local shops with trinkets. It was also very close to the Acropolis. The breakfast was hearty. The staff was polite. The bathrooms were a bit tight but then the stay was only for a few days. The only recommendation I would provide is to have the twin beds in each room separated.

1) The layout of the beds. Twin beds need to be kept separate. Two persons in our group received a room with a bathroom made for people with disabilities. That room should be kept reserved only for people with disabilities. What if someone had checked in who needed that room then the hotel staff would have made us move. That would have been an inconvenience to us and others.

George, who was our guide in Nafplio, was an amazing guide who prepared a list of items and places for us to visit in Santorini. We shared that list with our guide in Santorini, Hercules who then created a wonderful day of sightseeing for us. He took us first to a monastery on top of a hill that many people don't know about. The views of Santorini from there are spectacular! We also went to Emporio, a small village with amazing architecture just like one sees in pictures! After that he took us to a winery from where the views of the other side of the island were fabulous! We also visited the excavation site in Akrotiri rounding off the tour at the Art Space and Wine Museum where we got to taste local Santorini wines, and admire the work of Greek artists in their gallery. Overall, we had a great experience with Hercules and the van driver, Thomas, and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Santorini.

We had an excellent experience with Giannis our guide in Nafplio. He picked us from Athens and drove us to Nafplio. His van had snacks and water and he was a great conversationalist! Our specialist Eleni suggested Nafplio and we are so glad we went. Giannis was an amazing guide, showing us many monuments and interesting places, such as the place where the Mythical Hydra visited and the Corinth canal on the way to Nafplio. We would have never known about these places if it wasn't for him. We also had a wine tasting with lunch at Nemean wines. The lunch was supposed to be light, but it was a big beautiful delicious spread! This was our favorite meal of the trip. Highly recommend this town, even though it is less known.

⛵ Sunset Sailing Tour & BBQ on a luxury catamaran

The sunset sailing tour in Oia on the luxury catamaran was a highlight of our trip. The cruise was very nice, and the members on board were kind and welcoming. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the views of the beautiful architecture of Santorini with the white-washed buildings and swimming pools on balconies as well as the blue domes of churches from the water. We also watched the breathtaking sunset from the Catamaran. We even came back to the same place-- Oia, the next day because we loved it so much. We highly recommend this spot if you are looking for photos.

We appreciated the list of recommendations for all the places we visited from our driver cum guide-Giannis-- on the way to Nafplio including a visit to the famous ancient theater site, Epidaurus, where we learned about the history and connection of healing between art and performance. It was an amazing experience, and we were grateful that the car took us right up to the top so we didn't have to walk. The local guide there was George and he was amazing in his explanations about the site!

Angela was key for our whole trip. She was extremely knowledgeable about Greece and what kind of tours we may want. She worked very well with me to come up with the perfect 10 days for me and my family. She got us amazing tours on the mainland with a private mythical tour of Athens with our guide Ifi (she was an archeologist working on her doctorate, so very well spoken). Our tour to Meteora was great, however we would have loved more time there. When we told Angela that we wanted a few different locations, her insight led us to Crete as went early in the season and the other islands would still be a bit chilly. She set up a day tour of Crete with our guide Alexander Yefimets. If you go on a tour in Crete, your MUST ask for this man. He and his team were completely agreeable to whatever and due to the weather for our day, he completely changed the itinerary to stay away from rain and only enjoy sun and beauty. They met us at our VRBO and we had an amazing day with them. Alexander also recommended restaurants and things to do for the rest of our stay. Angela did an amazing job of setting this up for us.
Angela was very responsive before the trip and gave me her contact information for use while we were in Greece in case anything came up.
Simply the best. I will not visit Greece without going through Angela and Kimkim again.

Great idea, poorly executed. The pool was empty and they never told us it wouldn’t be filled until later in the season (actually the day we left). No hot water for the first three days as the boiler was broken. The place is a bit run down, broken doors in kitchen, missing handles on shower doors, walls in various stages of repair, and of course the hot water. Location is great and the hosts are amazing and responsive, but we were a bit disappointed.

East Crete Secrets Off the Beaten Track: Through the Eyes of Locals from East

Alexander was our guide and it was simply amazing. Due to weather, we changed from East Crete to central Crete but our guides were simply amazing. Alex was watching the weather and doing an amazing job of keeping us dry and in the sun. The weather is ever changing in Crete. They offered plenty of snacks and, of course, Raki. Alex never seemed to rush or want the tour to end. He gave us as much time as we wanted in every spot we stopped. He continually said, we are friends, and friends spend the whole day together. It was an amazing trip to Monestaries, beaches, shops, sights etc. Stephanos was our driver and he was great as well. Some of the streets in Crete are extremely narrow and he got our sprinter van through amazingly. Highly recommend this trip and do yourself a favor and ask for Alexander Yefimets!

Athens to Meteora day trip by scenic train ride!

Unfortunately the train arrived late and left early so we only had a short time in Meteora. Also, we were supposed to be in a limo bus with no more than 20 people, but we were on a large coach with 42 people. Not anyone’s fault, but the train did mess us up. Our five hour tour and 4 Monastery visits turned in to a 2 hour visit with two very rushed visits and a bus ride around the other four. Disappointing as this is an amazing place.

Santorini hotel is great for service and location , our guide in Santorini is amazing., but do not like so much cruise as circuit is not great , boat passed by santorini and Oia 3 times !
Naxos is a hidden gem for circuit, guide and food. Hotel is ok , design of room is weird but location is amazing.
Mykonos is to visit once , hotel is absolutely amazing for service and room . We love tour of Chora guide is very good. Hightlight is cruise to Delos, the team ( father / daughter) is the nicest people it really show Greek hospitality, small group (8 people) , the only downside is tour of Delos where we are combined with a group of 20 people with 1 guide , hard to follow explanations .
In resume it is a great trip well organized , well follow up , we will be using your service again for our next Greek trip. We will post also comments on trip advisor
