Our trip to Peru was planned to perfection. It could not have been better. The communication was impeccable, Liz responded to all my messages immediately. Every driver and every guide were on time for all excursions. All the staff in our hotel Casa San Blas were so attentive and made our stay very comfortable. All the details were handled and all we had to do was enjoy. From the food to the excursions Peru was a trip to remember.

Our tour guide in Cusco, Sonia, was so amazing and knowledgeable! She had a clear passion for Andean history and we learned so much from her. Our food tour tour guide in Lima, Kimberly, was equally informative!

Overall, we had an amazing time in Peru. I highly recommend booking your next trip to Peru using KimKim. Everything was so seamless and easy — we just focused on having fun!

The trip was amazing with wonderful guides. It was so nice having everything coordinated. Everything went as planned and we had great support all along the way. Alexandra was wonderful - she was our guide in Sacred Valley and Cusco. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She spent more time with us than was planned. Franco was our guide in Machu Picchu, and he too was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for better guides! The Pachamanca was a unique and interesting experience. The food was very good. The transfers from airports to hotels were always right on time and took the worry out of travel. We weren't able to do the tour in Lima because we didn't get to the hotel until after 3 pm - in retrospect, it would have been better to fly from Cusco to Lima the night before. But it was ok. Liz was patient and wonderful in researching several options with us and I think we ended up with the right one for us. Well done. I highly recommend Kim Kim.

Hotel was wonderful - it was a bit of a walk to get to it. The king bed was comfortable and the room was warm and appealing. The staff was very helpful and kept our luggage the next morning and delivered it to the train station in the afternoon. Everything was excellent.

The room was nice but it was cold and the small space heater was inadequate. The night we stayed, something happened and there was no hot water. When mentioned the next morning, the manager discovered something had happened and was able to correct the problem but it was too late for us. The manager was very nice and apologized for the problem. It was unusually cold and I'm sure this room would have been fine had it not been for the weather.

We didn't do this tour because we didn't arrive in Lima until after 1 pm and by the time we got to our hotel it was after 3 pm. Liz offered to do a later tour but we were tired and didn't want to have a tour that lasted until 7 pm so we cancelled. It was ok but if we had it to do over, we would have flown to Lima the night before so that we could more time to do the lima tour.

Franco was wonderful and very patient. One of the women in our party was struggling a bit with all the climbing and walking and he helped her quite a bit and moved at her pace. He was very knowledgeable and actually spent more time with us than we had planned. The only negative is that we arrived 5 minutes late for the Huaynapicchu hike and they wouldn't let us do it. We had to hike the smaller mountain. Everything else was wonderful.

Our Machu Picchu trip was an incredible adventure. Although we had challenging conditions with rain and unseasonably cold temperatures, our team and guide from Cusi Travel was exceptional. Edy (guide) was extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. We were always informed and well prepared for our agenda each day. The gear (tents, sleeping bags, mattress pads, and pillows) were all of high quality. The Kimkim Team that coordinated the trip did a fantastic job of communication regarding all questions in a prompt and professional manner. I would highly recommend them, and we will most likely use their service with future adventures.

This was a trip which we had been waiting for a long time, and it didn't disappoint! It really was one highlight after another. Local tours were always the highest quality. We loved all the tour guides, who were knowledgeable, kind and patient. We had so many wonderful experiences, which we will enjoy revisiting now that we are back at home. Thank you to the entire team!!

It's taken me a week to recover from my vacation, but it was worth every moment.

We were well taken care of by the Jess and the KimKim team during set up. All of our guides and drivers in Peru with the were incredible and punctual as hell. If our flight changed numbers before we arrived, we were contacted. When it seemed a guide was running late, we had three different people in correspondence with us over it, and still got where we were going in great time.

Biggest shout outs to Daniel at SkyLodge/Ziplining and Edwin from our Machu Picchu/Aztek Trail trips for openly keeping my 70 year old father alive doing activities that may have been outside his capabilities. All guides made sure he still got an incredible experience and they took incredible care of all of us. Adjustments were made and we're grateful for every single second.

Word to the wise, the Ziplining/Via Ferrata has a child climbing on its website, which I think deceived us as to the intensity of this hike. This was a next-level climb up a mountain. Vertical cliffs, metal bars, a "bridge" that was two cords over a valley. We were caught a little off guard, but that's on us for not doing a deeper research dive on the hike.

I could have spent days just at the Mountain View lodge and restaurant.

And finally, I can't go without mentioning that my guides, Miracle and Edwin got a CAKE UP TO THE TOP OF A GLACIER LAKE for me for my 39th Birthday. Incredibly special and grateful for all the special touches.

Just returned from a 10 day trip to Peru. Jessica at Kim Kim was amazing throughout the booking process and all the way along. She was very attentive to our numerous questions and had great suggestions for hotels and timing of the entire trip.

We did the Cusco City Tour, the 4 day Inca Trail trek, Sacred Valley Tour and Rainbow Mountain hike. Edy was our local guide throughout and was fantastic- personable, kind, always prompt, and very knowledgeable. Edwin was our chef for the trick - unbelievable what he was able to cook while camping and our 9 Quechuas (porters) were all super sweet. It is incredible what they carry and how they run the trails.

The trek is challenging - but very doable if you are in shape. We only did a little bit of training - and oh, the views!!Spectacular - especially the view of Machu Pichu from the Sun Gate. And our last camp site was up high in the mountains - just gorgeous.

Rainbow Mountain is touristy - but really not that bad. We had reservations about how touristy it would be but the hike and views from the summit are well worth it. OUr drive was 2.5 hours there from Cusco and 3.5 hours back (traffic in Cusco is heavier at the end of the day). They break it up with breakfast on the way there and lunch on the way home so it didn’t seem that long.

I would highly recommend Peru for both a cultural and a hiking experience. We had no troubles at all with any political protests and felt safe the entire time - even walking in Cusco at night.

The Inca Trail trek was great, despite the rain. We had porters, who were essential, and all our meals were included. The only downside was the boxed breakfast on the last day, which was not very good. We recommend bringing your own snacks.

The trip was outstanding. The itinerary set up by Jessica worked perfectly. I had a bit of a physical issue and we had to make some last minute changes and everyone was helpful and it worked out great. Daniel our lead guide going up the mountain to the zip line stayed with me most of the way to make sure I was safe at all times. The raft trip on our second day was fun and just enough. Our lunch at The Mountain View Experience was breathtaking. Edwin was our guide and companion the last three days. I can't say enough about his knowledge and advice as we adapted some of our hikes. Machu Picchu was breathtaking and as special as we had imagined. The mountains and Inca sites were spectacular. Thanks for doing such a good job taking care of us.

We had a amazing trip to Peru! Aspiring Adventures took the stress out of the trip. It was so reassuring to have our driver and guide waiting for us every day. We had a fantastic trip to Peru, a family of four with kids aged 10 and 13. Our trip went so smoothly, can't say enough in gratitude for the support we received from Johanna and her team. They efficiently helped us manage a passport mishap on day 2 of our trip! We truly enjoyed two weeks - dune bugging and sand surfing in the dessert, a trip to the Ballista islands with tons of wildlife, into the Amazon for three amazing days, followed by a week in the Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Manchu Pichu. We have travelled extensively and never had such amazing tour guides or such efficient use of our time away. Johanna was amazing when we needed to postpone making our decision about travel in Peru given the recent political instability and our home countries travel restrictions limiting our access to insurance and sense of safety. She allowed us to take extra time with our decision, we were so grateful we went ahead with our trip. Everyone we met along the way share how happy they are to have tourist back in their country, they shared their struggles with the impact of the Pandemic, followed by the impact on the tourist economy of the recent political unrest. For our entire journey we felt safe, secure, and thrilled to be travelling in such an interesting country, meeting so many locals who welcomed us with open arms. KimKim made the travel experience so easy, my kids tease me that I will keep advertising for this travel platform and look forward to using it in the future.

Johanna did a phenomenal job setting up an amazing experience. We had a complex itinerary that included the Rainbow Mountain, the Sacred Valley, the Inca Trail, Macchu Picchu, the Peruvian Amazonia and Lima.

All the Hotels were excellent, providing a very quaint experience. Pick up service was always on time.

This hotel was also nice and quaint, it was located within walking distance to everything in the small town of Ollantaytambo. We enjoyed the nearby market and ruins and appreciated the hotel's proximity to the train station. The specialist also gave us recommendations on restaurants and we ate at Chuncho which was very good and reasonably priced.

We liked this quaint and beautiful hotel in the artistic neighborhood of San Blas, you could see artisans working and selling their crafts out the window. We appreciated its quiet location away from the busy city center plaza but still within walking distance of attractions.

Justino was fantastic. He was funny and knowledgeable, made us feel welcome and called us family which by the time we said goodbye is exactly what we felt like.
Each of our hotel's were perfectly chosen, small thing's like hot water in Pisac or face clothes in Cusco could have made them better though to North America travelers. We did find all of our host's lovely and gracious though and enjoyed their accommodations.
Perhaps adding a down day in the middle of a 10 day tour for relaxation is something you might suggest to other groups, ours found that we were quite tired by the time we finishing but they may be our fault for not thinking we'd need one.
Ruben was a great driver, at all times I felt safe in his van.
In the end this was an amazing trip and I thank you for your time and planning.

The guides were wonderful, the people were great, the food was amazing and the mountains and culture already have me want to go back. In hindsight, I would've stayed another week to ten days and done the rainforest, and rainbow mountain.
