Head outside of the city into the Sierra Nevada Mountains for a private guided hike. The Sierra Nevada range is Spain’s highest mountain range and hides some of the most breathtaking and well-managed hiking trails, providing the perfect location for a day trip.
After a short, 30-minute drive, you’ll reach the village of Monachil, a tranquil town from which you’ll begin your hike through Las Cahorros and into the peaks of Andalusia. Your hike will start in a historical region known for its geographical isolation and gastronomic traditions based on farming, and your guide will show you the locals’ way of life, which is rich in tradition and history. You’ll meander through farms and olive groves and swing across hanging bridges on this trail through the mountains. After the 3-hour hike, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation in Granada.
