What you'll do

Begin your day in Amalfi with a brief onboard welcome before setting course west along the Amalfi Coast. As you cruise, your skipper traces the shoreline's highlights, from the stalactite-filled Saint Andrew Grotto, named after the patron saint of Amalfi, to the Duoglio and Santa Croce beaches. Drift beneath the "Arc of Lovers," a natural rock formation sculpted by the sea, and continue past the ancient fishing village of Conca dei Marini, where cliffside villas, historic hotels, and the former Santa Rosa Monastery frame the coast.

You'll pause at secluded coves and sea caves for swimming and snorkeling, including dropping anchor at a tiny beach to explore the colorful Runghetiello Grotto and the dramatic Fiordo di Furore—Italy's only natural fjord—a little farther along. You'll then admire views of the village of Praiano, the Li Galli islets (famous in Greek mythology as the home of the Sirens that lured Ulysses), and Capri's Faraglioni rising above the sea on the horizon, with another chance to dip into crystalline blue waters at the Africana Grotto sea cave.

As you cross to Capri, soaking in postcard views of Positano and the Sorrento Peninsula en route, you'll have about three hours to enjoy some free time on shore. Explore the island on foot, relax, or have lunch at a local ristorante (not included). Back on board, you'll set out to discover Capri from the water, cruising its southeastern coast past Villa Jovis, a first-century Roman palace and the island's most famous landmarks: the Faraglioni sea stacks, three rocky columns known as the "guardians of the island."

Sail through one of the Faraglioni rock tunnels, often called the Tunnel of Love, then continue to the Grotta Bianca and Grotta Verde (White and Green grottos), where crystal-clear waters invite a final swim or snorkel. It'll then be time to head back toward Amalfi, where you can unwind on deck, taking in the golden hues of the setting sun behind you, closing the day with memorable views of one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful coastlines.
