Overview

Enjoy this relaxing day cruise aboard a catamaran and sail around the crystal-clear blue waters of Naxos Island. You'll pass by sandy anchorages, rocky coves, and picturesque seascapes. You'll depart from lively Naxos Marina and join a friendly and professional crew.

As you sail around the coast of Naxos, your captain will make a few stops at designated swimming areas. Jump off the boat, swim in the open sea, or walk up rocky cliffs and leap into secluded pools. You can also try snorkeling in open bays and sheltered coves. For lunch, you'll enjoy a traditional Greek spread with local wine and raki.

The itinerary might include the southern or northern shores of Naxos, Paros or the Small Cyclades and is subject to weather conditions. A full, onboard safety and information briefing is conducted prior to every departure.

In case of any dietary intolerances or allergies, please let your travel specialist know.

This is a family-friendly cruise, suitable for children of all ages. Swimming knowledge is required.

Tips for future travelers

Perhaps, in May, wear a rented wetsuit. We (my sister and I) did swim at the first stop. Some were not so adventuresome and may regret the opportunity to swim in the Aegean Sea.

The first stop was my favorite. Rubbing the black mud all over myself was just a little too funny!

We didn't sign up for the food. It was adequate.

This trip had the perfect blend of intergenerational groupings; a few in their 70s (us), a few in their 50s, a few college grads, a few young teenagers, and a 4 year old. Lots of laughter.

I expected the food to be mediocre, but it was actually AMAZING and one of my favorite meals during our entire 9-day Greece trip. The location of the sites were great and they briefly explained the history of the locations, one of which was a place where if you put clay from the rocks on your face…your skin doesn’t age ;) you know I slapped that on, ha! Plus we had plenty of time at each spot and did not feel rushed at all. I will say the water was a bit chilly…but definitely worth while!

Bring sun protection. Bring a water bottle. Bring a swimsuit. Bring clothes to change into after swimming. Bring a towel. Bring snacks if you'd like.
