Cons
  • The hotel's spa and restaurant are open to the public, so it might feel a little busy, especially in the high summer season.

Additional Notes From Ash

Visiting this hotel really did feel like finding a little oasis and an authentic view of Ibiza. I totally forgot about the island's party reputation, as the property sits on a farm of olive and fruit trees and natural grasses, with herbs, flowers, and crops in the distance. I loved walking through the grounds and viewing the suites, which sit in white cubes and offer private terraces with direct access to the olive grove—modern yet comfy. Even if you don't stay here, you might still want to come for dinner! The service and food were delicious and memorable.

Authenticity

Ca Na Xica provides you with a truly peaceful experience deep in the Ibizan countryside. The property's white buildings, stone elements, and wooden accents all contrast perfectly with the area's native red soil, plants, trees, and flowers. You get a real sense of agricultural life in Ibiza, both past and present.

Location

Enjoy a rural setting in Ibiza's north, completely surrounded by olive groves and forested hills. The peaceful nature is the appeal, but if you want to explore the island, Ibiza's northern coastline offers plenty of scenic coves, hiking trails, and beaches. You'll be about 20 minutes from both Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni de Portmany, plus just 10 minutes from Port de Sant Miquel, with a beach and several eateries.

Rooms & Bathrooms

Rooms and suites use neutral tones and natural elements to create a serene environment that complements the surroundings. All include unlimited access to the spa and feature furnished balconies or terraces with seating and views of the grounds. Upgrade to a suite if you'd like your terrace to face the olive groves and prefer more space. Suites also feature unique adobe-style architecture and seating areas.

Other Highlights

The hotel's restaurant is Salvia, a highly-rated eatery visited by travelers and locals. Chefs prioritize sustainable and organic food from Ibiza or its neighboring island, Formentera, creating healthy and tasty menus. The breakfast, pool bar, and room service share this philosophy. When not relaxing in your room, enjoy unlimited access to the spa, with its outdoor pool lined with tall cypress trees, plus a sauna, Jacuzzi tub, hammam, ice bath, and more.

Sustainability

To create its guest experience, the hotel focuses on being eco-friendly, using solar panels, private well water, and treating water with osmosis. Ca Na Xica also recycles its water for the crops and olive groves on the farm, plus in the gardens filled with herbs, aromatic plants, flowers, and native fruit trees.
