Authenticity

Stay in a historic estate part of the medieval Village of Balàfia, built between the 9th and 12th centuries and complete with defense towers. The property is classified as a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC), as you'll stay within its renovated buildings full of historical elements like original white-washed stone siding, rustic wood-beamed ceilings, and stone or brick flooring.

Location

Enjoy a rural stay in the heart of Ibiza's farmland on a quiet dirt road lined with olive trees. The hotel sits at the end of a private drive and is part of a historic landmark of medieval dwellings and towers. A rental car or private transfer is handy when exploring other parts of Ibiza. You'll be just 20 minutes from the scenic hiking area of Cala d'en Serra and some of the best beaches on the island, Aigües Blanques.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The rooms are stunning, as they all maintain the property's rich history and culture, so you'll literally sleep in dwellings from a medieval village. Enjoy charming aspects like original doors, windows, flooring, and sloped or beamed ceilings. Though rustic, units offer all the modern comforts, large bathrooms, air conditioning, and private outdoor spaces. One of the rooms has a personal rooftop terrace accessible via a wooden ladder.

Other Highlights

The hotel's large garden area offers plenty of quiet corners for enjoying the countryside. You can freely roam around the property to appreciate the views, relax on the grass, lay on the sunbeds hidden by leafy trees or under umbrellas, and admire the historical buildings and towers. The outdoor pool is another perk, though it's unheated and could use a few more sun loungers or more seating in general. There's also a communal lounge and kitchen, plus two dining areas, one outside in the garden.
