Traditional and modern guesthouse with views of Meteora, an outdoor pool, and a cozy lounge
Good location. Staff very helpful and reasonable price for our laundry. Not hard to walk into town.
Staff at this hotel were beyond amazing and treated us so kindly. Hotel was very family friendly, quiet and a short walk to the main street.

Overview
Located under the rocks of Meteora, Monastiri Guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat near Greece's famous floating monasteries. Situated in the heart of Kalambaka, this traditional yet modern hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the bottom of Meteora for those that want to explore this site on foot. Drive to the main observation point of the rocks in under 15 minutes. The hotel offers easy access to Kalambaka's restaurants, cafés, and shops, and the town's train station that connects to Athens and Thessaloniki is just a block away.
Stay in one of the 20 spacious rooms, all of which have private balconies. Some offer direct views of Meteora and the monasteries, while others overlook the street or the pool, where you can relax with a view of the rocks. For larger parties, consider booking one of the two-bedroom or family rooms, which can comfortably sleep up to five. Rooms vary between a more traditional and modern style, so book one based on your aesthetic preference.
