Overview

Located in the Medina of Fes, Palais Amani offers an authentic Moroccan experience steeped in history. This 17th-century Riad is surrounded by sites such as Sidi Ahmed Tijani, Moulay Idriss, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, all within walking distance. As you enter through a narrow alley, Palais Amani awaits to transport you to a bygone era filled with luxury and charm.

The 14 air-conditioned rooms in Palais Amani are adorned with beautiful Moroccan tile and plasterwork, combining comfort and style while reflecting the city's rich heritage. From cooking workshops with souk visits to baking classes with a trip to the communal oven, the hotel provides a genuine taste of local life. You can also use natural products to indulge in the traditional Moroccan hammam experience or attend daily yoga classes.

In Fes we stayed at Palais Amani, beautiful Riad on the outskirts of the old city. The courtyard was stunning, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We also did the Hammam and a massage at the hotel and loved it! There is a cooking school that looked really nice as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

It is literally a palace! The garden is breathtaking! Good amenities and quality. The staff is very friendly. It is located right in the medina. The walk up to it was cool because it looks like you are lost in a tight labyrinth until you suddenly face the large door and walk in. Read more

A beautiful oasis within the medina. We had a lovely room with an upstairs space that was perfect for our daughter. We only got to spend one night here and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was top notch. We enjoyed drinks at the end of the day in the beautiful courtyard. My only complaint was with the amount of scent used in our room. It was not a bad smell but it was overwhelming. Read more

The hotel is a beautiful, renovated riad right in the Medina. It has only a few rooms and well maintained. During our stay, it seemed to be less crowded. The spa experience was great- the staff were helpful and friendly.
If you are looking for a relaxed stay, this is a nice place. If you need a vibrant, happening place, you should choose to stay elsewhere.

The bar staff was super friendly and chatted with us about his signature drink. The hammam staff were super nice and kind and did an amazing job.
Cleanliness & Comfort
We stayed in the large suite as the other rooms had sold out during that time. Even though the suite was luxurious and large, there were mosquitoes noted in the room. It's not clear if that's the case because that suite is not being used at all times. Maybe the well occupied rooms would have been better.
