Quaint guesthouse in Dadès Valley offering spacious rooms, an outdoor pool, dining, and terraces

Overview

Tucked away in the village of Aït Ouffi, the Dar Rihana Dades guesthouse is at the gateway of the renowned Dades Gorge. The 6-hour journey from Marrakesh is a small price to pay for the opportunity to bask in the tranquil beauty of the Dadès Valley. With just a short trip to the nearby gorges, you'll be in an ideal locale to explore the natural landscapes, rich with opportunities for hiking and visits to the Roses and Todra Valleys.

Every room at Dar Rihana Dades is spacious and welcoming, with traditional decor yet modern furnishings. Past kimkim travelers have lauded the hotel's attention to cleanliness and comfort, with plush beds draped in ample blankets and special touches like the distinctive bathrooms. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, and some even have private panoramic terraces, offering sweeping views over the gardens and the age-old structures of Aït Ouffi.

While the guesthouse features a sun-drenched private pool, the true heart of Dar Rihana Dades lies in its restaurant. Here, you'll be treated to an innovative menu that brings a new twist to local flavors, moving beyond traditional Moroccan dishes like tajines and couscous. With a daily rotating menu, each meal becomes a new experience.

The dinner was absolutely amazing here and hospitality was very nice.
Not a lot to do in the region, but a great stop between Merzouga and Marrakesh.

I would give this hotel more than 5 stars if I could! The staff was amazing. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The tea and cookies on the roof deck when we arrived were excellent. Breakfast with 3 fresh juices and the best egg dish was a fantastic start to the day. The dinner we had at the hotel was incredible. The chef deserves Michelin Stars! 🌄 Atmosphere & Hospitality
Dar Rihana Dades is tucked into the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley, and the setting alone feels magical. The property is warm, peaceful, and thoughtfully decorated, with cozy rooms and stunning views. What makes it truly special, though, is the hospitality. The team is kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable.

🍽️ The Food — Absolutely Amazing
The food here deserves its own paragraph. Dinner at Dar Rihana Dades was one of the best meals we had in Morocco — multi‑course, beautifully prepared, and full of rich, authentic flavors. Every dish felt homemade in the most elevated way, from the fresh salads to the perfectly cooked tagines to the desserts that felt like a final hug from the kitchen. Breakfast was just as impressive: generous, fresh, and full of variety. You can feel the love and pride in every bite.

🧡 **A Stay That Feels Personal**
What sets Dar Rihana apart is how personal everything feels. It’s a small guesthouse, so the experience is intimate and peaceful. The staff remembers you, checks in on you, and makes sure you have everything you need. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax and feel at home.

🌟 Overall
Dar Rihana Dades is exceptional — warm, romantic, beautifully run, and serving some of the best food in the region. If you’re traveling through the Dades Gorge, this is the place you want to stay. We would return in a heartbeat.
