We loved Moracco! The natural beauty, ruins and palaces were magnificent. Riding camels and ATVs in the desert, visiting nomads, exploring the kasbahs, the blue city, cooking tagone and couscous...It’s impossible to choose what was the most run or most memorable. Our guide Amnay was fantastic! He was very knowledgable, articulate, entertaining, flexible and accommodating. The local guides at specific sites were also excellent without exception. We covered alot of ground in 11 days and were never bored. Thank you Kim Kim and Moracco Immersion! A++!

The whole experience was wonderful. First of all, Brahim was very responsive when I was trying to book the vacation. He would get back to me quickly with any questions I had. And he kept me in the loop throughout the booking process. Next, I'd like to thank Mohammed, our driver who took great care of us over the entire duration of our trip (10 days). We felt like he was family. In fact, our daughter feel sick during the trip and he took us to the doctor right away and made changes to our itinerary to accommodate us. He was very friendly, polite and respectful. I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone traveling to Morocco. And oh, Morocco is a beautiful country.

I have just returned from 13 trip to Morocco with my 2 adult children. Brahmin, our consultant, worked out an excellent itinerary from our wishlist, which gave us many experiences of the diversity that is Morocco. Accommodation in small hotels and riads was excellent. Our driver, Rachid, deserves special mention. His extraordinary care and attention meant that everything went smoothly. In the many hours we spent together in the (very comfortable) car, Rachid was generous in sharing his country's history, stories and modern culture, which made Morocco come alive. I had no real perception of Morocco prior to arriving, but left with a deep appreciation and respect for this wonderful country. Everything was fabulous, and the vast diversity and natural beauty of the regions is astonishing. At all times we felt safe and the Moroccan people are so friendly and welcoming. It is a truly unique country and I cannot recommend visiting Morocco and using these services highly enough.

Morocco has always been one of the countries that I look forward to visit. It was plainly picture-perfect and as an Asian living in North America, I was looking to travel to feel the culture shock. Through Morocco Immersion, I met Sharon and she was really helpful in tailoring the perfect tour for me and my husband. In the airport, we met our tour guide Amnay, which is btw, also an amazing guitar player and singer. He was friendly and very honest and informative. I have come to learn that it is not only picturesque but also rich in history, culture, colours and life. Morocco has landed a special place in our hearts and we are already looking forward to experiencing the desert on our next visit!

Had a great time @ Morocco. We had our main tour guide/Chauffeur Yassine driving us all round. He was very professional, friendly and took us to all hidden treasures of Morocco. Recommended places to eat, helped us sample of some the local fruits, cheese, etc. He speaks multiple languages and is very knowledgeable of the local culture. We landed at Casablanca and from there went to Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Boumalne Dades and finally to Marrakesh. Our local tour guides were very informative, and we met a few wonderful local guides during our stay at Sahara-Hmad in particular. We explored the Saharan sands cape by Camel and buggy driving. We met Hassan- the camel guy from a nomadic village who is learning Portuguese and Spanish through Google. I noticed that he was very tender and affectionate with his camels, and told us about his dog 'Subbotho' and taught us a few phrases in Berber. We stayed at the 'Dune house' overlooking the golden peaks of Sahara while we were ate Merzouga. Emily Owen was our host and we absolutely fell in love with the space. She created a unique experience for us and cooked us a delicious meal. I can't wait to go back here again. I loved Fez Medina's raw charm appealing while others could find it in a state of perpetual pandemonium and recoil in horror. I particularly enjoyed Kamal's perspective on the cultural lineage and history when we visited the Fez Medina. Finally, I must thank Megan - our tour specialist for putting together an itinerary that all of us could enjoy and available at all times to address our concerns, I would recommend this trip to anyone planning a visit to Morocco. It's a family friendly travel destination.

A trip with teens, grandparents and parents is hard to plan and execute to everyone's satisfaction, but our trip to Morocco with KimKim was enjoyed by all. Brahim worked very hard to provide a mix of activities and destinations to ensure there was something for each member of our party. When complications arose (as they always do when traveling) they were handled immediately by the KimKim team. Our driver, Fouad, was an absolute gem. Full of local information and an all-around huge help. Our tour guide in Fes, Issam, was one of the best tour guides we've ever had - able to keep a retired historian AND a tired teen engaged for almost 8 hours. Each person had their own highlights - ballooning, cooking class, walking the medinas, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the richness and diversity of the country we explored with KimKim

My overall experience was great, and what an adventure it was in Morocco! Hakim organized my trip efficiently as I booked rather last minute in mid Nov for a Xmas holiday. Unfortunately he could not book many of the riads I initially wanted to stay in as they were full, but it all worked out fine. 13 days allowed me enough time to get a good sense of the country as I went from Casblanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, Merzouga desert, Ouarzazate, the Dades and Draa Valleys, Marrakesh, and Essaouira. The one thing I did not count on was how many hours we would be on the road. There were 3 days during which we had to travel in the car for 9 hours each day (with breaks included) which is tiring if you are not used to that. However, it was well worth it seeing the amazing and varied landscape. Redouane my driver was outstanding. He was warm, kind and very genuine and helpful, always making sure I was ok. Since I need to eat a lot of fresh vegetables, he even bought some to make a fresh salad for me during the long drives!

I loved the call to prayer everyday rising above the din of the medina. Absolutely love the culture, the history, the people, the food and the fashion. The highlight for me was staying in a tent in the Sahara desert. Nothing like watching the stars and the sunrise from the desert. Since I was traveling alone as a woman I relied on my guides to make sure I could find my way in the winding medinas. I felt safe generally although I did get harrassed slightly by men a few times. In all cases, I simply say 'la shukran' and moved on.

Morocco is a very special place and I would definitely go back again.

My husband and I just returned from an amazing trip to Morocco. Before planning the itinerary, I spoke at length with Sharon regarding our travel preferences--likes, dislikes, interests, favorite trips of the past and expectations. She listened and put together an incredible adventure. Mobark, our driver, picked us up at the airport in Marrakesh and was with us the next 8 days. He is a GEM! We were safe, comfortable and cared for as he positively--never without a smile--helped us navigate through a country of wonders--from Marrakesh, through the Atlas Mountains to Dades, to the Sahara Desert (for camel riding and camping on the desert under the stars), to Fes, Meknes, many small towns and villages in between and, finally, to Tangier where he deposited us right in front of airport departures! He introduced us to local guides in cities where we learned so much about Moroccan history and culture. Our local guides were kind and genuinely excited to share their knowledge as we walked through miles of markets, palaces and gardens. While in Fes, as we spent an afternoon wandering on our own, our guide from Marrakesh noticed us trying to figure out a map and he embraced us as if we were his long lost relatives--how incredible is that?!

The lodging was truly special as we stayed in top rated riads throughout our stay. The service at each was better than the last!

It is significant to note that, on our tour and understandably given the enormity of the country and the varying terrain, we spent a great deal of time in the SUV each day. This was unavoidable and gave us the opportunity to see as much as possible before departing. Critically, Mobark's driving was impressive. Never once did we feel unsafe as he navigated across some pretty difficult mountain switchbacks.

Finally, we were given the unique opportunity to have lunch with MoBark's family. The day started with shopping in the local market for the vegetables and meats to be included in our lunch. Prepared by his mother, sister and several other women in the family home, we were welcome and given access to a day in the life of a Moroccan family. How will we ever eat American made couscous, olives or tagine again?!

I would certainly recommend Sharon and her team to personally tailor a once in a lifetime adventure in Morocco!

The tour was very well organised. Our driver + tour guide, Amnay, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He’s been very punctual and caring of our needs. Most importantly, he’s a very safe driver, which meant a lot to us because we could spend up to 8 hours on the road in a day. We drove through rain, wind, snow and sands, but we always had peace of mind as we had been assigned with a very sturdy and reliable vehicle, and a very professional driver. It was a memorable experience.

Guide at Fez was good !
Guide at Marrakesh was disappointing , was always in a rush , would not give time to take pictures as he said he had another group to take . The trip mentioned was 6 hours , he was gone in less than 4 hours and we had to go on our own to the gardens .
Guide At Essaouira was practically not required , all he did was walk around , said a bit and was keen that we ate at one of the places he recommends and the rest apparently was not good . It was obvious that he had vested interests .
The overall experience was positive especially the trip to Merzouga . The driver was excellent too .
The trip was well planned .

Wow, we had such a great time on our trip! Sharon was very responsive to any questions and planning items. Our driver, Hicham, is now a friend for life. He took such great care of us and I hope we get to see him again. I loved having the local tour guides as well, as they add a lot more information about the local area and sites.

We have travelled extensively over 30 year but just returned from our first ever visit to Morocco (its a loooooooong way from Australia).

Without doubt one of the best trips we have ever had. Megans advice was so helpful and her ability to get us some accommodation not generally available to the public was great.

The itinerary is one thing....the execution was on another level. Everything worked like a swiss watch. Simply perfect. From the airport pickup in casablanca to the drop off 2 weeks later in Marrakech the trip had no surprises and not a single let down.

The guides she arranged were all fantastic. The tours brilliant. The guides were all so knowledgeable and friendly and gave us real insights into an amazing country.

One of the highlights of our trip was our driver, ismail. His wonderful personality and a maturity beyond his 25 years made him a friend, not just a driver. He gave us real insights into the country, customs and its people. He showed us out of the way places. He knows people everywhere. Literally everywhere and they all greet him with a smile and a laugh.

He saved us a small fortune by organising to get our laundry done outside of the hotels. We will miss him.

The whole kimkim experience was fantastic and megans service and organisation was amazing.

Just returned from my first visit to Morocco with friends and family. From planning and booking to providing service on the ground during our trip, Megan was prompt, flexible, and creative. She worked with me to build a trip plan for us that fit our needs perfectly, and our tour guide Omar made sure the plan was executed flawlessly. Omar was a consummate professional from our first meeting at the airport. He shared with us his knowledge of the history and culture of Morocco and was resourceful when the unexpected happened, which we learned is often the case here. A few highlights of our trip were hiking in the Ourika Valley followed by lunch with a local Berber family; a cooking class in Marrakech, where we prepared (and ate!) our own tagine and Moroccan salads; getting a scrub and massage at a traditional hammam; touring a winery outside of Essaouira and tasting fine Moroccan wines; touring the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca; and strolling the medinas in each city we visited. With Omar as our guide, all of our needs for Moroccan coffee, mint tea, and stopping for impromptu photo ops with goats in trees were happily accommodated. He even taught me some basic Darija so I could communicate with my daughter's host family in Rabat.

Our specialist, Abdellah, put together a great trip for us. We only had a week and wanted to see as much of Morocco as possible. Abdellah worked with me to design the exact itinerary we needed, and he set up all good hotels/riads. He also chose a great driver, Karim, for us. Karim couldn't have been more helpful. He took great care of us from the time he picked us up at the airport until the time he dropped us back off a week later.
We spent time in Marrakech, the Sahara Desert, Fes, Casablanca, and many smaller places in between. We had a half-day city tour in Marrakech with a terrific young woman named Chama. She was a ray of bright sunshine - knowledgable, personable, and so excited to show us around. Another major highlight was our night in the Sahara in a luxury camp. From the camel ride out to the beautiful accommodations to the music under the stars, it was a night we'll never forget.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to book through Kimkim again, nor would I hesitate to recommend Abdellah and his team to anyone wanting to visit Morocco. I'm grateful to all of them for a safe, smooth, and memorable trip!

First of all, the assistance Yassine provided from the day I made contact with him was fantastic. He worked with me to build a trip that would meet all of our needs and the response time was immediate and the details provided were perfect to enable me to make decisions about our trip.

Secondly, our driver in Morocco, Hassan, was so incredibly sweet and basically worked for us 24/7 to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see, made sure we were always well taken care of and was always honest, cheerful, and gracious.

Thirdly, the accommodations were spectacular, from the cozy spot in Chefchaouen to the lavish Dar Roumana in Fes and Riad Bellamane in Marrakech. The rooms and service at each location were above and beyond our expectations.

Our favorite spot was Chechchaouen, were we hiked to the Spanish mosque at sunrise, returned to our hotel for a lovely breakfast, and then toured the city. Hassan provided us with a guide at the last minute, Youssef, and Youssef was a local who spent 2 hours with us touring the medina and explaining everything about the gorgeous blue city.

Our stop at Volubilis was an unexpected delight as well--we spent an hour walking through the well preserved ruins of an ancient Roman city with no other tourists around. A lunch of delicious couscous on an outside terrace at a hillside restaurant in Moulay Idriss completed this stop en route to Fes.

In Fes, we had a delicious meal at Dar Roumana and a full day tour where we saw all of the key sights. Finishing the day at a Hammam, followed by a delicious dinner at Maison Blanche/MB and a drink at the gorgeous rooftop of Hotel Sahrai completed our visit to Fes.

The long ride to Marrakech was a bit more than we expected, but the scenery was interesting and we made it a beautiful Riad and went off exploring the medina--much more commercial and crowded but still interesting. The restaurants and cafe scene is much more active in Marrakech, but it remained our least favorite spot due to the crowds and overall tourist feel and carnival aspect of the famous Djema el Fna square. The YSL museum was a highlight, and we went first thing in the morning and beat the crowds and enjoyed seeing his designs and info on his incredibly creative life.

I highly recommend booking with Yassine if you want a completely no-hassle trip with all details taken care of, as well as the flexibility of a private service at the highest level.

KimKim was fantastic! The remote planning process was simple and seamless, working within my budget to optimize my time spent in Morocco. Megan’s itinerary hit all of the major highlights with some hidden gems along the way. This included a night in the majestic city of Chefchouen, a hidden cafe here and there, and a tour of the biggest garden in Marrakech. All of the guides were knowledgeable and respectful. At no time as a solo traveller did I feel pressured or unsafe.

Omar my driver was also sensational! He had remarkable driving skills for the chaos of the city streets, the winding curves of the mountains, and the blind turns of the medinas. He was not only able to safely get me to where I needed to go but was able to entertain and delight along the way. He was even considerate enough to invite me to meet his mother in Ouarzazate, and he purchased a birthday cake for my birthday in the Sahara! My trip was truly made extra memorable by his presence.

My partner and I wanted somewhere warm to visit in November, with good views and lots to see and explore. Morocco certainly delivered and we couldn’t have organised the trip without kimkim and Morocco Immersion.
We’re busy working people and didn’t have enough time to independently research where to go, what to do in Morocco and investigate what’s feasible to achieve in one week. The process of booking the trip through kimkim was smooth and easy. Sharon, our tour organiser, was so helpful throughout and even when we changed our minds endlessly on what we could achieve in a week of visiting Morocco, she was incredibly patient and accommodating to our changing preferences. Sharon made sure the holiday was tailored to what we wanted and gave great advice on where we should visit and what we should do. Given Sharon was a real expert in the area, her suggestions were invaluable so that we got exactly what we wanted out of the holiday.
We decided on having 1 full day in Marrakech before moving on to explore the Atlas Mountains, Sahara Desert and surrounding areas for 4 days of travelling. The final 2 days of the tour would see us return to Marrakech for some ‘downtime’ so that we could explore the fascinating city in our own time.
We had a private driver for the duration of the trip, Hicham, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible without having to stress about what we were doing each day. In each location we visited, a local tour guide would greet us and take us on some incredible adventures. The organisation and transition to each individual tour was flawless. We’d arrive in a new location and within 5 minutes, we were whisked off to ride camels, walk through bustling markets, eat dates from palm trees and visit movie sets!
Morocco Immersion who gave us the tour were incredible. Hicham was so kind and considerate - he took us to all the best spots for great photos and was so careful not to impose, ensuring we still had alone time as well. Our favourite part of the tour was the night in the desert, which we travelled to by camel while the sun was setting. The sunrise the next day was simply stunning as well; a moment we’ll never forget admiring the sun rising only surrounded by the Saharan sand.

There was a lot of driving on the trip but it didn’t feel too bad as it was constantly broken up by regular stops and guided tours along the way. Marrakech can feel quite overwhelming as a tourist, however with a guide it’s far better. Through kimkim and Morocco Immersion, we really were provided with a truly immersive experience they promise, enabling us to learn about the culture, the history and fall in love with the beautiful country. Thank you for a brilliant experience, we cannot wait to return!

Our trip to Morocco was nothing short of amazing. We have never traveled with a guided tour and now I'm questioning why we haven't. Abdellah was awesome from the very beginning, communicating everything we needed to do in order to prepare for our trip. He was available anytime we needed him throughout our vacation as well which meant so much to us. I had left a precious luxury item at Tiziri camp which was rather far from where we were headed yet Abdellah and Karim made sure I had it in my hands before I left for the states. I can't say enough amazing things about this team as they made my family's trip very memorable. While Abdellah worked behind the scenes to ensure everything went smoothly, Karim executed everything beautifully and pretty much made our entire trip so memorable. If you decide to go to Morocco, staying overnight at Tiziri Luxury camp is a must, especially the camel trek to the site. The experience was surreal and unlike anything else. One thing I would change about our itinerary would be the hotel/riad accommodations. If you're used to luxurious, western hotel rooms, I would suggest staying at a riad for the experience 1-2 days then request a 5-star hotel the rest of the trip. Although the riads were stunning, I prefer hotels but hopefully next time (soon)! I would definitely book another trip with KimKim again! Our trip was wonderful. Our driver Faysal was by our side throughout the trip. Other than in Casablanca, all our hotels and Riads were exceptional. Riad Lina in Chefchaouen and Riad Passali were the best. Every day was planned well, with time to tour and rest. Faysal was very attentive and helpful. He knew the roads, ATM's well. His took us to a store to get scarves and water before the nights in the Sahara. Cannot thank him enough for everything he did for us.

Hakim did a wonderful job planning our vacation. He was very responsive to our feedback and worked with us to create an itinerary that suited everyone's needs. A night in the Sahara was a highlight of the trip where we enjoyed a beautiful cloudless night of star gazing. Getting to the Sahara involved a lot of driving so we were happy to have the company of our driver, Said, who brought joy to our long van rides. We got to stop at many attractions along the way to break up the drive. Exploring Ait Benhaddou was tons of fun and I was glad to have stopped to take the studio tour in Ouarzazate (never would have thought to stop there without the help of kimkim). All of our accommodations were lovely, especially Dar Azam in Marrakech - Omar and Sana (employees or Dar Azam) were extremely welcoming.
