My family and I had a tremendously enjoyable visit to Morocco due to the amazing work by the team at Original Travels! Mohamed E. crafted a custom tour throughout the country, personalizing the itinerary, excursions, and accommodations to meet our special requests. Said was a very welcoming and gracious host, fielding the operations seamlessly behind the scenes. The city tour guides were wonderful, particularly Mohamed D. in Marrakesh, and we learned so much about Moroccan history, culture, and people. We also give special thanks to our driver, Soufiane. Throughout the entire trip, Soufiane was a very attentive, accommodating host, a skilled and safe driver, and a great overall companion for us on the road. Our Moroccan itinerary proved excellent, and the travel pace, personal vehicle, riad hotels, and site tours were all top notch. If you are looking for a VIP experience in Morocco, I highly recommend using Original Travels to organize your trip. Our trip to Morocco was nothing short of magical—a harmonious blend of vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and unparalleled hospitality. We explored iconic cities such as Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, and the tranquil Bin El Ouidane, each offering its own story, charm, and allure. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, starting with the warm welcome of fragrant mint tea and delightful cookies upon check-in. Every riad we stayed at was an oasis of beauty, character, and tranquility. Whether it was the intricate tilework, soaring arches, or the lush gardens, these boutique hotels were a testament to Moroccan craftsmanship and architecture. The staff at our accommodations consistently went above and beyond, from the thoughtful surprise of a wine bottle in our room to ensure we were fully relaxed, to the adorable peacocks and puppies on the property that made each stay all the more memorable. The lavish breakfast spreads, private pools with stunning views, freshest juices and local delicacies, making every morning feel like a feast.

Our itinerary was packed with unforgettable moments, thanks to our tour organizer, who curated an utterly seamless experience. Their knack for uncovering hidden gems was amazing; we visited local markets, explored historical gems like Volubilis, and savored a hearty dinner with a local family in Fez, learning stories passed down through generations. Beyond rich culture and history, adventure was front and center—whether it was riding camels through the Agafay Desert, singing around a bonfire under the stars, or enjoying a thrilling fire show. A highlight of the trip was hiking the Ouzoud Waterfalls, followed by a relaxing spa session at a luxurious Hammam in Marrakech. The professionalism of both our tour operator(Majid) and driver(Khalid) made everything effortless, even when a flight delay and missing luggage threw a challenge our way. The team’s swift action to recover our bags, despite a long detour, showed genuine care and dedication. With an English-speaking driver who was a walking encyclopedia of Morocco’s history and our knowledgeable local guides, every moment was immersive and enriching. We left not only with unforgettable memories but also having made two lifelong friends. Morocco is a destination like no other, and this tour operator has set the gold standard for customer service, making the journey truly extraordinary.

We took a 14 day family trip through Morocco, and Hamza helped us plan our trip. He listened to our interests and accommodated all our requests- from city tours to rock climbing to kite surfing (which did not happen because there was no wind). Hamza connected us with a local tour company who actually handled the trip detail- and Said and Hamza (another Hamza) did a great job taking care of us. Special shout out to Hamza, our driver- a very careful and awesome driver who became our friend after countless hours of driving through Morocco! There were some disappointments- for example, no tour guide at Rabat and we skipped some sites due to miscommunication, but Said was very responsive and fixed the situation as soon as I contacted him. He made sure we had a guide in every city after that. Overall, the trip was fantastic and we learned a lot about the history, food, and people of Morocco. Thank you, Hamza, Said, and Hamza! =)

The owner went out of his way to accommodate our needs, and I wish I had cash to tip more. No wind, so we had to cancel. They switched us to regular surfing lesson on day 1 - which was ok but not what we signed up for. There was some miscommunication between our trip organizer and the vendor who did not know that we were coming on a windless day , etc. Apparently, the surfing instructor (Salim?) was outstanding but the overall experience was not great. We are still trying get refunded for kitesurfing - we were supposed to kite surf 2 days and it's much more expensive than regular surfing, which we did only 1 day.

The stable was very dirty- never seen so many flies. The ride was fine although one of the horses dropped to the ground and my husband could have gotten hurt (thankfully he didn't) and the guide did not speak much English or provide any explanation. But the scenary was beautiful.

Made a short stop at Rabat- Our driver dropped us off at the Mausoleum- we just wandered around without knowing what we were looking at, and a local guide started talking to us. He provided some explanation, which was fine, but then he pressured us to pay him 400 Mdhars. Wish we had a proper guide with us and shown us around a bit more- it looked like an interesting city.

We had an amazing afdventure in the beautiful country of Morocco! Our personal car guide was so kind and made us feel so very welcome! Tarik was always looking out for our best interest! We visted many amzing places, but the family enjoyed the Sahara Desert part of the trip the most. Riding the camels and taking in the beautiful views across the sand dunes will always be a memory we hold dear. The trip was a great adventure and Tarik helped to make sure all went well!

I recently enjoyed an unforgettable 10-day journey through Morocco with my daughter, made possible by the exceptional team at KimKim. We had an ambitious itinerary that most agencies dismissed as unrealistic, but KimKim rose to the challenge. While upfront about the long travel days, they delivered a well-paced and exciting plan that included every destination we hoped to visit.
Our trip began in Casablanca and took us through Rabat, the charming Blue City of Chefchaouen, and the historic heart of Fez, where we explored the medina and took part in a memorable cooking class. From there, we ventured into the Sahara for a magical desert experience—complete with a sunset camel ride, ATV adventure, and an unforgettable night under the stars at Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp. Our desert guide, Ali, was both knowledgeable and fun, making the experience even more special.
Next, we relaxed at the beautiful Ksar El Kabbaba in Skoura, where the hotel’s spa offered a perfect retreat. We ended our journey in Marrakesh, where a local guide enriched our exploration of the medina, hammams, and souks.
Visits to carpet vendors, tanneries, and ceramic workshops gave us a deeper appreciation for Moroccan craftsmanship and a few beautiful souvenirs.
Throughout it all, our driver Tayeb was outstanding—safe, insightful, and always helpful. His excellent English and thoughtful guidance elevated every leg of our journey. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying ourselves. We feel that we must return to Morocco just to visit with Tayeb!
This trip not only revealed the beauty and culture of Morocco but also gave me treasured time with my daughter. Every detail was expertly managed, allowing us to truly be present. We had outstanding guides for each city we went to; they were extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of their respective cities and regions - some of the best guides we have ever had on a trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of places we went, from the green mountains and blue buildings of Chefchaouen, to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the markets of Fez and Meknes, the desert in the South and ocean city of Essaouira, the remoteness and ruggedness of the High Atlas of Imlil, and of course the dynamic Marrakesh, just to name a few. We thoroughly enjoyed the Riyads that were selected by KimKim, and would love to go back and spend more time at tome of them. Even in Imlil, while the lodge was rustic, it had a certain charm. Hakim at KimKim was very attentive when a few issues came up, and they were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. My utmost praise for Khalid who was our driver. As we spent a fair amount of time in the van it is important to have a great relationship with your driver, and Khalid did not disappoint. He gave insightful comments about the towns and regions we were traveling through, and provided meaningful observations about the local people and their cultures, and answered all our questions. The tour would not have been as successful without him at the wheel. Some of fondest memories are driving through the almost deserted roads of Morocco, admiring the beautiful and ever-changing landscape, listening to the Moroccan singer Oum, Steely Dan, The Beach Boys, etc. - simply enchanting.

All of the hotels and riyads we stayed at were great (with the exception of Eden Roc in Oualidia) and each was unique in their own respect, so I would love to give all of them high marks, but since we started in Rabat I would say the Euphoriad set the tone for the whole trip. The room we had was wonderfully furnished and with mirrors all around - understandable considering it is named after the Daffodil flower - Narjis in Morocco. Everything was very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the bathrobe as it had a hood, just like on the djellaba; first time I have ever seen a bathrobe like that and I wanted to take it home! The hotel was a riyad with the center open area, and beautiful tilework and artwork throughout. The dining area was very nice and the included breakfast was great, and small enough that you could share stories with your fellow travelers. It is also very well situated and is a riyad and Rabat a city I would like to visit again.

Our trip began in Casablanca where our driver Karim picked us up from our hotel. Karim was outstanding; pleasant and knowledgeable of the cities we visited & and an excellent driver. He was always on time & available; kind, helpful, & willing to help us with any questions. When visiting other cities & sites he always introduced us to our guides & was waiting for us on completion. One of my favorite guides was Sharib in Fez though all of the guides provided were great including ones provided at sites like the tannery & mosaic factory. They were not overly zealous in asking us to buy goods.
Cities visited; Rabat, where we stayed at the Sofitel. The hotel was beautiful with large beautifully appointed rooms & grounds. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the city.
Tangier started off poorly when there was no reservation for our stay. DO NOT PUT PEOPLE AT THE HILTON THERE FRONT DESK STAFF ARE SLOW & NOT HELPFUL ALMOST RUDE. The problem was eventually sorted out by your local representative. Compared to our other hotels & Ryads it was not even close in comparison. We did enjoy the city & the Hercules Caves. Chefchaoen is a beautiful city & lives up to its reputation, as the Blue Pearl. Lina Ryad & Spa was excellent in every way. Our final destination was Fes where we stayed at the Riad Fes & Chareaux. The Riad could not do enough for us during our stay, they anticipated our every need, remembered our names & provided excellent service. Highly recommend. Our tour of the Medina with our guide Sharib was great. Stops at the pottery & mosaic factory and the leather factory provided excellent souvenirs with minimal pressure to buy.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Morocco 🇲🇦 & these cities.

I have been privileged to travel to many amazing places with my job (UK, Spain, France, Greece, Australia, Kenya, South Africa etc) and none compare to the experience we had in Morocco. From the first contact with Maryem and the full conversation with Sharon where I was able to ask any question I wanted to finalize the locations, the planning of the trip went smoothly. Together we came up with an itinerary that fit my two day conference into the planning and Maryem worked hard to ensure we could go to all of the places we wanted while suggesting other (amazing) stops to see along the way.This was my first guided tour and I was nervous about all of the unknowns, including spending 9 days with one specific tour guide with just me and my aunt. What if we didn't like him or understand him? 9 days is a long time!!! From the second Ahmed arrived at the airport to pick us up everything went smoothly and he just got better and better every day as we got to know each other a bit better. He was accommodating at every turn and our enjoyment was his biggest concern. Even when we weren't with him he was texting to make sure we were navigating fine, felt safe, and knew where to go to eat etc. Along the way Ahmed introduced us to other guides with context specific knowledge --each one was engaging, highly knowledgable and fun to spend time with. All of the guides we worked with were accommodating to our needs--if we wanted to cut a tour short to spend time at a pool or to add on something else in the vicinity they did so without batting an eye. Morocco is an amazing place from its breathtaking scenery to its people, culture and sense of community to its mouth watering food. We had a wonderful time on our trip to Morocco! Ali is the best travel agent I have ever worked with. He is very responsive and created a great itinerary y for us. The driver-guide was punctual, professional, had a clean car with AC and friendly. There was some variability with the local guides: the guide in Volubilis and Fez were good, but the one in Chefchaouen had limited knowledge of the local history. (We may have come in with high expectations as we were coming from Spain where we had guides who had graduate degrees in history or art history). We enjoyed staying at the Riads, with the exception of the riad in Fez. The Riad in Fez was beautiful but lacked in creature comforts: the beds were super firm, the towels in the bathrooms were worn out and the bread served at breakfast was stale. These details were surprising for a riad that is supposed to be 5-star! (We also strongly suspect we may have gotten food poisoning at this riad...). It would also have been helpful to have a better understanding of how much local crafts cost, it was unclear how we were supposed to attain that information. Nevertheless, we had an amazing trip to Morocco! Thank you!

They put an extra comforter down for us but it only marginally improved comfort. The bathroom towels provided were old and worn. The toiletries weren't as nice as we were expecting for a 5-star place. At breakfast, we were served stale bread. Needless to say, we were disappointed.

Our trip to Morocco was even more than I could have imagined. The food was fantastic, the landscapes, the smaller and larger towns, the mountains, Roman ruins and, of course, the camel ride and camping in the desert - all of which far exceeded our expectations. What made our trip so special though was not just these places...it was our driver, Tayeb. He expertly navigated mountain roads, through villages to the desert and back and, throughout our journey found the perfect stops for coffee and great lunch stops. He also made terrific dinner recommendations and always made sure we knew about the towns we were staying in. Above and beyond that, Tayeb was great company and made even the longest of our drives between cities go very quickly with his easy-to-get-along-with personality. If you have a driver as great as Tayeb, you'll have an amazing time exploring Morocco! I should also add that we had guides in both Fes and Marrakech...which are essential. The complex alleys and small roads makes it impossible for a visitor to navigate without expert guidance. Sharif was our guide in Fes and he was extremely knowledgeable about how to navigate the streets of Fes' marketplace. Mohammed was our guide in Marrakech and he, too, was an expert navigator and guide. Also, Said from Original Travel was extremely responsive throughout our journeys in Morocco...and we would not have had our amazing driver Tayeb or our amazing guides without him.

This Riad is in a very small town that we probably would not have stopped at on our own if we had designed every element of our itinerary by ourselves. I'm so glad our travel agent included this stop. The Riad looks unassuming on the outside (as most do) but there was a lovely pool, gardens to walk through in the back and the food was truly gourmet. It's decorated in a more modern way, and it was, overall, a lovely place to spend a night in between long travels between 2 larger cities.

From the moment we decided to book a tour of Morocco with KimKim, we were met with excellent customer care. The KimKim team, especially Said, was quick to respond and patiently answered our many questions and requests for customization. The website was great to use and served us well throughout the planning and during the trip.
Even before we embarked on our journey from Denver to Casablanca, Oussama, our driver/guide, was in contact with us and as soon as we touched down he efficiently navigated us towards him and the very comfortable van we would call ours for the next ten days. There was no doubt that we were in the best hands possible. Aside from being a kind and patient human, Oussama organically shared his love and knowledge of his beautiful country with us throughout the trip. He patiently accommodated our schedules and needs and answered a million questions. We added several excursions and each was superb. He matched us with Mohammed for a most insightful and delicious city and food tour in Marrakech; the next morning, we dove into a Hammam experience that my daughter called the absolute best thing that has ever happened to her, while my husband played golf at the oldest golf club in Morocco. We left Marrakech after three nights, following the lush green river valley to the striking peaks of the Atlas mountains to Imlil for one nicht. Again we were met by a knowledgeable guide who exposed us to the culture of his people and kindly opened up his house for a traditional lunch before continuing our hike to a waterfall through narrow, steep paths with amazing views. After a comfortable night at what seemed like our own private hotel (with pool), we left the peaks for the desert for two nights. Who thought we would be greeted with such comfort - the clamping in Agafay, as everything, exceeded our expectations. So did the ATV tour and Camel ride (with a baby camel in tow), followed by surfing and another Hammam in Essaouira… too many highlights to list. Every accomodation was great (with the Riad Le Pelerin in Marrakech being the most beautiful and special place we have ever stayed at), every restaurant recommendation, every place to stop to take in the sights - even when pressed, I could not come up with a ‘complaint’. This trip was the most memorable vacation we have ever taken with our family and the sounds, sights and tastes will be with us forever. We are already thinking about where we can go next and KimKim is on top of our list to guide us on our next adventure. Highly, highly recommend the company and their fantastic local partners. Again, big shout-out to Said and Oussama for a trip of a lifetime to North Africa.

Every aspect of the trip was carefully and beautifully curated. This was the first time that we took a trip organized by an agency.
Maryem was very responsive from the beginning of the planning and organized an amazing trip for our family of five. She planned an unforgettable trip beginning and ending in Marrakesh, with a 4 Day Loop across the Atlas mountains through Dades Valley into the desert. Every Riad and Kasbah we stayed at were great. The camel ride at sunset to the luxury camp under the stars was a highlight not only of this trip but of any trip we’ve taken.
Aside from the planning, the most valuable aspect of the trip was our driver and guide, Omar. He not only drove us safely from place to place and provided historical and cultural information on Morocco and the places we visited, but he exemplified the hospitality, sincerity and friendliness of the Moroccan people. He connected us with local guides in the specific places we visited, who were also great. We particularly enjoyed walking through some of the small villages and appreciating the local people, local food, local culture, music and economy.
During the trip, we were able to communicate with Maryem to tweak our itinerary, which we left flexible (purposefully) for the final day and a half. We spent a 1/2 day with Omar, appreciating the Jardin Majorelle, Berber Museum and Yves Saint Laurent museum.
Overall, it was an unforgettable eight days in Morocco and we are looking forward to returning again with the same agencies (Morocco Imersion) and Kim Kim.

We returned to the US last week after one of the most memorable travel trips to Morocco. The cities we visited between Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Marrakech and everything in between from the Roman ruins at Volubilis, through the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert, were a unique and fascinating experience. Morocco had everything to offer from the unique local culture and people to its ancient history, historical buildings, architecture, fossils, great food and friendly locals. The guides at all the locations were excellent and knowledgeable. The Riads were stayed in were very different from anything we have experienced, starting with their location in narrow, winding streets, to the unique architecture and their friendly, prompt service. This is a country we will return to at some point in the future.

A special mention of our driver Muhammad who stayed with through the entire trip. He was outstanding in every respect. He is an excellent driver, always followed all road rules, was courteous to other drivers, and always positive and enthusiastic. He was always attentive to our needs, showed us numerous sites along the travel route, and was friendly, courteous, extremely respectful to us and always made sure we were well taken care of. We came to know him and his family through wonderful conversations throughout the trip which especially made days with long drives, go by quickly. With local friends he has in every stop along the way, he is a great ambassador to Morocco explaining various aspects of the culture, language, food habits which really gave us a sense of the country and its people, beyond just visiting the typical tourist places. We would highly recommend him to any future visitors to Morocco.
