We had a wonderful trip to Central and North Vietnam. Originally we planned on two days in Ho Chi Minh City but due to a traveling companion’s illness we missed the first two days of our trip. We had a wonderful trip to Central and North Vietnam. Originally we planned on two days in Ho Chi Minh City but due to a traveling companion’s illness we missed the first two days of our trip. Kim Kim was very helpful in rearranging our itinerary so that we could fly into DaNang and start the trip from that point. Kim Kim even got us a few refunds on some of our missed activities.

Our two days in Hoi An were delightful. Our guide David Hau was fantastic. He went over and beyond in arranging for pick up of an item left on the plane. Can’t thank him enough.

Halong Bay was also a must see.

It’s a pleasure for us to review our three week holiday to Vietnam through Kim Kim as we had an amazing trip and would honestly recommend this service to anyone. We loved everything about this beautiful country and can’t speak highly enough of our tour organiser Huyen who was patient, generous and incredibly professional with her dealings with us. Thankyou very very much Huyen and Kim Kim. Much appreciated!

We have never been into joining tours. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them & they are especially good for those pressed for time & who want to see as much as possible. We have always enjoyed discovering places on our own & in our own time so there was an element of apprehension when I booked our 1 week in Hanoi.

Well it was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived till the minute we were dropped off at the airport, we were in the best hands possible. Our guide Binh & our driver also called Binh made sure we wanted for nothing. They were always punctual & cheerful. The car was always freshly stocked with bottles of water & Bihn the driver was always making sure the air conditioning was the way we wanted it. Hotels were luxury grade, the meals planned were delicious (my only complaint being there was always too much good food😁)& Bihn our guide made sure we saw as much as we could & was chock full of information regarding the places we visited. The highlight for us was Ha Long bay on the Indochine which was highly recommended by the travel agency.
The local travel agency through Nguyen messaged us 3 times during the week to ask how we were doing & called us today as we were driving to the airport to say goodbye.
I have to give credit to Trang & Kimkim travels through whom I booked. I would use them again without hesitation. They asked me what I wanted, listened carefully & they delivered.
Loved Hanoi, the people, the places, the food, the warmth & the hospitality. 🙏❤️

Our trip planning was extremely smooth and easy. We wanted to balance city exploration with experiences in country side, exploring local villages and exploring outdoors through activities such as walks, hikes, bikes rides, kayaking with lots of downtime as well. This was our first visit to Viet Nam. We wanted to see as much as possible in 12 nights so our itinerary was pretty full on but it gave us the chance to have a fantastic look at and feel for the country.

It has made us want to return, do a more leisurely trip and choose to stay at the places we liked the most.

From the moment we made contact with Ashley to organise an itinerary, until the moment we boarded our last flight the entire trip ran like clock work and Ashley made herself available to us at any time should we need advice or extra info.

There were many highlights, we really loved the Vespa food tour in Saigon and the Capella cruise in Halong Bay. But seriously everything was brilliant.

Do not hesitate to book with KimKim travel, they are truly professionals and their ground staff/tour guides are amazing too. Special shout out to Vic for the Vespa tour for making us feel safe amongst the millions of bikes 👍.

Prepare yourself to eat some amazing food, and all the local beers hit the spot exactly after a long day (or a coconut coffee ). Just do it.

We especially wish to thank our guide in Siem Reap who provided an amazing experience taking us to the temples as well as the night markets and recommending various food to try. It was exceptionally hot and we were able to rearrange the day on the fly to avoid the hottest part of the day.
The drivers were excellent and made us feel relaxed so we could enjoy the scenery and we welcomed the chilled water each time we returned to the vehicles.

We recently went through them for a 16 day trip to Vietnam, including a number of stops, tours, flights and transfers through Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hoi An, Hanoi, Sapa and Ha Long Bay. We cannot recommend Long and KimKim (and their partner, Realistic Asia) enough. We recently went through them for a 16 day trip to Vietnam, including a number of stops, tours, flights and transfers through Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hoi An, Hanoi, Sapa and Ha Long Bay.

Everything worked so smoothly, from the initial planning, where Long worked with us to develop an itinerary that matched with what we wanted to do, to the practical support on the ground in Vietnam. The one slight hiccough we had (a bus picking us up 45 mins late) was resolved almost immediately by Evelyn in the KimKim team, despite it being 6am, and had no knock-on impact on our journey.

Our guide in Ho Chi Minh City, Phuc, was so organised and knowledgeable about the city, and we really appreciated his flexibility in showing us places that weren’t necessarily in the original itinerary. In Hue and Hoi An, Loi brought the richness of the deep history of the cities to life. Chao in Sapa gave us a real insight into local cultures, and Khuê in Hanoi was so lovely with us and our parents, who joined for part of the holiday.

The team is responsive, helpful, polite and knowledgeable. We would have no hesitation at all using KimKim or Realistic Asia again in the future.

Everything was amazing, the tour guides and drivers were very good, kind and very thorough.
The only feedback that we have, is to improve on the hotels, the location and quality could be better for some of the locations .

Once again KimKim has come through with an amazing trip! Our local specialist in Vietnam, Doris, designed a perfect 15 day family adventure in Vietnam and Cambodia. Doris filled our journey with excursions and experiences that perfectly balanced nature, culture, history and local life. We were able to enjoy both the bustling cities and the remote countryside villages of this beautiful country and meet artisans and locals along the way. We always felt warmly welcomed by our various local guides, and we also had plenty of time to explore on our own, with Doris on call with we had any questions or needed advice. We loved every place and every experience on land and water from riding on the back of motorbikes through the truly local areas of Ho Chi Minh City to wandering the winding alleys of old Hanoi, to riding in army jeeps past water buffalo and water lotus in the countryside of Hoi An, to exploring the jaw dropping ancient temples of Siem Reap. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

Overall, our Vietnam trip was a delightful experience, and everything went seamlessly according to the plan.
The local agent was good, the drivers were very good. The guides were nice/polite and eager to help. Maybe they should be more knowledgeable. Their English level was rather poor.

Hello, I would like to share my comments about our Vietnam trip.
Overall, our Vietnam trip was a delightful experience, and everything went seamlessly according to the plan.

One thing that spoiled our trip was the Hotel in Hanoi. Despite spending our last two days in a beautiful little place, our accommodation was subpar
One thing that I recommend is for the travel agents to be more specific about the hotels/list, provide at least two options, and let the clients decide. I booked the hotels without knowing the exact level/price of each hotel. I have made clear that we wanted 4/5 star hotels.
Hue, Ha Long Bay, and Hoi An were unique experiences. We particularly enjoyed the Ecolodge at Mai Chau; it was an excellent idea. Additionally, the cruise was excellent.

Our trip to Vietnam was amazing. The travel agents from Asia Aventura were great. Our trip was seamless. We were there for 14 days and visited Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long, Hoi An, Quy Nhon and Saigon. There was some overlap with the cooking classes and a trip to the coconut groves in Hoi An and Saigon which was a little disappointing, but it did not take away from the overall trip at all. We would definitely use Asia Aventura again for our next trip to Vietnam. Thank you!!

We are very impressed with the travel organization and all guides who were very imformative and sociable. The two guides we spent the most time with: Lam in the south and Hiep in the north were really helpful and personable, and we really liked spending time with them. They were both very flexible, and adjusted the program to fit our needs when necessary.
The program was intense, but we enjoyed all parts. The highlights were Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. Read more

Trang made great efforts to adapt the trip to our needs with multiple changes before we decided on the final trip

We had a great trip to Vietnam and Cambodia
Trang made great efforts to adapt the trip to our needs with multiple changes before we decided on the final trip
We first explored Hanoi and surroundings with our guide Ky : Hanoi city, biking and hiking in the rice fields around Puo Luong, and Ha Long bay. Ky is a really enthusiastic and dynamic guide 😉, Be sure to ask him if you can to hike and explore the north of Vietnam
Then we flew to Siem Reap and discovered the wonderful temples of Angkor, and an elephant retreat , with guide Bun. Bun did a wonderful job at introducing the Cambodian culture, which is very different from Vietnam, he is very knowledgeable and his English is excellent which made communication very easy.
And finally, we flew back to Vietnam, to Hoi An.
We discovered this wonderful little city with our guide Hân: The ancient town, the many lanterns , the rice fields and the coconut plantations. Both his English and French are excellent and he was also very helpful during these few days, a lovely person.
With our 12 day trip, we only discovered a tiny portion of these wonderful countries that offer many more possibilities for exploring their fascinating cultures
Transportation with our own dedicated minivan and driver was always at a very high-level
Hotels were exactly what we asked for
Thumbs up 👍🏻 for the organization, highly recommended

Halong Bay is certainly worth exploring as a natural wonder, but the massive amount of tourists makes this a little bit of a lesser experience for us. I would advise exploring the alternatives around it as you will probably encounter less tourist
