We were happy with the travel and the guide was friendly and on time. We felt a little disappointed with his knowledge of the facilities that we toured.

Awesome trip to Vietnam! This was the 4th trip that we have booked through KimKim and again it was an excellent decision for us. Working through KimKim and their associated travel agencies is an absolute pleasure. For Vietnam we worked with Doris at Asia Aventura. She put together a fantastic itinerary for us, starting in Hanoi and moving south to Ninh Binh, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh and the Mekong Delta. Everything was meticulously arranged, from accommodation, transport and activities. Thank you Doris for arranging such a superb experience for us in Vietnam, and a big thank you to our guides Huyen, Thuy and Ha, who looked after us so well and shared their knowledge of such a beautiful country! We loved Vietnam and its wonderful and friendly people and will definitely visit again.

Doris was so helpful from the first time we discussed my trip to Vietnam. She was responsive throughout the trip when I had questions and was especially attentive because I was traveling alone. The sites and activities she recommended were really fun, my favorites being Hanoi, the Silk Village and Old town, the guide and driver were friendly and helpful throughout. The historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City were fascinating and the guide and driver were friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the tour of the Mekong delta, the activities were so interesting and the group I was part of was so much fun. I would love to go again and would be thrilled to work with Doris again.

Sue and I could not be happier with the service Lucy and Kim Kim provided. From the initial itinerary Lucy provided, through the final draft, which really consisted of two changes, Lucy was attentive and very very responsive. We basically travelled north to south. Our hotel accommodations were absolutely top shelf. Transfers between locations were effortless and well planned in advance. From the moment we landed in Hanoi until the time we departed Ho Chi Minh City, we worried about NOTHING! Our guides exceptional! Dak in Hanoi, Bao highlighted all the beauty of the terraced rice paddy’s in Sapa. We hiked 10k with her through the local villages and we were even able to spend a short time in a local villagers home. Ha Long Bay/Capella Cruise a true spectacle of beauty. Our personal guide in Hoi An, Hoa provided a city tour we’ll remember forever. Tien, our fishing day guide was an absolute hoot! Then we flew to Ho Chi Minh City where Diem stepped up and provided two full days of a non stop unforgettable experience taking us from the inner city highlites to the Mekong Delta. All guides were friendly, fluent and extremely accommodating to all of our needs. We thank Lucy and the Kim Kim team for a truly unforgettable and wonderful holiday! Thank you to everyone!

The trip Lucy put together for our group exceeded our expectations! The trip had just the right amount of adventure and down time. She was very accommodating when we made slight changes in our itinerary (ie adding a stop at a brewery we heard about)! The guides were helpful, informative, easy to understand and prompt. Transportation was always on schedule. We look forward to more travel in Asia with Kim Kim!

My guide was Quoc. He was very friendly and certainly tried his best to make sure I had a great time. He even took me a long way out of his way to get me to an ATM after one of our touring days was over. The Kho Muong Cave (Bat Cave) was easily the most memorable thing I saw on my trip. I have been raving to all my friends about it.

The people who work there are lovely. They are always happy, friendly and helpful. The views from the restaurant are amazing, even on foggy days. My room was comfortable but I did trip over the little ledge going into the bathroom a couple of times. It might be a good idea to put a throw rug over the ledge for safety.

Overall very pleased. Tour guide’s English at times was difficult to understand. Interesting that all our female guides English was excellent. Only glitch was not getting the correct room in Hanoi the first four days we were there. Loved the Vespa tour with Ang, Trevor, and Brian! Too many multi course lunches. Next time we would do lunches all on our own to discover more local food.
Our travel specialist, Minh, was super helpful and listened to all my requests or changes in our itinerary. The accommodations were lovely, clean, quiet with good breakfast buffets.

Our trip was wonderful. All the locations was eyes pleasing to see, especially Ha Long Bay and Trang An boat ride. All the tour guides were very informative and engaging, especially the tour guide (john) when we went to Mekong delta. All the hotels were very professional and cleanliness, especially Queen Ann hotel in Nha Trang, they gave us a really nice view of the beach on the 25th floor. I aslo appreciated my tour agent, Dat, for check in on us after every tour to see if everything was ok, that was nice of him. We will definitely plan to work with these tour agents again on our next big trip like this in the future, highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of working with Trang to plan a recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia> I had never used Kim Kim prior so was a bit nervous. No need to be, I was impressed with the service received! From the very beginning, Trang was incredibly responsive and organized, answering all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. Every detail of the trip was well planned.For our 2 week trip we saw 7 cities with the help of 4 different regional tour guides and drivers. 3 of the guides were great, one l was not as knowledgeable as I would have hoped. All guides and drivers were punctual and reliable . I felt completely at ease knowing everything was taken care of. During the trip, everything went smoothly. Trang was in constant contact checking in on us most days. She accommodated minor changes such as changing what we wanted to tour with 24 hours notice.

What stood out the most was how Trang anticipated my needs before I even realized them, ensuring that I had the best possible experience. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia unforgettable. The temples were breathtaking and a "do not miss". Unfortunately Tonle Sap lake was in low water season(mid march) and thus we were unable to get the full experience including getting to see floating villages. While the long drive out did allow us to see Cambodia and small villages, it did not feel a good use of a half day. Aspara dance was entertaining. Food at the dinner was mediocre.

Good to do at night once the sun goes down for a more comfortable experience. Was a ton of fun riding on the back of scooters and getting to know more about life in HCMC from our guides. Feel like we got a good feel for the city as covered alot of ground. The food was good , but was secondary to the scooter experience. We'd been in country for over a week so had already experienced similar foods.

We had an absolutely amazing 2 days exploring the Angkor Wat complex with our guide! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history and culture of the site, which made the tour even more enriching. . He was attentive to our pace, ensuring we had time to explore and ask questions, while also making sure we didn’t miss any of the key highlights. The temples were breathtaking. I would highly recommend booking a guided tour of Angkor Wat to anyone visiting. It’s a must-see, and having a knowledgeable guide and a comfortable van and thoughtful driver (provided cold water and a cold towel at every stop) made it even more special.

Every place that was planned for us was what I imagined in trying to get to know the north region of Ha Noi. Even though the weather was not sunny, the Ha Long Bay was mysterious, when shrouded in clouds. We arrived in Ha Noi, after a busy weekend in Saigon at a wedding but we felt that we could relax the first two nights in our hotel and also on the one night on Capella Cruise. The meals cruise meals were fantastic. We only joined the rooftop 6:00 AM Tai Chi activity, which in the mist of Halong Bay was so memorable. Our driver, Guong? (Means strong in English) was sweet and helpful at every turn). He used English as best he could to point out important sites. Our guide Mr. Win was knowledgeable, but he seemed tired, especially on the first day. I don’t feel we learned a lot about the Old Capital. The Pagoda was OK. Our guide seemed young and in need of some better social skills. Our rower on the Tam Coc tour was amazing, and my husband asked a lot of questions through our guide about the life in that Ninh Binh area. I loved the cooking class in the traditional house. The young woman (never caught her name) was quite fluent in English, and helped her aunt in teaching us recipes.

All the guides were great, John our guide for marble mountain and the drive from Hoi An to Hue , along with Lucy on the afternoon tour in Hoi An we especially good. All the small group tours were good.

Very good on all the details of the trip set up by our agent Lucy and a good communicator.

Hotels were generally good as advertised. Especially hotel in Hue. Imperial hotel in Hanoi facilities were just ok, staff was great though and location was perfect

we stayed here twice on our trip 2nd time the room bathroom needed a shower door - did not have overall bathroom needed some improvement on access to tub / shower, 1st room was great

I could knit pick a few things if i insisted but thats true of anywhere in the world
Vietnam may have been the best trip ive ever done, the place is seriously wonderful

All travel guides were great especially Mimi in Hoi An and John in Saigon. Itinerary was very varied with lots of activities from cooking, cycling, boat trips mixed with history and culture. Great trip.
