What you'll do

After meeting your guide, you'll stroll through downtown Granada to your tasting spot, an elegant gastro pub beloved by locals. Start with a refreshing white wine paired with a local dish from Costa Tropical, a stretch of coastline just south of Granada. Next, taste three different wines from other regions in Spain. Of course, some of the most famous varietals come from the north in provinces like Rioja and Ribero del Duero, but many wines also originate from La Mancha, one of Spain's central regions.

While enjoying your wine, you'll taste a few traditional Spanish tapas and local cheeses. Each dish complements the wine varietal, giving you and your taste buds the whole experience. As you sip, your host will teach you a bit about the country's wine production, including the local production in Granada.

Throughout your tasting, enjoy getting to know your local guide and the relationships they've made with the owners and servers at the pub. The goal is to give you an authentic experience and let you feel like one of the locals. Feel free to ask questions about wine production, the history of varietals in Granada, and Spanish tapas culture.
