Guided Visit & Tasting at the Historic Taylor’s Port Cellar, Porto

Founded in 1692, this distillery in Vila Nova de Gaia is home to historic barrels and a modern museum, which you'll explore on this excursion that centers around Porto's most famous export. After seeing the cellar and learning about the wine-making process, you'll taste samples from some of Taylor's best bottles.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to Taylor's, a 17th-century distillery in Vila Nova de Gaia, an area just south of Porto's historic center. When you arrive at these wine cellars, you'll be led through the rows of giant wine barrels and learn about the history of this 1692 wine-making company. The building now includes a modern museum experience as well, which includes films, photographs, and documents that illuminate more details of Taylor's and the history of port.
